The intention of this fundamental work is to explore the manipulation of a mixture of benzene,toluene and o-xylene separated from liquid-only transfer divided-wall column(LTS-DWC).First,two control structures are clearly proposed,including seven component control loops(CS1)and seven temperature control loops(CS2).However,two control structures can handle ±10% feed disturbances rather than larger feed ***,an equivalent four-column model by introducing withdraw ratio is developed to discuss the effect of two liquid-only side-stream on the overall reboiler *** is indicated that the second liquid-only side-stream withdraw ratio strongly affects the overall energy ***,six-component control loops within the fixed second liquid-only side-stream withdraw ratio(CS3)is proposed and the purity of products returns to set value even as facing ±20% feed ***,based on the above results,it is established a temperature control structure(CS4)for controlling fixed second liquid-only side-stream withdraw ratio,which can cope with ±15% *** by these findings,an insight into the dynamic control of LTS-DWC promotes the industrial implementation of DWC through new liquid-only side-stream configurations.

Early selection is an important method to shorten the breeding cycle for tree species, which may differ in the time for early selection. To evaluate the early selected time for Larix kaempferi, tree height and diameter at breast height of 57 L. kaempferi clones were measured over many different growth years. The results indicated that, except for age × clone interaction for diameter at breast height （P = 0.741）, there were significant differences among all variation sources （P 〈 0.01）. The coefficient of phenotypic variation ranged from 14.89 to 35.65% for height and from 19.17 to 23.86% for diameter at breast height in different growth years. The repeatability of height and of diameter at breast height among clones was high, ranging from 0.6181 to 0.8531 （height） and from 0.8443 to 0.8497 （diameter at breast height）, in different growth years. There were significant positive correlations between all pairs of growth traits except between height in the 2nd growth year and height in the 30th growth year; and between height in the 2nd growth year × diameter at breast height in the 30th growth year. With a comprehen- sive evaluation method and a selection ratio of 10%, L65, L1, L62, L9, L15, and L78 were selected as excellent clones in the 30th growth year. Their average values of height and diameter at breast height were 9.81 and 16.57% higher than the overall average, representing genetic gains of 6.46 and 13.99%, respectively. This study provides a theoretical foundation for the genetic improvement of L. kaempferi.

Originating but free from chromosomal DNA,extrachromosomal circular DNAs(eccDNAs)are organized in circular form and have long been found in unicellular and multicellular *** biogenesis and function are poorly understood as they are characterized by sequence homology with linear DNA,for which few detection methods are *** advances in high-throughput sequencing technologies have revealed that eccDNAs play crucial roles in tumor formation,evolution,and drug resistance as well as aging,genomic diversity,and other biological processes,bringing it back to the research *** mechanisms of eccDNA formation have been proposed,including the breakage-fusion-bridge(BFB)and translocation-deletion-amplification *** tumors and disorders of embryonic and fetal development are major threats to human reproductive *** roles of eccDNAs in these pathological processes have been partially elucidated since the first discovery of eccDNA in pig sperm and the double minutes in ovarian cancer *** present review summarized the research history,biogenesis,and currently available detection and analytical methods for eccDNAs and clarified their functions in gynecologic tumors and *** also proposed the application of eccDNAs as drug targets and liquid biopsy markers for prenatal diagnosis and the early detection,prognosis,and treatment of gynecologic *** review lays theoretical foundations for future investigations into the complex regulatory networks of eccDNAs in vital physiological and pathological processes.

The random distributed-feedback fiber laser(RFL) is a new approach to obtain a high-power stable supercontinuum(SC) *** consider both structure simplification and high-power SC output,an innovative structure achieving a kilowatt-level SC output in a single-stage RFL with a half-open cavity is demonstrated in this *** consists of a fiber oscillator,a piece of long passive fiber and a broadband coupler,among which the broadband coupler acting as a feedback device is crucial in SC *** the system has no feedback,the backward output power is up to298 W under the pump power of 1185 *** the feedback is introduced before the pump laser,the backward power loss can be reduced and the pump can be fully utilized,which could promote forward output power and conversion efficiency *** the maximum pump power of 1847 W,a 1300 W SC with spectrum ranging from 887 to1920 nm and SC conversion efficiency of 66% is *** the best of our knowledge,it is the simplest structure used for high-power SC generation,and both the generated SC output power and the conversion efficiency are highest in the scheme of the half-opened RFL output SC.

The discovery of clinically useful targets to treat specific pathological conditions can provide novel therapeutic *** unbiasedly identify key genes related to tumor metastasis,we developed a random gene perturbation method using a piggyBac transposon system under the control of a doxycycline regulated *** this random gene perturbation method and utilizing a mouse model of metastatic pancreatic cancer,we identified genes dysregulated in metastasized cells from a random mutagenesis library after multiple rounds of in vivo *** of these metastasized clones revealed the downregulation of ARPC1B *** further mechanistic studies revealed that ARPC1B gene and its closely related gene ARPC1A worked in a regulatory loop to control tumor *** findings validate that piggyBac transposon mediated random gene perturbation is a powerful tool to investigate the functional relevance of novel genes and the ARPC1A/B axis is a potential key regulator of tumor metastasis.
