White mold of pea caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum is a common disease in ***,we discovered that the diverse Sclerotinia species could cause white mold on pea plants in Chongqing and Sichuan of China during recent disease ***,the objective of this study was to confirm the causal agents from diseased pea *** obtained isolates of white mold from Chongqing and Sichuan were identified by morphological characters and molecular characterization to determine the pathogen species,and their pathogenicity was confirmed on pea through completing Koch’s *** isolates of Sclerotinia-like were obtained from diseased plants or *** on morphological characteristics and molecular characterization,30 isolates were identified to three species,six isolates as ***,seven as ***,and 17 as *** pathogenicity tests on pea cultivars Zhongwan 4 and Longwan 1,all 30 isolates caused typical symptoms of white mold on the inoculated plants,and the inoculated pathogens were re-isolated from the diseased *** study confirmed that white mold of pea was caused by three Sclerotinia species,***,*** and *** in Chongqing and *** is the first report that *** and *** cause white mold of pea in Southwest China.

Atomically dispersed catalysts have been widely studied due to their high catalytic activity and atom ***-atom catalysts have achieved breakthrough progress in the degradation of emerging organic contaminants(EOCs)by activating peroxymonosulfate(PMS).However,the construction of atomically dispersed catalysts with diatomic/multiatomic metal active sites by activating PMS to degrade pollutants is still seldom reported,despite the unique merits of atom-pair in synergistic electronic modulation and breaking stubborn restriction of scaling relations on catalytic *** have synthesized Fe1-N-C,Fe_(2)-N-C,and Fe_(3)-N-C catalysts with monoatomic iron,diatomic iron,and triatomic iron active center,*** results show that the catalytic degradation activity of Fe_(2)-N-C is twice that of Fe1-N-C and Fe_(3)-N-C due to its unique Fe_(2)N6 coordination structure,which fulfilled the complete degradation of rhodamine B(RhB),bisphenol A(BPA),and 2,4-dichlorophenol(2,4-DP)within 2 *** paramagnetic resonance(EPR)and radical quenching experiments confirmed that the reaction was a nonradical reaction on the catalyst *** singlet oxygen and Fe(IV)are the key active species.

Lead spall velocity of fragments of ultra-high-performance concrete slabs under partially embedded cylindrical charge-induced explosion

When an explosion occurs close to or partially within the face of a concrete structure, fragments are rapidly launched from the opposite face of the structure owing to concrete spalling, posing a significant risk to nearby personnel and equipment. To study the lead fragment velocity of ultra-high-performance concrete(UHPC), partially embedded explosion experiments were performed on UHPC slabs of limited thickness using a cylindrical trinitrotoluene charge. The launch angles and velocities of the resulting fragments were the determined using images collected by high-speed camera to document the concrete spalling and fragment launching process. The results showed that UHPC slabs without fiber reinforcement had a fragment velocity distribution of 0-118.3 m/s, which are largely identical to that for a normal-strength concrete(NSC) slab. In addition, the fragment velocity was negatively correlated to the angle between the velocity vector and vertical direction. An empirical Eq. for the lead spall velocity of UHPC and NSC slabs was then proposed based on a large volume of existing experimental data.

The Xuhuai fold thrust belt(XHTB)is a curved structure in the southeastern margin of the North China Craton(NCC)that has attracted great attentions due to its tectonic and petrological ***,few geophysical studies have focused on the deep structure of this *** this study,we carry out a systematic demonstration of the main geophysical features that characterize the XHTB and surrounding *** results reveal small negative gravity and magnetic anomalies,thin crust and lithosphere,lower shear velocity and shallower earthquake epicenters relative to other areas of the NCC,collectively indicating a lithospheric-scale rheological anomaly at this *** magnetic alignments show a trend similar to that of geological units in southeastern NCC and adjacent areas,although they differ from the SKS-splitting fast polarization directions,except in the Qinling-Dabie orogen where a vertical coherent deformation of the crust and mantle may be involved *** on the geophysical data,we propose a detachment-controlled model,which was caused by the different detachment depth/strength,for the formation of XHTB to explain its arcuate shape as well as the magnetic alignments,thus providing new insight into the deep processes of southeastern NCC.

