Origin and evolution of false brinelling and fretting corrosion under rolling conditions

Rolling bearings working in oscillating applications often suffer from false brinelling and fretting corrosion that limit their service *** present,the study of oscillation-induced failures is primarily dominated by a large number of sliding and bench ***,most of the previous work are not able to fully describe the two closely related but different failure *** this study,the origin and evolution of the two failures are thoroughly investigated under strictly controlled oscillating rolling *** results show that failure evolves from false brinelling to fretting corrosion under dry friction conditions regardless of the oscillation *** process is accompanied by a large area peeling and serious oxidation,and the oxygen content increases from 2.50 wt%to 21.22 wt%.Oxidation is a crucial factor in the evolution of false brinelling into fretting ***,the distribution of microwear and oxygen content depend on the oscillation *** lubrication conditions,the friction coefficient(COF)is smaller in the initial stage and led to local slip or transient instability of rolling ***,the size of the wear marks and COF increased and appeared to be larger than those under a dry friction ***,grease can separate the contact surfaces,only surface deformation owing to false brinelling and slight damage at the roughness level *** evolution of false brinelling and fretting corrosion is also closely related to residual *** brinelling often occurrs with residual stress accomulation,meanwhile,the residual stress increases from 120 to 300 *** peeling occurs,residual stress is *** failure pattern transformed from false brinelling to fretting corrosion and is accompanied by *** far,none of investigation is able to show satisfactory evolution of oscillating-induced failures,this study may contribute to more scientific understanding of rolling bearings against long-

干旱胁迫严重限制了甘蓝型油菜种植面积的扩大和产量的提升。耐旱性是由多基因控制的复杂数量性状,将QTL定位与转录组测序相结合,是鉴定甘蓝型油菜耐旱候选基因的有效手段。本研究对甘蓝型油菜干旱敏感品系三六矮和耐旱品系科里纳-2构建的F2:6和F2:8重组自交系群体幼苗进行正常灌溉和干旱胁迫处理,测定地上部鲜重、地上部干重、叶片相对含水量、丙二醛和可溶性糖含量,利用SSR和SNP多态性分子标记构建遗传连锁图谱,鉴定耐旱相关QTL和候选区间,结合耐旱材料No11和干旱敏感材料No28的转录组测序,筛选耐旱相关候选基因。研究结果表明:干旱胁迫使甘蓝型油菜幼苗地上部鲜重、地上部干重和叶片相对含水量下降,使叶片丙二醛和可溶性糖含量上升;耐旱相关QTL和候选区间分布于A01、A02、A06、A08、A09、A10、C02、C03、C04、C06和C09染色体;对耐旱材料和干旱敏感材料正常灌溉、干旱24 h、36 h和48 h进行转录组分析,主要差异表达基因显著富集到光合作用、脂肪酸代谢、氨基酸代谢、植物激素信号转导、核糖体、昼夜节律及角质、木栓素和蜡质的生物合成等相关途径;将QTL与转录组测序相结合,鉴定到28个耐旱相关候选基因,主要编码FLC、bHLH105、TGA4、TEM1、ERF003、ACO3、CHli1、LHCB6和PORC等,具有转录因子活性、乙烯产生和信号传导、叶绿素生物合成与结合、叶绿素氧化还原酶以及编码核糖体相关蛋白等功能。这些结果可为揭示甘蓝型油菜耐旱机理及分子标记辅助选育耐旱新品种奠定基础。

Maxillary protrusion combined with mandibular retraction is a highly prevalent but extremely complex maxillofacial deformity that can have a serious negative impact on patients’facial aesthetics and mental *** traditional orthodontic treatment strategy often involves extracting 4 first premolars and conventional fixed techniques,combined with mini-implant screws,to retract the anterior teeth and improve facial *** recent years,an invisible orthodontic technique,without brackets,has become increasingly ***,while an invisible aligner has been used in some cases with reasonable results,there remain significant challenges in achieving a perfect *** case report presents an adolescent patient with bimaxillary protrusion and mandibular *** on the characteristics of the invisible aligners and the growth characteristics of the adolescent’s teeth and jawbone,we designed precise three-dimensional tooth movement and corresponding resistance/over-correction for each tooth,while utilizing the patient’s jawbone growth potential to promote rapid development of the mandible,accurately and efficiently correcting bimaxillary protrusion and skeletal mandibular *** patient’s facial aesthetics,especially the lateral morphology,have been greatly improved,and various aesthetic indicators have also shown significant changes,and to the patient’s great benefit,invasive mini-implant screws were not used during the *** case highlights the advantages of using invisible aligners in adolescent maxillary protrusion combined with mandibular retraction ***,comprehensive and accurate design combined with good application of growth potential can also enable invisible orthodontic technology to achieve perfect treatment effects in tooth extractions,providing clinical guidance for orthodontists.

