Symmetric Na-ion cells using the NASICON-structured electrodes could simplify the manufacturing process,reduce the cost,facilitate the recycling post-process,and thus attractive in the field of large-scale stationary {3. ***,the long-term cycling performance of such batteries is usually *** investigation reveals the unavoidable side reactions between the NASICON-type Na_(3.V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3.(NVP)anode and the commercial liquid electrolyte,leading to serious capacity fading in the symmetric NVP//NVP *** resolve this issue,an all-solid-state composite electrolyte is used to replace the liquid electrolyte so that to overcome the side reaction and achieve high anode/electrolyte interfacial *** ferroelectric engineering could further improve the interfacial ion conduction,effectively reducing the electrode/electrolyte interfacial *** NVP//NVP cell using the ferroelectric-engineered composite electrolyte can achieve a capacity retention of 86.4%after 650 ***,the electrolyte can also be used to match the Prussianblue cathode NaxFeyFe(CN)_(6−z)·nH_(2)O(NFFCN).Outstanding long-term cycling stability has been obtained in the all-solid-state NVP//NFFCN cell over 9000 cycles at a current density of 500 mA g^(-1),with a fading rate as low as 0.005%per cycle.

Several primary factors influencing the alpha energy spectrum of 241Am fire alarm source have been studied in order to get better alpha energy spectrum. The results show that the homogeneity and the thickness of metal surface coat and the size of active area of the source have considerable influence on the alpha energy spectrum of the source.

So far accelerator mass spectrometry （AMS） technique has been used for the determination of numbers of important long-lived radioisotopes, such as 10Be, 14C, 26Al, 3.Cl, 41Ca and 129I, in their applications of geoscienee, environmental science, archaeology and biomedical research. It is interesting to determine 79Se with AMS technique for its potential application in biomedical research and environmental science presently. The published half-life values of 79Se are more than 2 orders of magnitude apart, ranging from 103./sup> to 106 a. We briefly reviewed the experimental study on a-delayed proton decays near the proton drip line published by our group during the period of 1996―2004, namely the first observation of the a-delayed proton decays of 9 new nuclides in the rare-earth region and the new measurements of a-delayed proton decays of 5 nuclides in the mass ～90 region near the N = Z line with the aid of the “p-?” coincidence in combination with a He-jet tape transport system. In the meantime some important experimental technique details were supplemented. The experimental results, including the half -lives, spins, parities, deformations and production reaction cross sections for the 14 nuclei were summarized and compared with the current nuclear-model predictions, and then the following points were represented. (1) The experimental half-lives for 85Mo and 92Rh as well as the predicted “waiting point” nuclei 89Ru and 93.d are 5―10 times longer than the theoretical predictions given by M?ller et al. using a macroscopic-microscopic model. It considerably influences the predictions of the abundances of the nuclides produced in the rp-process. (2) The current-model predictions are not consistent with the experimental assignments of the spins and parities for the proton drip-line nuclei 142Ho and 128Pm. However, the nuclear potential energy surface (PES) calculated by using a Woods- Saxon-Strutinsky method reproduced the experimental results. (3. The Alice code overestimated the production reaction cross sections of the studied 9 rare-earth nuclei by one order of magnitude or two, while HIVAP code overestimated them by one order of magnitude approximately.

The probability of the last proton being out of the binding potential, P and the root-mean-square (rms) ra- dius (1/2= of the third excited state in 21Na are calcu- lated by means of asymptotic normalization coefficient (ANC) method with the experimental date existing. The results are P=54.73. and 1/2=5.28 fm respectively. The P value and the contribution of the asymptotic part to the 1/2 are compared with those of several other low energy states in 21Na. It is found that the valence particle in the third excited state has an obvious larger P than those of other states. The density distribution of the valence proton in this state is also compared with the nucleons in the nuclear core 20Ne, and a far extended tail can be seen clearly. These results show that the third ex- cited state in 21Na is a proton halo state.

U 10wt%Zr alloy has been analysed by neutron diffraction method to determine the constituent phases and their crystal *** collected diffraction data are processed using Rietveld' s profile technique (with program“ Fullprof ”). Four phases,α-U,δ, γand α Zr, in the alloy at room temperature and the corresponding volume fractions as well their structural parameters are obtained from the data analysis, For the δ-phase, a partially ordered unusual hexagonal structure of the modified C3.(AlB2) type is confirmed.

Neutron halo state of ^(13.C

The energies,in particular the lifetimes of the first excited states in even-even nuclei provide a worthful information about the quadrupole deformation of the nuclear *** the even-even Os isotopes （Z=76） with neutron numbers N≤126,the systematics of the excited energies of the first 2 states indicates that Os（N=108） has maximal *** the N=108 towards the closed shell at N=82,nuclear shape changes slightly with decreasing neutron *** from Os to Os,the quadrupole deformationβ（E） extracted from the energies of the 2 excited states remain almost constant at about 0.23. This behavior may be related to the possible X（5） structures for these *** systematicses of the excited energies for both the 2 states and with the addition of the 4 states show similar trend of shape evolution and make an appearance of a maximal deformation at Os for the even-even Os nuclei.

Angular distributions for the 12C(d, p)13. transfer reactions have been measured at Ed = 11.8 MeV, and compared with those of the DWBA calculations. By means of this comparison, density distributions of the last neutron in the ground state and the first 1/2+ state of 13. are extracted. The properties of these states in 13. have also been studied in the framework of the nonlinear relativistic mean-field theory with NL-SH parameters. It is found that the first l/2+ state in 13. is a neutron halo state shown by both the experimental and theoretical density distributions of the last neutron.
