Du Fort-Frankel finite difference method(FDM)was firstly proposed for linear diffusion equations with periodic boundary conditions by Du Fort and Frankel in *** is an explicit and unconditionally von Neumann stable ***,there has been no research work on numerical solutions of nonlinear Schrödinger equations with wave operator by using Du Fort-Frankel-type finite difference methods(FDMs).In this study,a class of invariants-preserving Du Fort-Frankel-type FDMs are firstly proposed for one-dimensional(1D)and two-dimensional(2D)nonlinear Schrödinger equations with wave *** using the discrete energy method,it is shown that their solutions possess the discrete energy and mass conservative laws,and conditionally converge to exact solutions with an order of for ofο(T^(2)+h_(x)^(2)+(T/h_(x))^(2))1D problem and an order ofο(T^(2)+h_(x)^(2)+h_(Y)^(2)+(T/h_(X))^(2)+(T/h_(y))^(2))for 2D problem in ***,τdenotes time-step size,while,hx and hy represent spatial meshsizes in x-and y-directions,***,by introducing a stabilized term,a type of stabilized invariants-preserving Du Fort-Frankel-type FDMs are *** not only preserve the discrete energies and masses,but also own much better stability than original ***,numerical results demonstrate the theoretical analyses.

lithium-sulfur battery is one of the most promising battery systems for industrialization due to its high theoretical specific capacity and high energy ***,the??shuttle effect??has restrained the advancement of lithium-sulfur *** this work,a gradient-structured nanofiber membrane with pure gelatin on one side and Super P-MoO2/MoS2-gelatin on the other side was created using a multi-step electrostatic spinning technique,which was applied for multi-functional separator for lithium-sulfur *** pure gelatin layer facing the anode side primarily homogenizes the lithium flux,whereas the Super P-MoO2/MoS2-gelatin layer facing the cathode side primarily adsorbs polysulfides by physical and chemical adsorption and enhancing polysulfide conversion *** findings demonstrate that even after 150 cycles at 0.2C,the lithium-sulfur battery can still sustain a discharge-specific capacity of 572.3 mAh·*** used with li||li symmetric batteries,it has a cycle life of more than 1200 *** commercialization of lithium-sulfur batteries is given a fresh idea by this straightforward preparation technique.

Microplastics(MPs)have become a significant concern for their potential ***,the correlation between the size of plastic particles and their toxicity remains ***,we investigate the toxic effects of different sizes(80 nm,800 nm,8μm and 80μm)polystyrene MPs(PS-MPs)on the model organism Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus).The results of bioluminescent imaging indicate that the 80 nm PS-MPs are more likely to invade the body.H&E staining shows severe damage on the intestinal villi and distinct hepatic steatosis in the 80 nm *** U labeling shows that the proliferation activity of intestinal and liver cells reduces significantly in the 80 nm *** gut microbiome analysis shows a severe imbalance of gut microbiota homeostasis in the 80 nm *** analysis of liver transcriptomics and metabolomics shows that the liver lipid metabolism is disordered in the 80 nm *** conclusion,this study confirms that the 80 nm PS-MPs are more likely to induce intestinal and liver *** the above lay the foundation for further study on the pathological damage of MPs to other organisms.

In this work,a new method to solve the Reynolds equation including mass-conserving cavitation by using the physics informed neural networks(PINNs)is *** complementarity relationship between the pressure and the void fraction is *** are several difficulties in problem solving,and the solutions are ***,the difficulty for considering the pressure inequality constraint by PINNs is solved by transferring it into one equality constraint without introducing *** the void fraction inequality constraint is considered by using the hard constraint with the max-min ***,to avoid the fluctuation of the boundary value problems,the hard constraint method is also utilized to apply the boundary pressure values and the corresponding functions are ***,for avoiding the trivial solution the limitation for the mean value of the void fraction is *** results are validated against existing data,and both the incompressible and compressible lubricant are *** agreement can be found for both the domain and domain boundaries.