Enhancing Image Description Generation through Deep Reinforcement Learning:Fusing Multiple Visual Features and Reward Mechanisms

Image description task is the intersection of computer vision and natural language processing,and it has important prospects,including helping computers understand images and obtaining information for the visually *** study presents an innovative approach employing deep reinforcement learning to enhance the accuracy of natural language descriptions of *** method focuses on refining the reward function in deep reinforcement learning,facilitating the generation of precise descriptions by aligning visual and textual features more *** approach comprises three key ***,it utilizes Residual Network 101(ResNet-101)and Faster Region-based Convolutional Neural Network(Faster R-CNN)to extract average and local image features,respectively,followed by the implementation of a dual attention mechanism for intricate feature ***,the Transformer model is engaged to derive contextual semantic features from textual ***,the generation of descriptive text is executed through a two-layer long short-term memory network(LSTM),directed by the value and reward *** with the image description method that relies on deep learning,the score of Bilingual Evaluation Understudy(BLEU-1)is 0.762,which is 1.6%higher,and the score of BLEU-4 is ***-based Image Description Evaluation(CIDEr)scored 0.998,Recall-Oriented Understudy for Gisting Evaluation(ROUGE)scored 0.552,the latter improved by 0.36%.These results not only attest to the viability of our approach but also highlight its superiority in the realm of image *** research can explore the integration of our method with other artificial intelligence(AI)domains,such as emotional AI,to create more nuanced and context-aware systems.

Towards imbalanced motion:part-decoupling network for video portrait segmentation

Video portrait segmentation(VPS), aiming at segmenting prominent foreground portraits from video frames, has received much attention in recent years. However, the simplicity of existing VPS datasets leads to a limitation on extensive research of the task. In this work, we propose a new intricate large-scale multi-scene video portrait segmentation dataset MVPS consisting of 101 video clips in 7 scenario categories,in which 10843 sampled frames are finely annotated at the pixel level. The dataset has diverse scenes and complicated background environments, which is the most complex dataset in VPS to our best *** the observation of a large number of videos with portraits during dataset construction, we find that due to the joint structure of the human body, the motion of portraits is part-associated, which leads to the different parts being relatively independent in motion. That is, the motion of different parts of the portraits is imbalanced. Towards this imbalance, an intuitive and reasonable idea is that different motion states in portraits can be better exploited by decoupling the portraits into parts. To achieve this, we propose a part-decoupling network(PDNet) for VPS. Specifically, an inter-frame part-discriminated attention(IPDA)module is proposed which unsupervisedly segments portrait into parts and utilizes different attentiveness on discriminative features specified to each different part. In this way, appropriate attention can be imposed on portrait parts with imbalanced motion to extract part-discriminated correlations, so that the portraits can be segmented more accurately. Experimental results demonstrate that our method achieves leading performance with the comparison to state-of-the-art methods.

Association between the cumulative triglyceride-glucose index and the recurrence of atrial fibrillation after radiofrequency catheter ablation

BACKGROUND Triglyceride-glucose(TyG)index values are a new surrogate marker for insulin *** study aimed to explore the relationship between cumulative TyG index values and atrial fibrillation(AF)recurrence after radiofrequency catheter ablation(RFCA).METHODS A total of 576 patients with AF who underwent RFCA at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an jiaotong University were included in this *** participants were grouped based on cumulative TyG index values tertiles within 3 months after *** regression and restricted cubic spline analyses were used to determine the relationship between cumulative TyG index values and AF *** predictive value of all risk factors was assessed by receiver operating curve *** There were 375 patients completed the study(age:63.23±10.73 years,64.27%male).The risk of AF recurrence increased with increasing cumulative TyG index values *** adjusting for potential confounders,patients in the medium cumulative TyG index group[hazard ratio(HR)=4.949,95%CI:1.778–13.778,P=0.002]and the high cumulative TyG index group(HR=8.716,95%CI:3.371–22.536,Pline regression model also showed an increased risk of AF recurrence with increasing cumulative TyG index *** considering cumulative TyG index values,left atrial diameter,and lactate dehydrogenase levels as a comprehensive factor,the model could effectively predict AF recurrence after RFCA[area under the curve(AUC)=0.847,95%CI:0.797–0.897,Pnal TyG index values may assist with optimized for risk stratification and outcome prediction for AF recurrence.

