Spinal cord injury(SCI) is a devastating traumatic injury that causes persistent, severe motor and sensory dysfunction. Immune responses are involved in functional recovery after SCI. Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation 1(MALT1) has been shown to regulate the survival and differentiation of immune cells and to play a critical role in many diseases, but its function in lesion recovery after SCI remains unclear. In this paper, we generated KI(knock in) mice with a point mutation(C472 G) in the active center of MALT1 and found that the KI mice exhibited improved functional recovery after *** macrophages were recruited to the injury site in KI mice and these macrophages differentiated into anti-inflammatory macrophages. Moreover, macrophages from KI mice exhibited reduced phosphorylation of p65, which in turn resulted in decreased SOCS3 expression and increased pSTAT6 *** results were obtained upon inhibition of MALT1 paracaspase with the small molecule inhibitor‘‘MI-2' or the more specific inhibitor ‘‘MLT-827'. In patients with SCI, peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) displayed increased MALT1 paracaspase. Human macrophages showed reduced proinflammatory and increased anti-inflammatory characteristics following the inhibition of MALT1 paracaspase. These findings suggest that inhibition of MALT1 paracaspase activity in the clinic may improve lesion recovery in subjects with SCI.

Identification of genetic variants via high-throughput sequencing(HTS)technologies has been essential for both fundamental and clinical ***,to what extent the genome sequence composition affects variant calling remains *** this study,we identified 63,897 multi-copy sequences(MCSs)with a minimum length of 300 bp,each of which occurs at least twice in the human *** 151,749 genomic loci(multi-copy regions,or MCRs)harboring these MCSs account for 1.98% of the genome and are distributed unevenly across *** containing the same MCS tend to be located on the same *** Ontology(GO)analyses revealed that 3800 genes whose UTRs or exons overlap with MCRs are enriched for Golgirelated cellular component terms and various enzymatic activities in the GO biological function *** are also enriched for loci that are sensitive to neocarzinostatin-induced double-strand ***,genetic variants discovered by genome-wide association studies and recorded in dbSNP are significantly underrepresented in *** simulated HTS datasets,we show that false variant discovery rates are significantly higher in MCRs than in other genomic *** results suggest that extra caution must be taken when identifying genetic variants in the MCRs via HTS technologies.

Objective To investigate chondrocyte apoptosis and the expression of biochemical markers associated with apoptosis in Kashin-Beck disease（KBD） and in an established T-2 toxin-and selenium（Se） deficiency-induced rat model. Methods Cartilages were collected from the hand phalanges of five patients with KBD and five healthy children. Sprague-Dawley rats were administered a selenium-deficient diet for 4 weeks prior to T-2 toxin exposure. The apoptotic chondrocytes were observed by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase d UTP nick end labeling staining. Caspase-3, p53, Bcl-2, and Bax proteins in the cartilages were visualized by immunohistochemistry, their protein levels were determined by Western blotting, and m RNA levels were determined by real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. Results Increased chondrocyte apoptosis was observed in the cartilages of children with KBD. Increased apoptotic and caspase-3-stained cells were observed in the cartilages of rats fed with normal and Se-deficient diets plus T-2 toxin exposure compared to those in rats fed with normal and Se-deficient diets. Caspase-3, p53, and Bax proteins and m RNA levels were higher, whereas Bcl-2 levels were lower in rats fed with normal or Se-deficiency diets supplemented with T-2 toxin than the corresponding levels in rats fed with normal diet. Conclusion T-2 toxin under a selenium-deficient nutritional status induces chondrocyte death, which emphasizes the role of chondrocyte apoptosis in cartilage damage and progression of KBD.

Objective:To explore the association between interpersonal relationship and erectile dysfunction(ED)of middle-aged and elderly ***:A population-based cross-sectional research was conducted in the rural area of Jiashan County,Zhejiang province,in ***-aged and elderly men(aged 40-80)were selected as study *** face-to-face questionnaire was collected,including basic information,lifestyles,interpersonal relationship,and sexual *** interpersonal relationship was evaluated based on marital relationship,neighborhood relationship,and relatives/friends *** to the International index of erectile function,the study participants were divided into ED group(mild ED,moderate-to-severe ED),and non-ED *** were evaluated between interpersonal relationship indices and the prevalence or the severity of *** confounders were adjusted by the logistical regression ***:There were 674 study participants with average age of 60.4±8.5 years,and 489 ED patients with prevalence of 72.6%.With age increasing,the prevalence and the severity of ED increased *** men who could get help from spouse when an emergency occurred or who were more cared about by their neighbors had lower ED risk,and odds ratios(ORs)(95%confidence intervals[CIs])were 0.23(0.13-0.42)and 0.58(0.46-0.75),*** the adjustment of the covariates(age,education degree,household income,smoking,and drinking),the ORs(95%CIs)were 0.29(0.14-0.60)and 0.54(0.39-0.74),*** marital relationship and good neighborhood relationship were associated with a less severity of ED.

