Cyanidin-3-O-glucoside alleviates trimethyltin chloride-induced neurodegeneration by maintaining glutamate homeostasis through modulation of the gut microbiota

Trimethyltin chloride(TMT)is a potent neurotoxin to cause neurodegeneration,especially in *** study aimed to identify dietary components that can effectively attenuate TMT-induced neurodegeneration in *** predominant anthocyanin in human diets,cyanidin-3-O-glucoside(C3G,5 or 50 mg/kg),was given to mice for 16 days,and TMT(2.7 mg/kg)was injected intraperitoneally once on the eighth day.C3G(50 mg/kg)significantly alleviated TMT-induced seizures and subsequent cognitive impairment by ameliorating hippocampal neurodegeneration and synaptic ***,C3G treatment restored glutamate homeostasis in brain and reversed glutamine synthetase(GS)inhibition in reactive astrogliosis and neuroinflammation,which are critical for C3G's neuroprotective ***,C3G decreased the lipopolysaccharide,tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-6,and interleukin-1βlevels in the mice,which potentially by modulating the relative abundance of Atopobiaceae and Lachnospiraceae in the gut.C3G may be a promising and practical dietary component for reducing TMT-induced neurodegeneration.

Rational design of low-cost, highly electrocatalytic activity, and stable bifunctional electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction(OER) has been a great significant for metal–air batteries. Herein, an efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst based on hollow cobalt oxide nanoparticles embedded in nitrogen-doped carbon nanosheets(Co/N-Pg) is fabricated for Zn–air batteries. A lowcost biomass peach gum, consisting of carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen without other heteroatoms, was used as carbon source to form carbon matrix hosting hollow cobalt oxide nanoparticles. Meanwhile, the melamine was applied as nitrogen source and template precursor, which can convert to carbon-based template graphitic carbon nitride by polycondensation process. Owing to the unique structure and synergistic effect between hollow cobalt oxide nanoparticles and Co-N-C species, the proposal Co/N-Pg catalyst displays not only prominent bifunctional electrocatalytic activities for ORR and OER, but also excellent durability. Remarkably, the assembled Zn–air battery with Co/N-Pg air electrode exhibited a low discharge-charge voltage gap(0.81 V at 50 mA cm^-2) and high peak power density(119 mW cm^-2) with long-term cycling stability. This work presents an effective approach for engineering transition metal oxides and nitrogen modified carbon nanosheets to boost the performance of bifunctional electrocatalysts for Zn–air battery.

A new europium（Ⅲ） complex, tris（dibertzoylmethanate）{ 1-[9-hexyl-9-carbazole]-2-（2-pyridyl）-bertzimidazole}europium（Ⅲ） [Eu（DBM）a（CPyBM）] was synthesized and used as an electron-acceptor and electron-transport layer in organic photovoltaic （PV） device. Power conversion efficiency achieved from the device was 1.04% under illumination with 365 nm UV light at 1.6 mW/cm^2. Compared with the previous reported devices based on Eu（Ⅲ） complexes, the PV performances were improved. The working mechanism of the organic PV device was discussed.

The ensemble Kalman filter （EnKF） is a distinguished data assimilation method that is widely used and studied in various fields including methodology and oceanography. However, due to the limited sample size or imprecise dynamics model, it is usually easy for the forecast error variance to be underestimated, which further leads to the phenomenon of filter divergence. Additionally, the assimilation results of the initial stage are poor if the initial condition settings differ greatly from the true initial state. To address these problems, the variance inflation procedure is usually adopted. In this paper, we propose a new method based on the constraints of a confidence region constructed by the observations, called EnCR, to estimate the inflation parameter of the forecast error variance of the EnKF method. In the new method, the state estimate is more robust to both the inaccurate forecast models and initial condition settings. The new method is compared with other adaptive data assimilation methods in the Lorenz-63 and Lorenz-96 models under various model parameter settings. The simulation results show that the new method performs better than the competing methods.

