Integrating Audio-Visual Features and Text Information for Story Segmentation of News Video

Video data are composed of multimodal information streams including visual, auditory and textual streams, so an approach of story segmentation for news video using multimodal analysis is described in this paper. The proposed approach detects the topic-caption frames, and integrates them with silence clips detection results, as well as shot segmentation results to locate the news story boundaries. The integration of audio-visual features and text information overcomes the weakness of the approach using only image analysis techniques. On test data with 135 400 frames, when the boundaries between news stories are detected, the accuracy rate 85.8% and the recall rate 97.5% are obtained. The experimental results show the approach is valid and robust.

We presents a vapor online monitor system model of vapor power station developed by visual tool rational rose 2000. Use cases such as on line instrument (onlineinstr), control, query, report, real database (realdb) and alarm are generated according to the system requirements. Use case view and class view of the system are formed at the same time. As for all the UML models of the system, this paper focuses the discussion on the class view, the component diagram of the control class and the sequence diagram of the query class. Corresponding C++ codes are produced and finally transferred into the spot running software.

Pulsar search is always the basis of pulsar navigation,gravitational wave detection and other research ***,the volume of pulsar candidates collected by the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST)shows an explosive growth rate that has brought challenges for its pulsar candidate filtering ***,the multi-view heterogeneous data and class imbalance between true pulsars and non-pulsar candidates have negative effects on traditional single-modal supervised classification *** this study,a multi-modal and semi-supervised learning based on a pulsar candidate sifting algorithm is presented,which adopts a hybrid ensemble clustering scheme of density-based and partition-based methods combined with a feature-level fusion strategy for input data and a data partition strategy for *** on both High Time Resolution Universe SurveyⅡ(HTru2)and actual FAST observation data demonstrate that the proposed algorithm could excellently identify pulsars:On HTru2,the precision and recall rates of its parallel mode reach0.981 and 0.988 *** FAST data,those of its parallel mode reach 0.891 and 0.961,meanwhile,the running time also significantly decreases with the increment of parallel nodes within ***,we can conclude that our algorithm could be a feasible idea for large scale pulsar candidate sifting for FAST drift scan observation.

An unsupervised clustering\|based intrusion detection algorithm is discussed in this paper. The basic idea of the algorithm is to produce the cluster by comparing the distances of unlabeled training data sets. With the classified data instances, anomaly data clusters can be easily identified by normal cluster ratio and the identified cluster can be used in real data detection. The benefit of the algorithm is that it doesn't need labeled training data sets. The experiment concludes that this approach can detect unknown intrusions efficiently in the real network connections via using the data sets of KDD99.

Most described Mesozoic ants belong to stem groups that existed only during the Cretaceous ***,the earliest known crown ants were dated to the Turonian(Late Cretaceous,ca.94-90 million years ago(Ma))deposits found in the USA,Kazakhstan,and ***,the recent discovery of an alate male ant in Kachin amber from the earliest Cenomanian(ca.99 Ma),representing a new genus and species,Antiquiformica alata,revises the narrative on ant *** can be distinctly differentiated from all known male stem ants by its geniculate antennae with elongated scape,extending far beyond the occipital margin of the head and half the length of the funiculus,as well as its partly reduced forewing ***,the combination of a one-segmented waist with a well-developed node,elongated scape extending beyond the occipital margin,and reduced forewing venation,particularly the completely reduced m-cu and rs-m crossveins and absence of rm and mcu closed cells,firmly places the fossil within the extant subfamily *** transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)confirmed that the amber containing Antiquiformica alata originated from the Kachin mines in *** discovery significantly revises our understanding of the early evolution of *** presence of Antiquiformica in Cenomanian amber indicates that the subfamily Formicinae emerged at least by the start of the Late Cretaceous,with crown ants likely originating earlier during the earliest Cretaceous or possibly the Late Jurassic,although paleontological evidence is lacking to support the latter hypothesis.

Knowledge reduction is an important issue when dealing with huge amounts of data. And it has been proved that computing the minimal reduct of decision system is NP-complete. By introducing heuristic information into genetic algorithm, we proposed a heuristic genetic algorithm. In the genetic algorithm, we constructed a new operator to maintaining the classification ability. The experiment shows that our algorithm is efficient and effective for minimal reduct, even for the special example that the simple heuristic algorithm can’t get the right result.

This study investigated the effect of antioxidants on the grinding efficiency,magnetic powder characteristics,microstructure,and magnetic properties of 2.1. type SmCo permanent magnet *** results show that adding antioxidants helps improve the dispersion among magnetic powders,leading to a 33.3%decrease in jet milling time and a 15.8%increase in magnet powder production ***,adding antioxidants enhances the oxidation resistance of the magnetic *** being stored in a constant temperature air environment at 25C for 48 h,the O content in the powder decreased by 33%compared to samples without *** in the magnet body,the O content decreased from 0.21 wt.%to 0.14 wt.%,which helps increase the effective Sm content and domain wall pinning uniformity in the *** magnetic properties were obtained in the magnet with added antioxidants:B_(r)=11.6 kGs,SF=79.6%,H_(cj)=16.8 kOe,and(BH)_(max)=32.5 MGOe.

Digital signature scheme is a very important research field in computer security and modern cryptography. A (k, n) threshold digital signature scheme is proposed by integrating digital signature scheme with Shamir secret sharing scheme. It can realize group-oriented digital signature, and its security is based on the difficulty in computing discrete logarithm and quadratic residue on some special conditions. In this scheme, effective digital signature can not be generated by anyk?1 or fewer legal users, or only by signature executive. In addition, this scheme can identify any legal user who presents incorrect partial digital signature to disrupt correct signature, or any illegal user who forges digital signature. A method of extending this scheme to an Abelian group such as elliptical curve group is also discussed. The extended scheme can provide rapider computing speed and stronger security in the case of using shorter key.
