Alignment efficient image-sentence retrieval considering transferable cross-modal representation learning

Traditional image-sentence cross-modal retrieval methods usually aim to learn consistent representations of heterogeneous modalities,thereby to search similar instances in one modality according to the query from another modality in *** basic assumption behind these methods is that parallel multi-modal data(i.e.,different modalities of the same example are aligned)can be obtained in *** other words,the image-sentence cross-modal retrieval task is a supervised task with the alignments as ***,in many real-world applications,it is difficult to realign a large amount of parallel data for new scenarios due to the substantial labor costs,leading the non-parallel multi-modal data and existing methods cannot be used *** the other hand,there actually exists auxiliary parallel multi-modal data with similar semantics,which can assist the non-parallel data to learn the consistent ***,in this paper,we aim at“Alignment Efficient Image-Sentence Retrieval”(AEIR),which recurs to the auxiliary parallel image-sentence data as the source domain data,and takes the non-parallel data as the target domain *** single-modal transfer learning,AEIR learns consistent image-sentence cross-modal representations of target domain by transferring the alignments of existing parallel ***,AEIR learns the image-sentence consistent representations in source domain with parallel data,while transferring the alignment knowledge across domains by jointly optimizing a novel designed cross-domain cross-modal metric learning based constraint with intra-modal domain adversarial ***,we can effectively learn the consistent representations for target domain considering both the structure and semantic ***,extensive experiments on different transfer scenarios validate that AEIR can achieve better retrieval results comparing with the baselines.

As one of the essential steps to secure government data sharing,Identity Authentication(IA)plays a vital role in the processing of large ***,the centralized IA scheme based on a trusted third party presents problems of information leakage and single point of failure,and those related to key ***,herein,an effective IA model based on multiattribute centers is ***,a private key of each attribute of a data requester is generated by the attribute authorization *** obtaining the private key of attribute,the data requester generates a personal private ***,a dynamic key generation algorithm is proposed,which combines blockchain and smart contracts to periodically update the key of a data requester to prevent theft by external attackers,ensure the traceability of IA,and reduce the risk of privacy ***,the combination of blockchain and interplanetary file systems is used to store attribute field information of the data requester to further reduce the cost of blockchain information storage and improve the effectiveness of information *** results show that the proposed model ensures the privacy and security of identity information and outperforms similar authentication models in terms of computational and communication costs.

Human cognition is usually underpinned by intrinsic structure and functional neural co-activation in spatially distributed brain *** to lacking an effective approach to quantifying the covarying of structure and functional responses,how the structural–functional circuits interact and how genes encode the relationships,to deepen our knowledge of human cognition and disease,are still ***,we propose a multimodal covariance network(MCN)construction approach to capture interregional covarying of the structural skeleton and transient functional activities for a single *** further explored the potential association between brain-wide gene expression patterns and structural–functional covarying in individuals involved in a gambling task and individuals with major depression disorder(MDD),adopting multimodal data from a publicly available human brain transcriptomic atlas and 2 independent *** analysis showed a replicable cortical structural–functional fine map in healthy individuals,and the expression of cognition-and disease phenotype-related genes was found to be spatially correlated with the corresponding MCN *** analysis of cell type-specific signature genes suggests that the excitatory and inhibitory neuron transcriptomic changes could account for most of the observed correlation with task-evoked MCN differences.

Canopy temperature strongly influences crop yield formation and is closely related to plant physiological ***, the effects of nitrogen treatment on canopy temperature and rice growth have yet to be comprehensively examined. We conducted a two-year field experiment with three rice varieties(HD-5, nj-9108, and YJ-805) and three nitrogen treatments(zero-N control(CK), 200 kg ha~(–1)(MN), and 300 kg ha~(–1)(HN)). We measured canopy temperature using a drone equipped with a high-precision camera at the six stages of the growth period. Generally,canopy temperature was significantly higher for CK than for MN and HN during the tillering, jointing, booting, and heading stages. The temperature was not significantly different among the nitrogen treatments between the milky and waxy stages. The canopy temperature of different rice varieties was found to follow the order: HD-5>nj-9108>YJ-805, but the difference was not significant. The canopy temperature of rice was mainly related to plant traits, such as shoot fresh weight(correlation coefficient r=–0.895), plant water content(–0.912), net photosynthesis(–0.84), stomatal conductance(–0.91), transpiration rate(–0.90), and leaf stomatal area(–0.83). A structural equation model(SEM) showed that nitrogen fertilizer was an important factor affecting the rice canopy *** study revealed:(1) A suite of plant traits was associated with the nitrogen effects on canopy temperature,(2) the heading stage was the best time to observe rice canopy temperature, and(3) at that stage, canopy temperature was negatively correlated with rice yield, panicle number, and grain number per panicle. This study suggests that canopy temperature can be a convenient and accurate indicator of rice growth and yield prediction.

