In this paper,an effective target locating approach based on the fingerprint fusion posi-tioning(FFP)method is proposed which integrates the time-difference of arrival(TDOA)and the received signal strength according to the statistical variance of target position in the stationary 3D *** FFP method fuses the pedestrian dead reckoning(PDR)estimation to solve the moving target localization *** also introduce auxiliary parameters to estimate the target motion ***,we can locate the static pedestrians and track the the moving *** the case study,eight access stationary points are placed on a bookshelf and hypermarket;one target node is moving inside hypermarkets in 2D and 3D scenarios or stationary on the *** compare the performance of our proposed method with existing localization algorithms such as k-nearest neighbor,weighted k-nearest neighbor,pure TDOA and fingerprinting combining Bayesian frameworks including the extended Kalman filter,unscented Kalman filter and particle fil-ter(PF).The proposed approach outperforms obviously the counterpart methodologies in terms of the root mean square error and the cumulative distribution function of localization errors,espe-cially in the 3D *** results corroborate the effectiveness of our proposed approach.

Mode decision-maker is a critical component in the logic-based Integrated Estimation and Guidance(IEG) system. For the best possible estimation and guidance performance, the mode decision delay of the mode decision-maker should be limited to a range as small as possible. This paper presents a numerical method for computing the maximal admissible mode decision delay that varies with time-to-go. Particular attention has been paid to highly maneuvering target interception in terminal guidance. The results of this research offer useful guidelines for the design of the mode decision-maker in IEG systems.

The ability to extract state-estimates for each target of a multi-target posterior, referred to as multi-estimate extraction(MEE), is an essential requirement for a multi-target filter, whose key performance assessments are based on accuracy, computational efficiency and reliability. The probability hypothesis density(PHD) filter, implemented by the sequential Monte Carlo approach,affords a computationally efficient solution to general multi-target filtering for a time-varying number of targets, but leaves no clue for optimal MEE. In this paper, new data association techniques are proposed to distinguish real measurements of targets from clutter, as well as to associate particles with measurements. The MEE problem is then formulated as a family of parallel singleestimate extraction problems, facilitating the use of the classic expected a posteriori(EAP) estimator, namely the multi-EAP(MEAP) estimator. The resulting MEAP estimator is free of iterative clustering computation, computes quickly and yields accurate and reliable estimates. Typical simulation scenarios are employed to demonstrate the superiority of the MEAP estimator over existing methods in terms of faster processing speed and better estimation accuracy.

An investigation on reducing low-grade manganese dioxide ore pellets was carried out by using wheat stalk as reductant. The main impact factors of reduction percent such as particle size, biomass/ore ratio, heating rate, nitrogen flow rate, temperature and time in reduction process were discussed. The morphology and component of manganese dioxide ore particle at different stages were also analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). The results show the increase of the reduction temperature and time, biomass/ore ratio, and the decrease of particle size, heating rate and nitrogen flow rate can significantly enhance reduction efficiency. The reduction kinetic of the manganese ore is controlled by three-dimensional mass diffusion of gaseous reductive volatiles passing from the surface to the core of the ore particles. The activation energy E and frequency factor A were calculated to be 24.15 ***^-1 and 166 min^-1, respectively. Biomass pyrolysis volatiles adsorbed onto the surface of the ore particle leads to serious variation of the microstructures and chemical composition of the manganese ore particles.
