Members of Veratrum are perennial herbs widely used in traditional Chinese medicine to induce vomiting,resolve blood stasis and relieve ***,the intrageneric classification and phylogenetic relationships within Veratrum have long been controversial due to the complexity of morphological variations and lack of high-resolution molecular *** this study,we reevaluated the infrageneric relationships with the genus Veratrum using complete chloroplast genome sequence ***,the complete cp genomes of ten species of Veratrum were newly sequenced and *** complete cp genomes of ten species of Veratrum had the typical quadripartite structure,ranging from 151,597 bp to 153,711 bp in size and comprising a total of 135 *** structure of Veratrum cp genomes(i.e.,gene order,content,and genome components)was highly similar across *** number of simple sequence repeats(SSRs)ranged from 63 to 7&and of long repeats ranged from 31 to *** highly divergent regions(ndhF,psbC-psbZ,psbK-psbl,rpoB-tmCjGCA,tmK_UUU-tmQ_UUG,tmS_GCU-tmG_UCC,tmT_UGU-tmL_UAA and ycfl)were identified and are potentially useful for the DNA barcoding of *** analysis among 29 taxa based on cp genomes,total genes,protein-coding genes and intergenic regions strongly supported the monophyly of *** circumscription and relationships of the infrageneric taxa of Veratrum were well-presented with great *** results will facilitate the identification,taxonomy,and utilization of Veratrum plants as well as the evolutionary studies of Melanthiaceae.

In December 2019, a new type viral pneumonia cases occurred in Wuhan, Hubei Province;and then named "2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV)" by the World Health Organization(WHO) on 12 January 2020. For it is a never been experienced respiratory disease before and with infection ability widely and quickly, it attracted the world’s attention but without treatment and control manual. For the request from frontline clinicians and public health professionals of 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia management, an evidence-based guideline urgently needs to be developed. Therefore, we drafted this guideline according to the rapid advice guidelines methodology and general rules of WHO guideline development;we also added the first-hand management data of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. This guideline includes the guideline methodology, epidemiological characteristics, disease screening and population prevention, diagnosis, treatment and control(including traditional Chinese Medicine), nosocomial infection prevention and control, and disease nursing of the 2019-nCoV. Moreover, we also provide a whole process of a successful treatment case of the severe 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia and experience and lessons of hospital rescue for 2019-nCoV infections. This rapid advice guideline is suitable for the first frontline doctors and nurses, managers of hospitals and healthcare sections, community residents, public health persons, relevant researchers, and all person who are interested in the 2019-nCoV.

Background: Nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC) is most common head and neck cancer in Southeast Asia. Because local recurrence and distant metastasis are still the main causes of NPC treatment failure, it is urgent to identify new tumor markers and therapeutic targets for advanced NPC. Methods: RNA-seq was applied to look for interchromosome translocation in NPC. PCR, FISH and immunoprecipitation were used to examine the fusion gene expression at RNA, DNA, and protein levels in NPC biopsies. MTT assay, colony formation assay, sphere formation assay, co-IP, ChIP assay, and in vivo chemoresistance assay were applied to explore the function of RARS-MAD1 L1 in NPC. Results: We demonstrated that RARS-MAD1 L1 was present in 10.03%(35/349) primary NPC biopsies and 10.7%(9/84) in head and neck cancer(HNC) samples. RARS-MAD1 L1 overexpression increased cell proliferation, colony formation, and tumorigenicity in vitro, and the silencing of endogenous RARSMAD1 L1 reduced cancer cell growth and colony formation in vitro. Additionally, RARS-MAD1 L1 increased the side population(SP) ratio and induced chemo-and radio-resistance. Furthermore RARSMAD1 L1 interacted with AIMP2, which resulted in activation of FBP1/c-Myc pathway. The silencing of FUBP1 or the administration of a c-Myc inhibitor abrogated the cancer stem cell(CSC)-like characteristics induced by RARS-MAD1 L1. The expression of c-Myc and ABCG2 was higher in RARS-MAD1 L1 positive HNC samples than in negative ***: Taken together, our findings indicate that RARS-MAD1 L1 might contribute to tumorigenesis, CSC-like properties and therapeutic resistance, at least in part, through the FUBP1/c-Myc axis, implying that RARS-MAD1 L1 might serve as an attractive target for therapeutic intervention for NPC.

We present the observational results from a detailed timing analysis of the black hole candidate EXO 1846-031 during its outburst in 2019 with the observations of Insight-HXMT,NICER and *** outburst can be classified roughly into four different ***-C quasi-periodic oscillations(QPOs)observed by NICER(about 0.1-6 Hz)and Insight-HXMT(about 0.7-8 Hz)are also reported in this ***,we study various physical quantities related to QPO *** QPO rms-frequency relationship in the energy band 1-10 keV indicates that there is a turning pointing in frequency around2 Hz,which is similar to that of GRS 1915+105.A possible hypothesis for the relationship above may be related to the inclination of the source,which may require a high inclination to explain *** relationships between QPO frequency and QPO rms,hardness,total fractional rms and count rate have also been found in other transient sources,which can indicate that the origin of type-C QPOs is non-thermal.

目的观察Ghrelin对糖尿病大鼠海马神经元凋亡及其认知功能的影响。方法 40只雄性SD大鼠随机均分为对照组、糖尿病组、糖尿病+Ghrelin组和糖尿病+Ghrelin+D-lys3-GHRP-6组,每组10只。建立STZ糖尿病模型,open-field实验排除合并抑郁症的糖尿病大鼠,Morris水迷宫测试学习与记忆能力,RT-PCR检测海马caspase-3mRNA的表达,免疫组化检测海马神经元caspase-3和BCL-xl蛋白表达,原位末端标记法检测海马神经元的凋亡。结果与对照组大鼠相比,糖尿病组和糖尿病+Ghrelin+D-lys3-GHRP-6组学习与记忆能力显著受损(Plin组学习和记忆成绩明显优于糖尿病组(Plin对糖尿病大鼠认知功能有改善作用,机制可能与下调caspase-3、上调BCL-xl的表达从而抑制神经元的凋亡有关。
