In this paper, we present the compensated stochastic θ method for stochastic age-dependent delay population systems（SADDPSs） with Poisson jumps. The definition of mean-square stability of the numerical solution is given and a sufficient condition for mean-square stability of the numerical solution is derived. It is shown that the compensated stochastic θ method inherits stability property of the numerical solutions. Finally,the theoretical results are also confirmed by a numerical experiment.

BACKGROUND： The Glasgow Coma Scale, computer tomography, and nuclear magnetic resonance imaging have been frequently used to diagnose brain injury. However, these methods do not accurately and quantitatively evaluate injury degree. However, proteomics displays some advantages. To date, there are few proteomics studies based on primary astrocyte cultures from a fluid percussion injury model. OBJECTIVE： To detect differential protein expression in rat cerebral cortical astrocytes following fluid percussion injury using two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and mass spectrum and to determine specific biological markers of brain injury. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING： Complete, randomized grouping and proteomics experiments were performed at the Molecular Pathological Laboratory, Central Laboratory and Tianjin Key Laboratory for Biomarkers of Occupational and Environmental Hazard of Medical College of Chinese People＇s Armed Police Force from October 2007 to May 2008. MATERIALS： Inverted phase-contrast microscope was purchased from Olympus, Japan. PROTEAN IEF Cell isoelectric focusing electrophoresis system and PROTEAN II Xi-Cell vertical electrophoresis system were purchased from Bio-Rad, USA. Autofiex MALDI-TOF mass spectrometer was purchased from Bruker, Germany. METHODS： A total of 90 culture dishes, fully coated with Sprague Dawley rat cortical astrocytes, were randomly divided into control （n = 30） and injury （n = 60） groups. Astrocytes in the injury group were subjected to fluid percussion and subdivided into 4-hour （n = 30） and 48-hour injury （n = 30） groups. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES： Cell morphology was observed using inverted phase-contrast microscopy. Cell total protein was extracted from each group, followed by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and silver staining, and the differential protein expression was analyzed using PDQuest 7.0 software. Investigation on the urea deposit formation and thermal decomposition characteristics in the SCR aftertreatment system of a diesel engine

Selective catalytic reduction is the most efficient and reliable equipment for NOx control in current diesel engines. However, the issue of urea crystallization becomes increasingly serious with the implement of the new emissions standards. In this paper, urea deposit samples collected from engine test bed and tube furnace were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis and Fourier transform-infrared analysis to aid the comprehension of urea deposit formation. Moreover, thermogravimetric tests were conducted to disclose the effects of catalyst on the thermal decomposition processes of urea deposit. The results indicated that less temperature resistant species are formed in the engine test bed than in the tube furnace at conditions with the same temperatures. The main compositions in the World Harmonized Transient Cycle(WHTC) urea deposits are urea, cyanuric acid(CYA) and ammelide, implying that accelerating the decomposition of these species could prevent the accumulation of urea deposit. CuWTi, Cu β and CuZSM catalysts could lead to increased yield of CYA during pure urea thermolysis. Cu β, CuWTi and VWTi catalysts tend to promote the thermolysis of CYA while VWTi has the most significant catalytic effects on the thermal decomposition of ammelide and ammeline.

Development of a high-speed digital pulse signal acquisition and processing system based on MTCA for liquid scintillator neutron detector on EAST

