研发新型海堤护坡结构对守护人民生命安全、提高海堤工程稳定性具有重要意义。针对钱塘江河口潮流强劲,而传统海堤护面光滑,难以对强大冲击浪进行有效缓冲的工程问题,设计研发了一种具有双曲弧面结构的海堤护坡结构,采用室内水力试验和数值模拟等手段对其防浪效果、压强分布特征进行分析。研究结果表明,新型海堤护面结构通过有效引导、改变冲击浪的流向及流态,既能起到较好的消能作用,又能增强钱塘江大潮的观景效果,为复杂水流条件下海堤护坡结构设计提供了新的工程思路。

Aging is a natural physiological process with various challenges, related to the loss of homeostasis within the organism, which is not a disease, but a significantly strong risk factor for multiple diseases, including myocardial infarction, stroke, some age-related cancers, macular degeneration, osteoarthritis, neurodegeneration, and many others. In the body, the main manifestation of aging is cellular aging, which exists within tissues and has a local or global impact on tissue function. However, the lack of effective aging detection tools has always been an issue that cannot be ignored in the field of aging research. Therefore,it is necessary to construct a non-invasive tool for in vivo detection of aging. Here, we show that the photoacoustic probe(LGAL), which has peak excitation and emission wavelengths in the near-infrared optical window, binds in vivo and at high contrast to the hallmark of aging, and allows for the microscopic imaging of aging through the intact mice. Firstly, this tool LGAL has been successfully applied to detect senescence in cells, displaying stronger photoacoustic signals than normal cells. Then, by using the photoacoustic probe, the blood vessels and tissues inside the mice can be visualized. Young and elderly mice exhibit varying intensities of photoacoustic signals, marking the first time a probe has been used to explore the aging of blood vessels and tissues inside the mice. Finally, we monitored the changes in the degree of aging during tumor treatment under photoacoustic(PA) imaging for the first time. As the treatment time increased, the degree of aging of the tumor gradually deepened. We expect the powerful tool could be a noninvasive and powerful tool for the study of aging biology.

Based on the fact that it is challenging for the polymer flexible circuit substrates to meet the requirements of serving in high-temperature environments,this work proposed the idea of using printable ceramic fiber paper as a high-temperature flexible circuit substrate.A ceramic fiber paper with all ceramic components had been developed via electrospinning,solving the problems of low strength and severe strength drop at high temperatures of traditional ceramic fiber paper.The tensile strength of the prepared ceramic fiber paper is 2.63 MPa,and the reliable service temperature is 1200℃.Its bulk density is about 1.5 times that of traditional ceramic fiber paper.It can be printed with patterns by commercial inkjet printers like ordinary printing paper and has excellent printability.The feasibility of ceramic fiber paper as a flexible circuit substrate was verified by constructing a simple circuit.When the fiber paper is significantly bent,the circuit still forms a complete path,which proves that it has a strong application potential for high-temperature flexible circuit substrate and is expected to promote the development of flexible electronic devices serving at extreme high-temperature environments.

Elevated CO_(2) increases soil redox potential by promoting root radial oxygen loss in paddy field

Soil redox potential(Eh)plays an important role in the biogeochemical cycling of soil nutrients.Whereas its effect soil process and nutrients'availability under elevated atmospheric CO_(2) concentration and warming has seldom been investigated.Thus,in this study,a field experiment was used to elucidate the effect of elevated CO_(2) concentration and warming on soil Eh,redox-sensitive elements and root radial oxygen loss(ROL).We hypothesized elevated CO_(2) and warming could alter soil Eh by promoting or inhibiting ROL.We found that soil Eh in the rhizosphere was significantly higher than that of non-rhizosphere.Elevated CO_(2) enhanced soil Eh by 11.5%,which corresponded to a significant decrease in soil Fe^(2+)and Mn^(2+)concentration.Under elevated CO_(2),the concentration of Fe^(2+)and Mn^(2+)decreased by 14.7%and 13.7%,respectively.We also found that elevated CO_(2) altered rice root aerenchyma structure and promoted rice root ROL.Under elevated CO_(2),rice root ROL increased by 79.5%and 112.2%for Yangdao 6 and Changyou 5,respectively.Warming had no effect on soil Eh and rice root ROL.While warming increased the concentration of Mn^(2+)and SO_(4)^(2-)by 4.9%and 19.3%,respectively.There was a significant interaction between elevated CO_(2) and warming on Fe^(2+)and Mn^(2+).Under elevated CO_(2),warming had no effect on the concentration of Fe^(2+)but decreased Mn^(2+)concentration significantly.Our study demonstrated that elevated atmospheric CO_(2) in the future could increase soil Eh by promoting rice root ROL,which will alter some soil nutrients'availability,such as Fe^(2+)and Mn^(2+).