Cinnamomi Cortex was a material as medicinal and edible resources and it has been demonstrated that Cinnamomi Cortex aqueous extract(CCAE)possess hypoglycemic effect,but there were no active compounds identified as quality standard of CCAE to be used in the investigate of hypoglycemic ***,in this study,the quality standard and the hypoglycemic effect of CCAE were *** and coumarin as the quality control in CCAE were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)*** results showed that the average yield of extraction was 10.06%.The concentration of coumarin was linear with peak area ranging from 0.02–1.00μg/mL(r=0.9996,n=6)and that of cinnamaldehyde also demonstrated a good linear relationship with peak area in the range of 1.05–52.50μg/mL(r=0.9997,n=6).The average recovery rate of coumarin and cinnamaldehyde was 99.42%and 100.11%,*** investigation of hypoglycemic effect revealed that CCAE could improve weight loss,lower liver and pancreas indices,improve organ damage caused by diabetes,and lower fasting blood glucose,glycosylated serum protein(GSP)and total cholesterol(TC)*** results showed that CCAE can reduce fasting blood glucose and blood lipid levels in diabetic mice.

The implementation of early and accurate detection of aircraft cargo compartment fire is of great significance to ensure flight *** current airborne fire detection technology mostly relies on single-parameter smoke detection using infrared *** often results in a high false alarm rate in complex air transportation *** traditional deep learning model struggles to effectively address the issue of long-term dependency in multivariate fire *** paper proposes a multi-technology collaborative fire detection method based on an improved transformers ***-wavelength optical sensors,flue gas analyzers,and other equipment are used to carry out multi-technology collaborative detection methods and characterize various feature dimensions of fire to improve detection *** improved Transformer model which integrates the self-attention mechanism and position encoding mechanism is applied to the problem of long-time series modeling of fire information from a global perspective,which effectively solves the problem of gradient disappearance and gradient explosion in traditional RNN(recurrent neural network)and CNN(convolutional neural network).Two different multi-head self-attention mechanisms are used to classify and model multivariate fire information,respectively,which solves the problem of confusing time series modeling and classification modeling in dealing with multivariate classification tasks by a single attention ***,the output results of the two models are fused through the gate *** research results show that,compared with the traditional single-feature detection technology,the multi-technology collaborative fire detection method can better capture fire *** with the traditional deep learning model,the multivariate fire pre-diction model constructed by the improved Transformer can better detect fires,and the accuracy rate is 0.995.

In recent years,research has focused heavily on the investigation of functionalized ammonium polyphosphate(APP)flame retardants to improve the fire safety of epoxy resins(EP).The reason for this is the dual nature of APP's performance in fire protection of *** article provides a comprehensive overview of the advances in the use of functionalized APP flame retardants to improve the fire resistance of EP *** then presents the improvement of the modification of the functionalized APP flame retardants in terms of the hydrophobicity,compatibility and catalytic ability of the flame retardants,as well as the effects on the fire resistance,heat resistance,smoke reduction and mechanical properties of the EP *** the summary and comparison of the relevant studies,it is clear that the functionalized APP flame retardants can effectively improve the fire safety of EP composites and offset the adverse effects of APP in EP flame retardant *** addition,APP flame retardants can obtain various excellent functions through the use of materials with different properties,and the interaction between APP and materials can also lead to more efficient fire ***,the current problem is to find ways to streamline the process and minimise the costs associated with functionalized APP flame retardants,as well as to use them effectively in industrial *** hope that this review can provide valuable hints and insights for the practical application of functionalized APP in EP and perspectives for future research.

Crystal oscillators（XOs） provide a high-precision reference frequency but have a long startup time,which severely increases the average power consumption in duty-cycled systems. This paper proposes a fully-digital low-cost two-step injection（TSI） technique, by using a successive approximation register（SAR） based auto frequency control（AFC） loop, to speed up the startup behavior of XOs. A theoretical analysis is carried out to determine the optimum injection time and design low-power XOs. Fabricated in a 65 nm CMOS process, the proposed 12 MHz fast startup XO occupies an active area of 0.02 mm2and achieves a startup time less than 35 μs. The XO power consumption in the steady state is 40 μW from a 1.0-V supply, with a startup energy of 17.2 nj.