Synthesis, Characterization of Polyethylene Ionomers and Their Antibacterial Properties

Owing to its high production volume and wide range of applications, polyethylene has gained a great deal of attention, but its low surface energy and non-polar nature have limited its application in some important fields. In this study, ethylene/11-iodo-1-undecene copolymers were prepared and used as the intermediates to afford a series of imidazolium-based ionomers bearing methanesulfonate (CH3SO3-), trifluoromethanesulfonate (CF3SO3-), or bis(trifluoromethane)sulfonimide (Tf2N-) counteranions. The tensile test results showed that the stress-at-break (7.8-25.6 MPa) and the elongation-at-break (445%-847%) of the ionomers could be adjusted by changing the counterion species and the ionic group contents. Most importantly, the ionomers exhibited marvelous antibacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Escherichia coli (E. coli). The ionomers bearing Tf2N- exhibited antibacterial activities >99% against both S. aureus and E. coli when ionic content reached 9.1%. The imidazolium-based ionomers prepared in this work demonstrated excellent comprehensive properties, especially high-efficient and broad-spectrum antibacterial ability, exhibiting the potential for the application as the antibacterial materials in packaging, medical, and other fields.

Variations, effectiveness and its associated factors of a nationwide web-based hypertension management training project in China: insights from a government-led campaign for 1.2 million lay health workers

OBJECTIVES To evaluate the effectiveness of a large-scale,web-based,in-service hypertension management training project among lay health workers(LHWs)at primary care health(PHC)settings in China,and to examine the factors contributing to the of *** METHODS We used data from a web-based national hypertension management training project implemented in 2018,it was designed to facilitate LHWs to learn,understand,and apply the relevant knowledge and skills in hypertension management through providing training courses by use of the web-based platform with unified *** LHWs were required to parti-cipate in the exams before and after training to acquire scores for the use of evaluating their performance of hypertension man-agement *** first used descriptive analysis to present the variations of effectiveness in hypertension management knowledge among LHWs by important ***,we used multilevel logistic regression to examine the individual regional factors contributing to the variations and quantify the magnitude of how these factors affected training *** RESULTS There were 1,208,610 LHWs who completed training and were ***,the scores of LHWs in-creased significantly from 62.87±21.14 out of 100 in the pre-test to 88.30±11.31 in the post-test by 25.43(95%confidence interval[CI]:25.40-25.47).Training contents involved in antihypertensive medication showed the lowest score(54.36)in the pre-test and soared the most after training,up to 84.22 by 54.94%.Individual factors associated with disparities in the knowledge of hyperten-sion management decreased substantially after training,which included sex,age,education,practice type,professional level,and hierarchy of working *** variations were shown at the provincial level,with the majority of them being ex-by factors at the regional *** CONCLUSIONS Accessible web-based training modality,government efforts,accompanie

High-temperature oxidation behavior of Nb-Si-based alloy with separate vanadium,tantalum,tungsten and zirconium addition

The microstructure and oxidation behavior of directionally solidified(DS) Nb-15 Si-24 Ti-4 Cr-2 Al-2 Hf alloys with separate vanadium,tantalum,tungsten and zirconium additions were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD),electron probe microanalyzer(EPMA) equipped with wave-dispersive spectroscopy(WDS),scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) equipped with an energy-dispersive spectroscopy(EDS).Results show that the five alloys are all composed of primary(Nb,Ti) solid solution((Nb,Ti)ss)phase and eutectic(Nb,Ti)ss/(Nb,Ti)_(5) S_(3) *** oxidation at 1250℃ for 100 h in air,the surfaces of the five alloys are covered by the oxides of Nb_(2)O_(5),TiNb_(2) O_(7),Ti_(2) Nb10O29,TiO_(2) and amorphous SiO_(2).It is found that the alloying elements of V and W are detrimental for oxidation resistance and the addition of Ta has no obvious *** addition obviously benefits the oxidation resistance at high temperature,by decreasing the weight gain from 242.75 to184.83 mg·cm^(-2).The oxidation mechanism of Nb-Sibased alloys and the effects of different alloying elements on the oxidation resistance of Nb-Si-based alloys were discussed.
