Photo-stimuli responsive materials show great potential in the fields of information encryption and storage due to their distinctive spatial or temporal color ***,the conventional single or multi-color static outputs by light stimulus difficulty meet practical requirements for high-security optical storage ***,a novel dynamic irradiation-responsive phosphor of Na_(2)Ba_(2)Si_(2)O_(7):Eu is demonstrated,exhibiting high storage stability and convenient readout *** inherent Eu^(2+)luminescence can be dynamically tuned,instantly read out,and conveniently erased by controlling irradiation duration of a portable diode laser(365 nm).The modulation mechanism is unraveled by optically induced oxidation reactions of Eu^(2+)→Eu^(3+)and defects as killer *** excellent luminescence modulation degree(ΔR_(t)=89.5%)and the accompanying larger color contrast enable the creation of invisible optical codes with multi-level encryption in bright or dark *** results indicate potential applications of Na_(2)Ba_(2)Si_(2)O_(7):-based materials in information encryption and invisible optical storage,and are expected to expand more investigations on optically induced PL modulation behaviors based on mixed valences and defects.

Layered double hydroxide(LDH)is regarded as an advanced platform material in catalysis and attracts vast attrition *** a kind of two-dimensional layered material,it exhibits great advantages including cation-tunability in layer,lattice limitation,topological transformation,ion exchange and intercalation *** also can be used as building blocks for composite catalytic *** 100 years,a large number of works have been accomplished and researchers made great progress on investigating the LDH-based catalytic *** this review,we summarize representative achievements and significant progress in recent years,which mainly include constructing high entropy catalytic material,high dispersion/stability and interfacial supported catalytic material,composite catalytic materials and nano-reactor based on ***,through collecting the excellent works,we conclude the future development potential of LDH and provide a perspective.

Attempts have been made to use cell transplantation and biomaterials to promote cell proliferation,differentiation,migration,and survival,as well as angiogenesis,in the context of brain ***,whether bioactive materials can repair the damage caused by ischemic stroke by activating endogenous neurogenesis and angiogenesis is still *** this study,we applied chitosan gel loaded with basic fibroblast growth factor to the stroke cavity 7 days after ischemic stroke in *** gel slowly released basic fibroblast growth factor,which improved the local microenvironment,activated endogenous neural stem/progenitor cells,and recruited these cells to migrate toward the penumbra and stroke cavity and subsequently differentiate into neurons,while enhancing angiogenesis in the penumbra and stroke cavity and ultimately leading to partial functional *** study revealed the mechanism by which bioactive materials repair ischemic strokes,thus providing a new strategy for the clinical application of bioactive materials in the treatment of ischemic stroke.

The composite of Ti matrix with TiB whisker reinforcement has been successfully fabricated. The content of TiB whisker in Ti matrix can reach about 30 vol. pet. Metallographic examination, morphology and microstructure of TiB whisker, interface structure between TiB whisker and Ti matrix were investigated using optical microscope, SEM, TEM and HREM technology. The diameter distribution of TiB whisker is from 0.1 mu m to 3.5 mu m and the aspect ratio of TiB whisker is from 10 to 20. The cross-section of whisker is generally polygon. Because of good compatibility between TiB whisker and Ti matrix it is identified that there is no obvious interaction of Ti matrix with TiB reinforcement and TiB whisker reinforced Ti matrix composites have excellent elevated properties.

We previously reported that miR-124-3p is markedly upregulated in microglia-derived exosomes following repetitive mild traumatic brain ***,its impact on neuronal endoplasmic reticulum stress following repetitive mild traumatic brain injury remains *** this study,we first used an HT22 scratch injury model to mimic traumatic brain injury,then co-cultured the HT22 cells with BV2 microglia expressing high levels of *** found that exosomes containing high levels of miR-124-3p attenuated apoptosis and endoplasmic reticulum ***,luciferase reporter assay analysis confirmed that miR-124-3p bound specifically to the endoplasmic reticulum stress-related protein IRE1α,while an IRE1αfunctional salvage experiment confirmed that miR-124-3p targeted IRE1αand reduced its expression,thereby inhibiting endoplasmic reticulum stress in injured ***,we delivered microglia-derived exosomes containing miR-124-3p intranasally to a mouse model of repetitive mild traumatic brain injury and found that endoplasmic reticulum stress and apoptosis levels in hippocampal neurons were significantly *** findings suggest that,after repetitive mild traumatic brain injury,miR-124-3 can be transferred from microglia-derived exosomes to injured neurons,where it exerts a neuroprotective effect by inhibiting endoplasmic reticulum ***,microglia-derived exosomes containing miR-124-3p may represent a novel therapeutic strategy for repetitive mild traumatic brain injury.

Emerging research suggests a potential association of progression of Alzheimer's disease(AD)with alterations in synaptic currents and mitochondrial ***,the specific associations between these pathological changes remain *** this study,we utilized Aβ42-induced AD rats and primary neural cells as in vivo and in vitro *** investigations included behavioural tests,brain magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS)analysis,Nissl staining,thioflavin-S staining,enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,Golgi-Cox staining,transmission electron microscopy(TEM),immunofluorescence staining,proteomics,adenosine triphosphate(ATP)detection,mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP)and reactive oxygen species(ROS)assessment,mitochondrial morphology analysis,electrophysiological studies,Western blotting,and molecular *** results revealed changes in synaptic currents,mitophagy,and mitochondrial dynamics in the AD ***,intervention with Dengzhan Shengmai(DZSM)capsules emerged as a pivotal element in this investigation.Aβ42-induced synaptic dysfunction was significantly mitigated by DZSM intervention,which notably amplified the frequency and amplitude of synaptic *** cognitive impairment observed in AD rats was ameliorated and accompanied by robust protection against structural damage in key brain regions,including the hippocampal CA3,primary cingular cortex,prelimbic system,and dysgranular insular *** intervention led to increased IDE levels,augmented long-term potential(LTP)amplitude,and enhanced dendritic spine density and ***,DZSM intervention led to favourable changes in mitochondrial parameters,including ROS expression,MMP and ATP contents,and mitochondrial *** conclusion,our findings delved into the realm of altered synaptic currents,mitophagy,and mitochondrial dynamics in AD,concurrently highlighting the therapeutic potential of DZSM intervention.