Recently,Lee et *** the experimental discovery of room-temperature ambient-pressure super-conductivity in a Cu-doped lead-apatite(LK-99)(arXiv:2307.12008,arXiv:2307.12037).Remarkably,the claimed superconductivity can persist up to 400 K at ambient *** the experimental im-plication,the electronic structure of LK-99 has not yet been ***,we investigate the electronic structures of LK-99 and its parent compound using first-principles calculations,aiming to elucidate the doping effects of *** results reveal that the parent compound Pb_(10)(PO_(4))_(6)O is an insulator,while Cu doping induces an insulator-metal transition and thus volume *** band structures of LK-99 around the Fermi level are featured by a half-filled flat band and a fully-occupied flat *** two very flat bands arise from both the 2p orbitals of 1/4-occupied O atoms and the hybridization of the 3d orbitals of Cu with the 2p orbitals of its nearest-neighboring O ***,we observe four van Hove singularities on these two flat ***,we show that the flat band structures can be tuned by including electronic correlation effects or by doping different *** find that among the considered doping elements(Ni,Cu,Zn,Ag,and Au),both Ni and Zn doping result in the gap opening,whereas Au exhibits doping effects more similar to Cu than *** work establishes a foundation for fu-ture studies to investigate the role of unique electronic structures of LK-99 in its claimed superconducting properties.

The peaks of exciton and biexciton from the single quantum dot(QD)micro-photoluminescence spectra are identified by observing the intensity of those peaks in relation to increasing excitation *** order to further verify the properties of the exciton and biexciton,we perform auto-and cross correlation *** the former,we confirm the antibunching property of the signal light emitted from the single *** cross correlation measurement,we verify that the exciton and biexciton emissions originate from the same QD and they are strongly correlated with each ***,we analyze the behavior of the cross correlation function in both the cases of saturated and unsaturated excitation of the QD.

Based on the theory of elastic wave propagation in saturated soil subgrade established by the author of this paper, the axisymmetric vertical vibration of a rigid circular foundation resting on partially saturated soil subgrade which is composed of a dry elastic layer and it saturated substratum is studied. The analysis relied on the use of integral transform techniques and a pair of dual integral equations governing the vertical vibration of the rigid foundation is listed under the consideration of mixed boundary-value condition. The results tire reduced to the case for saturated half-space. The set of dual integral equations are reduced to a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind and solved by numerical procedures, Numerical examples are given at the end of the paper and plots of the dynamic compliance coefficient C-b versus the dimensionless frequency a(0) are presented.

Enhanced pyrocatalysis of the pyroelectric BiFeO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) heterostructure for dye decomposition driven by cold–hot temperature alternation

The BiFeO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) heterostructure,which is fabricated via a simple mixing–calcining method,benefits the significant enhancement of the pyrocatalytic *** the growth of g-C_(3)N_(4) content in the heterostructure pyrocatalysts from 0 to 25%,the decomposition ratio of Rhodamine B(RhB)dye after 18 cold-hot temperature fluctuation(25-65℃)cycles increases at first and then decreases,reaching a maximum value of~94.2%at 10%while that of the pure BiFeO_(3) is~67.7%.The enhanced dye decomposition may be due to the generation of the internal electric field which strengthens the separation of the positive and negative carriers and further accelerates their *** intermediate products in the pyrocatalytic reaction also have been detected and confirmed,which proves the key role of the pyroelectric effect in realizing the dye decomposition using BiFeO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) heterostructure *** pyroelectric BiFeO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) heterostructure shows the potential application in pyrocatalytically degrading dye wastewater.