Chiral hybrid metal halides with high photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)and superior dissymmetry factor(g_(lum))are promising candidates for circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)emitting ***,it is a great challenge to achieve both high g_(lum)and large ***,we report a new supramolecular strategy to fabricate chiral hybrid Cu(Ⅰ)-halides with nearunity quantum yields and intense CPL *** dissymmetry factor can be dramatically modulated by tuning the hostguest *** to the chirality and variable conformations of the host-guest complexes,a series of chiral[G@L^(R/S)]_(2)Cu_(4)I_(6)have been *** incorporation of different cations within the chiral L^(R/S)hosts leads to variations of packing modes along the c-axis and different extent of distortions in the[Cu_(4)I_(6)]_(2)-*** them,[H_(3)O@L^(R/S)]+cations are stacked based on Van der Waals interactions and hierarchically self-assemble into a right/left-handed helix in[H_(3)O@L^(R/S)]_(2)Cu_(4)I_(6),which results in a high g_(lum)of-7×10^(-3)and a large PLQY of 96.92%.Notably,[G@L^(R/S)]_(2)Cu_(4)I_(6)shows promising applications in single-component white light emitting diodes(WLEDs),exhibiting a maximum dissymmetry factor of-1.2×10^(-3).The effective host-guest complexation and oriented hierarchical self-assembly provide an effective strategy for the development of high-performance CPL materials.

Microstructure and mechanical properties of Co-28Cr-6Mo-0.22C investment castings by current solution treatment

This study examined the impact of current solution treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the Co-28Cr-6Mo-0.22C alloy investment *** findings reveal that the current solution treatment significantly promotes the dissolution of carbides at a lower *** optimal conditions for solution treatment are determined as a solution temperature of 1,125°C and a holding time of 5.0 *** these parameters,the size and volume fraction of precipitated phases in the investment castings are measured as6.2μm and 1.1vol.%.The yield strength,ultimate tensile strength,and total elongation of the Co-28Cr-6Mo-0.22C investment castings are 535 MPa,760 MPa,and 12.6%,*** values exceed those obtained with the conventional solution treatment at 1,200°C for 4.0 *** findings suggest a phase transformation of M_(23)C_(6)→σ+C following the current solution treatment at 1,125°C for 5.0 *** comparison,the traditional solution treatment at 1,200°C for 4.0 h leads to the formation of M_(23)C_(6)and M_(6)C *** is noteworthy that the non-thermal effect of the current during the solution treatment modifies the free energy of both the matrix and precipitation *** modification lowers the phase transition temperature of the M_(23)C_(6)→σ+C reaction,thereby facilitating the dissolution of *** a result,the current solution treatment approach achieves carbide dissolution at a lower temperature and within a significantly shorter time when compared to the traditional solution treatment methods.

Seawater electrolysis is an effective way to obtain hydrogen(H_(2))in a sustainable ***,the lack of electrocatalysts with high activity,stability,and selectivity for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)severely hinders the development of seawater electrolysis ***,sulfur-doped nickel-iron selenide nanosheets(S-NiFeSe_(2))were prepared by an ion-exchange strategy and served as highly active OER electrocatalyst for alkaline seawater *** overpotential is 367 m V,and it can run stably for over 50 h at 100 m A cm^(-2).Excitingly,the S-NiFeSe_(2)||Pt/C pair exhibits cell voltage of 1.54 V at 10 m A cm^(-2)under alkaline seawater conditions,which can run smoothly for 100 h without decay,and the efficiency of electricity-tohydrogen(ETH)energy conversion reaches more than 80%.Such electrode,with abundant accessible reactive sites and good corrosion resistance,is a good candidate for seawater ***,density functional theory calculations reveal that the surface sulfur atoms can activate the adjacent Ni sites and decrease the free energy changes of the associated intermediates at the adjacent Ni sites for OER,and the step of~*OH→~*O is the potential rate-limiting *** this work,the true reactive site in nickel-iron selenides is the Ni sites,but not the Fe sites as commonly believed.