研究了时变时滞T-S模糊系统的稳定性分析和镇定问题.首先,构造一个增广Lyapunov-Krasovskii函数,结合自由权矩阵不等式,以线性矩阵不等式(LMIs)形式给出了时滞依赖的稳定性准则.基于状态空间分割技术,构造一些由子空间的局部上下确界的凸组合表示的分段隶属函数去近似逼近隶属函数,充分考虑隶属函数的边界信息,同时引入松弛矩阵,进而得到了更为放松的隶属函数依赖的稳定性结果;其次,基于前提不匹配技术,提出了变时滞模糊系统的状态反馈控制器的设计方法,其隶属函数及模糊规则数目可以自由选取,从而提高了控制器设计的灵活性;最后,给出三个仿真实例证明所提方法的有效性.

Granulomatous lobular mastitis(GLM) is a rare and chronic benign inflammatory disease of the breast. Difficulties exist in the management of GLM for many front-line surgeons and medical specialists who care for patients with inflammatory disorders of the breast. This consensus is summarized to establish evidence-based recommendations for the management of GLM. literature was reviewed using PubMed from January 1, 1971 to July 31, 2020. Sixty-six international experienced multidisciplinary experts from 11 countries or regions were invited to review the *** of evidence were determined using the American College of Physicians grading system, and recommendations were discussed until consensus. Experts discussed and concluded 30 recommendations on historical definitions,etiology and predisposing factors, diagnosis criteria, treatment, clinical stages, relapse and recurrence of GLM. GLM was recommended as a widely accepted definition. In addition, this consensus introduced a new clinical stages and management algorithm for GLM to provide individual treatment strategies. In conclusion, diagnosis of GLM depends on a combination of history, clinical manifestations, imaging examinations, laboratory examinations and *** approach to treatment of GLM should be applied according to the different clinical stage of GLM. This evidencebased consensus would be valuable to assist front-line surgeons and medical specialists in the optimal management of GLM.

中国草地净初级生产力时空格局及其影响因素

基于光能利用效率模型(Carnegie-Ames-Stanford Approach,CASA),结合MODIS系列遥感数据、植被数据和气象数据等,对2000—2015年中国草地的NPP进行估算,运用趋势分析法、变异系数及Hurst指数法对中国草地NPP时空动态、稳定性及持续性进行分析,并对中国草地NPP变化的主影响因素进行探讨。结果表明:(1)2000—2015年中国草地NPP呈现显著增加的变化趋势,平均变化率为1.53 g C·m-2·a-1,NPP变化趋势在2011年之后发生了突变,增加趋势更为明显。(2)空间上,草地NPP呈现西北低而东南高的分布格局,NPP低值区集中分布在青藏高原的大部分地区和内蒙古中部。草地NPP增加的区域占草地总面积的81.21%,主要分布在青藏高原中部地区和黄土高原大部分地区。草地NPP变化稳定的区域主要集中在甘肃省甘南地区和青海省东部的大部分地区,而不稳定区域则主要分布在青藏高原的大部分地区以及内蒙古的中部地区和呼伦贝尔等地。Hurst指数分析表明,新疆北部、黄土高原的大部分地区草地NPP将持续增加或减少,而青海省南部、内蒙古中部和黑龙江省等地的草地NPP未来变化具有反持续性。(3)不同草地类型的NPP均值有很大差异,其中高山亚高山草甸及草甸的平均NPP值较高,分别为578.8和565.31 g C·m-2·a-1,而荒漠草地的NPP平均值最低,仅为122.61 g C·m-2·a-1。(4)中国大多数地区草地NPP的增加主要受降水控制,而气温的升高对草地NPP具有一定的抑制。人类活动如过度放牧状况的改善以及退耕还草的实施对于近年来草地NPP的增加具有重要作用。
