Construction of ternary PEG200-based DESs lubrication systems via tailoring tribo-chemistry

Designing novel lubricants with easily customized structures,devisable compositions,and simple and economic synthesis over traditional lubricants is critical to fulfilling complex applications,prolonging machine lifetime,and saving *** eutectic solvents(DESs),which show tunable composition,adjustable structure,easy fabrication,and environmental friendliness,are promising candidates for variable and complicated lubricants *** promote the use of DESs as lubricants,a series of PEG200-based DESs with active heteroatoms were fabricated to tailor the tribological performance via ***,PEG200/boric acid(BA)DES shows optimal lubrication performance by forming tribo-chemical reaction film composited of B2O3,iron oxides,and FeOOH,and PEG200/thiourea(TU)DES displays abrasive wear-reducing property by producing FeS tribo-chemical *** the excellent abrasive wear-resistance of PEG200/TU DES and friction reduction of PEG200/BA DES,ternary PEG200/BA/TU DESs,composited of PEG200/TU DES and PEG200/BA DES,are first *** ternary DESs possess superior wettability and thermal stability,which render them potential *** tests of the ternary DESs demonstrate that synergistic lubrication is achieved by forming a transfer film consisting of FexBy,BN,B2O3,and *** FexBy,BN,and B2O3 increase load bearing of the film,and FeS mitigates severe abrasive *** proposed design philosophy of novel DESs as lubricants opens up a unique realm that is unattainable by traditional DESs lubrication mechanisms and provides a platform to design next-generation DESs lubrication systems.

Clinical nursing value of predictive nursing in reducing complications of pregnant women undergoing short-term massive blood transfusion during cesarean section

A direct electrochemical biosensor for rapid glucose detection based on nitrogen-doped carbon nanocages

Given the increasing number of diabetic patients,rapid and accurate detection of glucose in body fluids is *** study developed a direct electrochemical biosensor for glucose based on nitrogen-doped carbon nanocages(NCNCs).NCNCs possess a large specific surface area of 1395 m^(2)·g^(-1),a high N atomic content of 9.37%and good biocompatibility,which is favorable for enzyme loading and electron *** surface average concentration of electroactive glucose oxidase on NCNCs was 2.82×10^(-10)mol·cm^(-2).The NCNC-based direct electrochemical biosensor exhibited a high sensitivity of 13.7μA·(mmol·L^(-1))^(-1)·cm^(-2),rapid response time of 5 s and an impressive electron-transferrate constant(ks)of 1.87 s^(-1).Furthermore,we investigated an NCNC-based direct electron transfer(DET)biosensor for sweat glucose detection,which demonstrated tremendous promise for non-invasive wearable diabetes diagnosis.

Du Fort-Frankel finite difference method(FDM)was firstly proposed for linear diffusion equations with periodic boundary conditions by Du Fort and Frankel in *** is an explicit and unconditionally von Neumann stable ***,there has been no research work on numerical solutions of nonlinear Schrödinger equations with wave operator by using Du Fort-Frankel-type finite difference methods(FDMs).In this study,a class of invariants-preserving Du Fort-Frankel-type FDMs are firstly proposed for one-dimensional(1D)and two-dimensional(2D)nonlinear Schrödinger equations with wave *** using the discrete energy method,it is shown that their solutions possess the discrete energy and mass conservative laws,and conditionally converge to exact solutions with an order of for ofο(T^(2)+h_(x)^(2)+(T/h_(x))^(2))1D problem and an order ofο(T^(2)+h_(x)^(2)+h_(Y)^(2)+(T/h_(X))^(2)+(T/h_(y))^(2))for 2D problem in ***,τdenotes time-step size,while,hx and hy represent spatial meshsizes in x-and y-directions,***,by introducing a stabilized term,a type of stabilized invariants-preserving Du Fort-Frankel-type FDMs are *** not only preserve the discrete energies and masses,but also own much better stability than original ***,numerical results demonstrate the theoretical analyses.

BACKGROUND The role of Sm-like 5(LSM5)in colon cancer has not been *** this study,we investigated the role of LSM5 in progression of colon cancer and the potential underlying mechanism *** To determine the role of LSM5 in the progression of colon cancer and the potential underlying mechanism *** The Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis database and the Human Protein Atlas website were used for LSM5 expression analysis and prognosis ***-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting were utilized to detect the expression of mRNAs and proteins.A lentivirus targeting LSM5 was constructed and transfected into colon cancer cells to silence LSM5 *** and apoptosis assays were also conducted to evaluate the growth of the colon cancer *** GeneChip assay and bioinformatics analysis were performed to identify the potential underlying mechanism of LSM5 in colon *** LSM5 was highly expressed in tumor tissue and colon cancer cells.A high expression level of LSM5 was related to poor prognosis in patients with colon *** of LSM5 suppressed proliferation and promoted apoptosis in colon cancer *** of LSM5 also facilitates the expression of p53,cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1A(CDKN1A)and tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily 10B(TNFRSF10B).The inhibitory effect of LSM5 knockdown on the growth of colon cancer cells was associated with the upregulation of p53,CDKN1A and *** LSM5 knockdown inhibited the proliferation and facilitated the apoptosis of colon cancer cells by upregulating p53,CDKN1A and TNFRSF10B.

The fast X-ray imaging beamline(BL16U2)at Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF)is a new beamline that provides X-ray micro-imaging capabilities across a wide range of time scales,spanning from 100 ps toμs and *** beamline has been specifically designed to facilitate the investigation of a wide range of rapid phenomena,such as the deformation and failure of materials subjected to intense dynamic *** addition,it enables the study of high-pressure and high-speed fuel spray processes in automotive *** light source of this beamline is a cryogenic permanent magnet undulator(CPMU)that is cooled by liquid *** CPMU can generate X-ray photons within an energy range of 8.7-30 *** beamline offers two modes of operation:monochromatic beam mode with a liquid nitrogen-cooled double-crystal monochromator(DCM)and pink beam mode with the first crystal of the DCM out of the beam *** X-ray imaging methods were implemented in BL16U2:single-pulse ultrafast X-ray imaging,microsecond-resolved X-ray dynamic imaging,millisecond-resolved X-ray dynamic micro-CT,and high-resolution quantitative ***,BL16U2 is equipped with various in situ impact loading systems,such as a split Hopkinson bar system,light gas gun,and fuel spray *** the completion of the final commissioning in 2021 and subsequent trial operations in 2022,the beamline has been officially available to users from 2023.