With increasing drilling depth and large dosage of weighting materials,drilling fluids with high solid content are characterized by poor stability,high viscosity,large water loss,and thick mud cake,easier leading to reservoir damage and wellbore instability.In this paper,micronized barite(MB)was modified(mMB)by grafting with hydrophilic polymer onto the surface through the free radical polymerization to displace conventional API barite partly.The suspension stability of water-based drilling fluids(WBDFs)weighted with API barite:mMB=2:1 in 600 g was significantly enhanced compared with that with API barite/WBDFs,exhibiting the static sag factor within 0.54 and the whole stability index of 2.The viscosity and yield point reached the minimum,with a reduction of more than 40%compared with API barite only at the same density.Through multi-stage filling and dense accumulation of weighting materials and clays,filtration loss was decreased,mud cake quality was improved,and simultaneously it had great reservoir protection performance,and the permeability recovery rate reached 87%.In addition,it also effectively improved the lubricity of WBDFs.The sticking coefficient of mud cake was reduced by 53.4%,and the friction coefficient was 0.2603.Therefore,mMB can serve as a versatile additive to control the density,rheology,filtration,and stability of WBDFs weighted with API barite,thus regulating comprehensive performance and achieving reservoir protection capacity.This work opened up a new path for the productive drilling of extremely deep and intricate wells by providing an efficient method for managing the performance of high-density WBDFs.

Background Although transient ischemic attacks （TIA） is a clinical diagnosis, imaging findings are important for its diagnosis and treatment. This study evaluated the value and limitations of conventional CT, CT cerebral perfusion imaging and transcranial Doppler sonography （TCD） in patients with TIA. Methods Conventional CT, CT cerebral perfusion imaging and TCD were performed in 20 patients with TIA. After regular CT examination, d-0-second dynamic scans were performed on selected slice, while 40 ml of nonionic contrast materials was bolus-injected through antecubital vein with power injector. These dynamic images were processed with the perfusion software package on workstation. Cerebral blood flow （CBF） and time to peak （3~FP） were measured in specific regions of the brain. TCD was also performed in 20 patients with TIA. Comparative analysis was made on the basis of the results of conventional CT, CT cerebral perfusion imaging and TCD.Results In the 20 patients with TIA, conventional CT turned out to be normal. However, persisting abnormal perfusion changes corresponding to clinical symptoms were found in 13 cases with the prolonged TFP. The other 7 cases were normal. TFP of the affected side （ 11.6 ± 3.0） s was significantly prolonged （ t =4. 782 ,P 〈0. 01 ） in comparison with the contralateral side （8.8 ± 1.5 ） s. The difference in CBF was not statistically significant （t = 1. 912, P =0. 073） between the affected side [ （223.9 ±19.6） ml ·min^-1 ·L^-1 ] and the contralateral side [ （227.7 ± 19. 8） ml · min^-1· L^-1 ] . TCD revealed severe stenosis or occlusion of the carotid artery in 10 patients, arteriosclerosis in 6 patients, blood speed decrease in 2 patients, vasospasm in 1 patient. Conclusions Conventional CT can exclude intracerebral diseases. Perfusion CT provides valuable hemodynamic information and shows the extent of perfusion disturbances.