In this experimental study, involving deuterium–deuterium fusion neutron emission spectroscopy measurement on the experimental advanced superconducting tokamak(EAST), a liquid scintillator detector(BC501 A) was employed. This decision was based on the detector's superior sensitivity, optimal time-response, and its exceptional n–γ discrimination capability. This detector emits fast pulse signals that are as narrow as 100 ns, with high count rates that can peak at several Mcps. However, conventional nuclear circuits faced challenges in performing pulse height analysis, n–γ pulse shape discrimination, and in recording the entire pulse waveform under such high count rate conditions. To address these challenges, a high-speed digital pulse signal acquisition and processing system was designed. The system was developed around a micro-telecommunications computing architecture. Within this structure, a signal acquisition and processing(SAQP) module communicated through PCI Express links, achieving a bandwidth of up to 1.6 GB/s. To accurately capture the detailed shape of the pulses, four channels of analog-to-digital converters were used, each with a 500-MSPS sampling rate and a 14-bit resolution, ensuring an accuracy that surpassed 11 bits. An n–γ discrimination algorithm, based on the two-gate integral method, was also developed. Implemented within field programmable gate arrays, this algorithm provided a real-time n–γ discrimination spectrum for pulse height analysis. The system underwent rigorous testing in a laboratory setting and during an EAST experiment. The results confirmed that the innovative SAQP system can satisfy the demanding requirements of high-parameter experiments, manage count rates of up to 2 Mcps, execute real-time n–γ discrimination algorithms, and record entire pulse waveforms without any data loss.

The present work extends the search of Jacobi elliptic function solutions for the multi-component modified Korteweg-de Vries equations. When the modulum m →1, those periodic solutions degenerate as the corresponding solitary wave and shock wave ones. Especially, exact solutions for the three-component system are presented in detail and graphically.

The Present Research and Prospect of Chinese Geosciences History

It has been over a hundred years since the birth of research on Chinese geosciences history, which was accompanied by the continuous progress of Chinese geosciences. For hundreds of years, it has grown out of nothing to brilliant performance by several generations of Chinese geologists committing their hearts and minds with the spirit of exert and strive without stop to promote the process of China＇s industrialization and to produce the significant impact on serving the society. The study of Chinese geosciences history reflects objectively and historically the history of geosciences in China, which has recorded, analyzed and evaluated the dynamic process sitting in the background and clue of the history of Chinese geosciences development. The study of the history of geological science has roughly experienced two stages in China. The first stage is the study of individual researchers. It spanned approximately 70 years from the early 20th century to the end of the 1970s. The research contents were mainly based on the evolution of geological organizations, the development and utilization of individual mineral species, the history of deposit discovery and the research of geological characters. The main representatives are zhang Hongzhao, Ding Wenjiang, Weng Wenhao and li Siguang, Ye liangfu, Huang Jiqing, Yang Zhongjian, Xie Jiarong, Gao Zhenxi, Wang Bingzhang and etc. The most prominent feature of this period is the accumulation of a very valuable document for the study of the history of China＇s geological history and lays a foundation for the exchange of geological science between China and foreign countries. The second stage is organized group study. It took around 60 years from the 1920s to 1980s. Design,Fabrication and Experiments of an Anthropomorphic Finger with Combined Compliant Joints

Fingers are the basic components of anthropomorphic *** present,most anthropomorphic fingers utilize rigid joints,which have obvious fabrication and assembly complexities as well as limited flexibility and ***,some anthropomorphic fingers were attempted to utilize compliant joints learned from bioinspiration,but they have a limited self-resetting ability and lateral deformation resistance,as well as occupying a large space and having a non-anthropomorphic *** this paper,nine compliant joints for anthropomorphic fingers were analyzed using Finite Element Analysis(FEA),based on which two combined compliant joints were proposed,and the optimal one was obtained through FEA and *** anthropomorphic finger that embeds parts of the compliant joint into the adjacent phalanxes was then ***,the anthropomorphic finger was fabricated and experiments were *** results show that the anthropomorphic finger with the proposed combined compliant joints has a better self-resetting ability and lateral deformation resistance while ensuring a large range of motion similar to that of the human finger,and the required actuating force is ***,the embedded joint structure can reduce the occupied space of the joint so as to improve the anthropomorphic appearance of the finger,and enhance its lateral deformation resistance.

When f(·) is known, we investigate the asymptotic normality for wavelet estimators of β and g(·) under {ei, 1 ≤ i ≤ n} is a sequence of identically distributed α-mixing errors;when f(·) is unknown, the asymptotic normality for wavelet estimators of β, g(·) and f(·) are established under independent errors. A simulation study is provided to illustrate the feasibility of the theoretical result that the authors derived.
