Due to the thermal depolarization effect,adequate piezoelectric performance with high operating temperature is regarded to be challenging to accomplish concurrently in piezoceramics for applications in specific piezoelectric *** this work,we synthesized(0.8−x)BiFeO_(3)-x PbTi_(3)-0.2Ba(Zr_(0.25)Ti_(0.75))O_(3)(abbreviated as BFO-x PT-BZT)ternary solid solutions with 0.15≤x≤0.30 by conventional solid-state reaction *** MPB composition with a coexisting state of rhombohedral-tetragonal phases exhibits enhanced electromechanical properties,including Curie temperature of 380℃,large-signal equivalent piezoelectric coefficient d^(∗)_(33)of 395 pm V^(-1),small-signal piezoelectric coefficient d_(33)of 302 pC N^(-1),and electromechanical coupling factor k_(p)of 50.2%,which is comparable to commercial PZT-5A ceramics,indicating potential in high-temperature ***,in-situ X-ray diffraction(XRD)and piezoelectric force microscopic(PFM)techniques demonstrate that multiphase coexistence and complex nanodomains promote piezoelectric response via *** x=0.24 composition exhibits the highest in-situ d_(33)of 577 pC N^(-1)and good temperature stability in 30−280℃,indicating that BZT-modified BFO-PT ceramics are promising candidates for high-temperature piezoelectric devices.

Climate change significantly impacts human health,exacerbating existing health inequalities and creating new *** study addresses the lack of systematic review in this area by analyzing 2440 publications,focusing on four key terms:health,disparities,environmental factors,and climate *** inclusion criteria limited the selection to English-language,peer-reviewed articles related to climate health hazards,ensuring the relevance and rigor of the synthesized *** process synthesized 65 relevant *** investigation revealed that recent research,predominantly from developed countries,has broadened its scope beyond temperature-related impacts to encompass diverse climate hazards,including droughts,extreme weather,floods,mental health issues,and the intersecting effects of Coronavirus Disease *** has highlighted exposure as the most studied element in the causal chain of climate change-related health inequalities,followed by adaptive capability and inherent *** most significant vulnerabilities were observed among populations with low socioeconomic status,ethnic minorities,and *** study further reveals research biases and methodological limitations,such as the paucity of attention to underdeveloped regions,a narrow focus on non-temperature-related hazards,challenges in attributing climate change effects,and a deficit of large-scale empirical *** findings call for more innovative research approaches and a holistic integration of physical,socio-political,and economic dimensions to enrich climate-health discourse and inform equitable policy-making.

AIM:To evaluate the effect of low-degree astigmatism on objective visual quality through the Optical Quality Analysis System(OQAS).METHODS:This study enrolled 46 participants(aged 23 to 30y,90 eyes)with normal or corrected-to-normal *** cylindrical lenses(0,0.5,0.75,1.0,and 1.25 D)were placed at the axial direction(180°,45°,90°,and 135°)in front of the eyes with the best correction to form 16 types of regular low-degree *** was used to detect the objective visual quality,recorded as the objective scattering index(OSI),OQAS values at contrasts of 100%,20%,and 9%predictive visual acuity(OV100%,OV20%,and OV9%),modulation transfer function cut-off(MTFcut-off)and Strehl ratio(SR).The mixed effect linear model was used to compare objective visual quality differences between groups and examine associations between astigmatic magnitude and objective visual quality ***:Apparent negative relationships between the magnitude of low astigmatism and objective visual quality were *** increase of OSI per degree of astigmatism at 180°,45°,90°,and 135°axis were 0.38(95%CI:0.35,0.42),0.50(95%CI:0.46,0.53),0.49(95%CI:0.45,0.54)and 0.37(95%CI:0.34,0.41),*** decrease of MTFcut-off per degree of astigmatism at 180°,45°,90°,and 135°axis were-10.30(95%CI:-11.43,-9.16),-12.73(95%CI:-13.62,-11.86),-12.75(95%CI:-13.79,-11.70),and-9.97(95%CI:-10.92,-9.03),*** the same astigmatism degree,OSI at 45°and 90°axis were higher than that at 0°and 135°axis,while MTFcut-off were ***:Low astigmatism of only 0.50 D can significantly reduce the objective visual quality.

Coastal wetlands are hotspots for nitrogen(N)cycling,and crab burrowing is known to transform N in intertidal marsh ***,the underlying mechanisms remain *** study conducted field experiments and used indoor control test devices to investigate the seasonal response of nitrogen to crab disturbance at the sediment-water interface in coastal tidal flat *** results showed that crab disturbance exhibited significant seasonality with large seasonal differences in cave density and *** to crab disturbance,nitrogen fuxes at the sediment-water interface were much greater in the box with crabs than in the box without *** summer,NH-N showed a positive flux from the sediment to the overlying water,but NO2-N and NOg-N showed positive fluxes from the sediment to the overlying water only in early *** winter,NH-N showed a positive flux from the sediment to the overlying water,but NO-N and NO,-N both exhibited positive and negative *** results indicated that the presence of crab burrows can cause the aerobic layer to move downward by approximately 8-15 cm in summer and directly promote nitrification at the sediment surface.

Objective: To determine whether monotropein has an anticancer effect and explore its potential mechanisms against colorectal cancer(CRC) through network pharmacology and molecular docking combined with experimental verification. Methods: Network pharmacology and molecular docking were used to predict potential targets of monotropein against CRC. Cell counting kit assay, plate monoclonal assay and microscopic observation were used to investigate the antiproliferative effects of monotropein on CRC cells HCT116, HT29 and LoVo. Flow cytometry and scratch assay were used to analyze apoptosis and cell cycle, as well as cell migration, respectively in HCT116, HT29, and LoVo cells. Western blotting was used to detect the expression of proteins related to apoptosis, cell cycle, and cell migration, and the expression of proteins key to the Akt pathway. Results: The Gene Ontology and Reactome enrichment analyses indicated that the anticancer potential of monotropein against CRC might be involved in multiple cancer-related signaling pathways. Among these pathways, RAC-beta serine/threonine-protein kinase(Akt1, Akt2), cyclin-dependent kinase 6(CDK6), matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP9), epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR), cell division control protein 42 homolog(CDC42) were shown as the potential anticancer targets of monotropein against CRC. Molecular docking suggested that monotropein may interact with the 6 targets(Akt1, Akt2, CDK6, MMP9, EGFR, CDC42). Subsequently, cell activity of HCT116, HT29 and LoVo cell lines were significantly suppressed by monotropein(PlinD1, CDK4 and CDK6, inhibited cell migration by suppressing the expressions of CDC42 and MMP9(Pling pathway. Diabetic cardiomyopathy, marked by dysregulation of lipid metabolism leading to cardiac remodeling and dysfunction, highlights the critical need for balancing fatty acid transport(Karwi et al. 2022; van de Weijer et al. 2011). CD36 stands as the predominant fatty acid transporter within cardiomyocytes, and its function is intricately tied to its expression and localization(Glatz and Luiken 2018; Shu et al. 2022). Despite recent progress in elucidating the mechanisms behind CD36's hyperactivity, strategies to manage its localization are still emerging.