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)can form symbiotic relationships with most crops,but their impact on the environmental migration of cadmium(Cd)in farmland is limited.A field experiment was per-formed in the rainy season(May-October)for two years in Cd-polluted farmland used for maize cultivation.A fungicide(benomyl)was used to specifically inhibit native AMF growth in the *** growth and Cd uptake of maize and the Cd concentration and loss in runoff and interflow were *** strongly and significantly inhibited AMF colonization rate in maize roots,reduced the contents of total and easily extractable glomalin-related soil protein(GRSP)in soil and the Cd uptake in maize roots,and increased the Cd uptake in *** Cd was the main form of Cd loss in runoff,while dissolved Cd was the main form of Cd leaching loss at depths of 20 cm and 40 *** AMF increased the Cd concentration in runoff and interflow and promoted dissolved Cd loss in runoff and interflow at 20 cm depth by 34.7%and 68.0%and particulate Cd loss by 46.4%and 19.7%,***,the AMF colonization rate in maize roots and the GRSP content in soil were significantly positively correlated with Cd uptake in roots and negatively correlated with the concentration and loss of Cd in runoff and *** results indicated that the benomyl-induced inhibition of native AMF promoted Cd transfer to maize shoots and increased Cd loss via runoff and interflow from polluted farmland.

We calculated a self-thinning exponent of 1.05 for tree mass using the 3/2 power equation in 93 Cunninghamia lanceolata *** to Weller’s allometric model,the self-thinning exponent for tree mass was calculated as 1.28 from the allometric exponents h and *** both self-thinning exponents were significantly lower than 3/*** self-thinning exponent of organs was estimated to be 1.42 for stems,0.93 for branches,0.96 for leaves,1.35 for roots and 1.28 for shoots,*** self-thinning exponent of stem mass was not significantly different from 3/2,whereas thinning exponents of trees,branches,leaves and roots were significantly lower than 3/*** stand leaf mass and stand branch mass were constant regardless of the stand *** scaling relations among branch,leaf,stem,root and shoot mass（MB,ML,MS,MR and MA,respectively） showed that MB and ML scaled as the3/4 power of MS,whereas MS or MA scaled isometrically with respect to MR.

Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a severe autoimmune disease with symptoms including synovial inflammation,cartilage erosion,and bone loss in RA lesions,which eventually lead to joint deformity and function *** current treatments fail to achieve satisfying therapeutic outcomes with some adverse *** vesicles derived from apoptotic cells(apoEVs)have emerged as important mediators in intercellular communication regulating diverse physiological and pathological *** this study,we investigated the therapeutic efficacy of macrophage-derived and osteoclast-derived apoEVs(Mφ-apoEVs and OC-apoEVs)on *** in vitro results showed that both Mφ-apoEVs and OC-apoEVs induced macrophage repolarization toward the anti-inflammatory M2 phenotype,promoted chondrocyte functions and chondrogenesis,and inhibited osteoclast formation and *** addition,OC-apoEVs promoted osteogenic *** in vivo study on the CIA mouse model further demonstrated that apoEVs could couple various functions and exert synergistic effects on the joint with RA,as evidenced by the regression of synovial inflammation,the reversal of cartilage damage and bone erosion,and the preservation of joint *** findings demonstrated that Mφ-apoEVs and OC-apoEVs contributed to restoring the homeostasis of the overall microenvironment in the RA joint and highlighted their potential application as a promising alternative to treat RA.

Urban system is shaped by the interactions between different regions and regions planned by the government,then reshaped by human activities and residents’*** the changes of regional structure and dynamics of city function based on the residents’movement demand are important to evaluate and adjust the planning and management of urban services and internal *** paper constructed a probabilistic factor model on the basis of probabilistic latent semantic analysis and tensor decomposition,for purpose of understanding the higher order interactive population mobility and its impact on urban structure ***,a four-dimensional tensor of time(T)×week(W)×origin(O)×destination(D)was constructed to identify the day-to-day activities in three time modes and weekly regularity of weekday/weekend *** we reclassified the urban regions based on the space clustering formed by the space factor matrix and core ***,we further analysed the space–time interaction on different time scales to deduce the actual function and connection strength of each *** research shows that the application of individual-based spatial–temporal data in human mobility and space–time interaction study can help to analyse urban spatial structure and understand the actual regional function from a new perspective.

Since missiles are main threat against aircrafts in air war,a model is proposed for calculating the aircraft survivability to a *** hit characteristic of aircraft to a missile is analyzed,and then Monte Carlo method is applied to generate missile detonation location according to its distribution *** addition,based on the analysis of fragment trajectory and critical components,the intersection point of these two is *** the kill probability of critical component to a fragment can be calculated,and the aircraft survivability to a missile is obtained ***,the feasibility of the proposed method is *** results show that this method captures the basic effects of missile detonation locations on aircraft survivability,which may provide an effective reference to aircraft survivability research.
