The lepidocrocite-type H_(1.07)Ti_(1.73)O_(4) microsized structures with a tap density of 0.88 g·cm^(-3) were prepared through the ion exchange method with K_(0.8)li_(0.27)Ti_(1.73)O_(4) powder as the precursor,and they exhibited good rate performance and outstanding cycle stability as an anode material for lithium ion batteries(liB).The ion exchange method provides favorable conditions for H_(1.07)Ti_(1.73)O_(4) as an anode electrode material for liBs.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)result demonstrates the existence of defects in the nonstoichiometric H1.07Ti1.73O4,which have a beneficial effect on the liB *** electrochemical performance test proves that the half-cell with microsized H_(1.07)Ti_(1.73)O_(4)as the anode electrode can maintain a specific capacity of 129.5 mAh·g^(-1) after 1100 cycles and 101 mAh·g^(-1)after 3000 long cycles at high current densities of 2.0 and 5.0 A·g^(-1),*** addition,the small volume change rate of 3.6%in H_(1.07)Ti_(1.73)O_(4)during li ion insertion was confirmed by real-time in situ transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The liFePO_(4)||H_(1.07)Ti_(1.73)O_(4)full battery exhibits a longterm cycling stability with a specific capacity of73.8 mAh·g^(-1) at a current density of 500 mA·g^(-1) after 200 cycles.

A Case Study:Distribution of Bacterial and Fungal Aerosols in Air-Conditioning Systems in Shaanxi History Museum

In order to investigate the bacteria and fungi aerosol characteristic distribution in HVAC-system and its components at Shaanxi History *** were performed to probe the bacteria and fungi aerosol in HVAC systems,located at Xi'an city,*** results showed that there was fungi growth inside the ventilation ducts,fungi contamination was worse than bacteria,and both of them were distributed into occupied space with the air supply *** dominating genera of fungi was found to be Penicillium *** Aspergillus spp.,which was respectively 46.1% and 20.7% in settling fungi,and the dominating genera of fungi in dust were Cladosporium *** Penicillium spp.,which was 41.8% and 30.1% *** suggests that available measures to improve and control the performance of HVAC-systems such as the maintenance,management and cleaning should be taken to prevent this pollution and to develop strategies to keep this pollution away.

Relationship of plasma creatinine and lactic acid in type 2 diabetic patients without renal dysfunction

Background As one of most widely-used biguanides, metformin can induce the lactic acidosis in patients with renal failure though its incidence is very low. However, lactic acidemia induced by metformin was reported in patients without renal dysfunction. It is unclear that whether lactatemia exists in diabetic patients with normal renal function in Chinese or not and its influencing factors. This study aimed to clarify the influencing factors of lactic acid, and identify a practiced clinical marker to predict the hyperlactacidemia in diabetics with normal renal function. Methods The clinical data and venous blood samples of 1024 type 2 diabetic patients treated with （n=426） or without metformin （n=599） were collected. The lactic acid was assayed by enzyme-electrode method. The biochemical indexes included creatinine （Cr） and hepatase were measured with enzymatic procedures. The lactic acid concentrations of different Cr subgroups were compared, and the correlation and receiver operating characteristic curve analysis were used. Results The mean lactic acid level and the proportion of hyperlactatemia of metformin group were significantly higher than that of non-metformin group （P 〈0.01）, but no lactic acidosis was found in all patients. The correlation and multiple stepwise regression analysis indicated that the correlative factors of lactic acid in turn were Cr, metformin, alanine transferase （ALT）, body mass index （BMI）, Urine albumin （Ualb）, and blood urea nitrogen （BUN） in total patients; and Cr, ALT, BMI and BUN in non-metformin treated patients; Cr and ALT in metformin-group. The lactate concentration increased with the increment of Cr levels, and reached its peak at Cr 111-130 μmol/L, and the optimal cutoff of Cr in predicting hyperlactacidemia was 96.5 μmol/L. Conclusions Metformin can increase the incidence of lactatemia in type 2 diabetic patients without renal dysfunction. Cr, ALT, and BMI are independent associated factors of blood lactic acid levels. Interfacial Zn2+-solvation regulator towards reversible and stable Zn anode

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries （AZIBs） are fundamentally challenged by the instability of the electrode/electrolyte interface,predominantly due to irreversible zinc （Zn） deposition and hydrogen ***,the intricate mechanisms behind the electrochemical discrepancies induced by interfacial Zn2+-solvation and deposition behavior demand comprehensive *** molecules endowed with special functional groups （such as hydroxyl,carboxyl,etc.） have the potential to significantly optimize the solvation structure of Zn2+and regulate the interfacial electric double layer （EDL）.By increasing nucleation overpotential and decreasing interfacial free energy,these functional groups facilitate a lower critical nucleation radius,thereby forming an asymptotic nucleation model to promote uniform Zn ***,this study presents a pioneering approach by introducing trace amounts of n-butanol as solvation regulators to engineer the homogenized Zn （H-Zn） anode with a uniform and dense *** interfacial reaction and structure evolution are explored by in/ex-situ experimental techniques,indicating that the H-Zn anode exhibits dendrite-free growth,no by-products,and weak hydrogen evolution,in sharp contrast to the bare ***,the H-Zn anode achieves a remarkable Zn utilization rate of approximately 20% and simultaneously sustains a prolonged cycle life exceeding 500 ***,the H-Zn//NH4V4O10（NVO） full battery showcases exceptional cycle stability,retaining 95.04%capacity retention after 400 cycles at a large current density of 5 A *** study enlightens solvation-regulated additives to develop Zn anode with superior utilization efficiency and extended operational lifespan.

Low-temperature chlorination roasting technology for the simultaneous recovery of valuable metals from spent liCoO_(2)cathode material

With the continuous increase in the disposal volume of spent lithium-ion batteries(liBs),properly recycling spent liBs has become essential for the advancement of the circular *** study presents a systematic analysis of the chlorination roasting kinetics and proposes a new two-step chlorination roasting process that integrates thermodynamics for the recycling of liB cathode *** activation energy for the chloride reaction was 88.41 kJ/mol according to thermogravimetric analysis–derivative thermogravimetry data obtained by using model-free,model-fitting,and Z(α)function(αis conversion rate).Results indicated that the reaction was dominated by the first-order(F1)model when the conversion rate was less than or equal to 0.5 and shifted to the second-order(F2)model when the conversion rate exceeded *** conditions were determined by thoroughly investigating the effects of roasting temperature,roasting time,and the mass ratio of NH_(4)Cl to liCoO_(2).Under the optimal conditions,namely 400℃,20 min,and NH_(4)Cl/liCoO_(2)mass ratio of 3:1,the leaching efficiency of li and Co reached 99.43% and 99.05%,*** of the roasted products revealed that valuable metals in liCoO_(2)transformed into CoCl_(2) and ***,the reaction mechanism was elucidated,providing insights for the establishment of a novel low-temperature chlorination roasting technology based on a crystal structure *** technology can guide the development of liB recycling processes with low energy consumption,low secondary pollution,high recovery efficiency,and high added value.

Sequence-activated chemiluminescence(CL) technique offers a unique approach to detecting specific biomolecules or cellular events with high sensitivity and spatial resolution. The fundamental principle behind sequence-activated CL probes involves tailoring highly-controllable CL signals in response to specific sequences or events of interest, thus enabling high-contrast signals under complex physiological conditions. This sequential activation could be triggered by enzymes, reactive oxygen species(ROS), biothiols or changes in the microenvironment. These unique sequence-activated CL probes bestow several advantages, including minimal background, deep-tissue penetration, and the ability of non-invasive or minimally invasive detection. The sequence-activated CL techniques represent a significant advancement in molecular imaging and diagnostics. In this mini-review, we focus on the latest developments in sequential CL probes, addressing the technical challenges and discussing the future trajectory by harnessing CL signaling and molecular recognition.

Hypidone hydrochloride(YL-0919)ameliorates functional deficits after traumatic brain injury in mice by activating the sigma-1 receptor for antioxidation

Traumatic brain injury involves complex pathophysiological mechanisms,among which oxidative stress significantly contributes to the occurrence of secondary *** this study,we evaluated hypidone hydrochloride(YL-0919),a self-developed antidepressant with selective sigma-1 receptor agonist properties,and its associated mechanisms and targets in traumatic brain *** experiments to assess functional deficits were followed by assessment of neuronal damage through histological analyses and examination of blood-brain barrier permeability and brain ***,we investigated the antioxidative effects of YL-0919 by assessing the levels of traditional markers of oxidative stress in vivo in mice and in vitro in HT22 ***,the targeted action of YL-0919 was verified by employing a sigma-1 receptor antagonist(BD-1047).Our findings demonstrated that YL-0919 markedly improved deficits in motor function and spatial cognition on day 3 post traumatic brain injury,while also decreasing neuronal mortality and reversing blood-brain barrier disruption and brain ***,YL-0919 effectively combated oxidative stress both in vivo and in *** protective effects of YL-0919 were partially inhibited by *** results indicated that YL-0919 relieved impairments in motor and spatial cognition by restraining oxidative stress,a neuroprotective effect that was partially reversed by the sigma-1 receptor antagonist ***-0919 may have potential as a new treatment for traumatic brain injury.

Plasmonic tandem heterojunctions enable high-efficiency charge transfer for broad spectrum photocatalytic hydrogen production

Rational engineering of semiconductor photocatalysts for efficient hydrogen production is of great significance but still challenging,primarily due to the limitations in charge transfer ***,a fascinating plasmonic tandem heterojunction with the hc-CdS/Mo2C@C heterostructure is aimfully prepared for effectively promoting the charge separation kinetics of the CdS photocatalyst via the synergistic strategy of phase junction,Schottky junction,and photothermal *** difference in atomic configuration between cubic-CdS （c-CdS） and hexagonal-CdS （h-CdS） leads to effective charge separation through a typical Ⅱ charge transfer mechanism,and plasmonic Schottky junction further extracts the electrons in the hc-CdS phase junction to realize gradient charge ***,the photothermal effect of Mo2C@C helps to expand the light absorption,accelerate charge transfer kinetics,and reduce the hydrogen evolution energy *** carbon layer provides a fast channel for charge transfer and protects the photocatalyst from *** a result,the optimized hc-CMC photocatalyst exhibits a significantly high photocatalytic H2production activity of 28.63 mmol/g/h and apparent quantum efficiency of 61.8%,surpassing most of the reported *** study provides a feasible strategy to enhance the charge transfer kinetics and photocatalytic activity of CdS by constructing plasmonic tandem heterogeneous junctions.
