Catalysts for oxygen conversion play an important role in energy storage and conversion technologies such as metal-air *** highly active stable,and low-cost catalysts is critical for further implementation of the above ***,an efficien oxygen electrocatalyst with Co2. nanoparticles （NPs）coupling onto N,P-doped porous carbon nanosheets（Co2.@NPAC） derived from cotton stalk is successfully designed and prepared via activation,hydrothermal treatment,and pyrolysis *** excellent properties of electrical conductivity,mass transfer,and synergistic integration between Co2. and N,P-doped carbon endow Co2.@NPAC composite with superior oxygen reduction reaction/oxygen evolution reaction （ORR/OER） ***2.@NPAC catalyst achieves ORR activity with half-wave potential of 0.85 V and high OER activity with overpotential of 2.1 mV at 10 mA·*** flexible Zn-air batteries （ZABs） based on Co2.@NPAC catalyst revea outstanding performances with a high open-circuit voltage（1.38 V）,a peak power density of (75 mW·cm-2.,and a low charge-discharge voltage gap （0.74 V,～2.0 cycles）The flexible ZABs express the stable discharge-charge voltage gap at various bending *** work provides interesting inspiration for the ingenious design of efficien carbon electrocatalysts from biomass with potential application of energy storage and conversion devices.

The hierarchical assemblies of precise nanoparticles(NPs)have created materials with emergent properties and ***,the complex assemblies remain unclear at a precise ***,we show the hierarchical self-assembly of atomically precise gold nanoclusters(Au NCs)with molecular rotor-based ligands(MRL),featuring a double-layer *** to two other types of monolayer-protected(MLP)Au NCs,the significantly reduced surface density for MRL Au NCs profoundly influences their assembly behavior within the ***,the long length of rotor-based ligands and the rotational freedom of the phenyl-rings of rotor-based ligands also facilitate the assembly of *** works elucidate the hierarchical assembly on a precise scale,suggesting that the rotor-based ligand’s strategy offers promising potential for designing well-defined and more complex structures in supercrystals.

Deep tissue infections caused by pathogenic bacteria seriously threat the lives of *** this study a smart heterostructured Au/Cu-BTA （BTA=1,2.4,5-benzenetetramine） with microwave （MW） response is synthesized via NaBH4reduction of HAuCl4on the ***/Cu-BTA exhibits excellent hyperthermy and dynamics under MW *** MW thermal mechanism of Au/Cu-BTA is attributed to the excellen dielectric loss and polarization of the heterogeneous ***,the surface energy levels of the Cu-BTA interface alleviate the difficulty of electron hopping through multistage ***,MW can excite Cu-BTA to produce free ***,Au nanoparticles rapidly increase electron transfer and inhibit electron-hole ***,the yields of reactive oxygen species can be enhanced for MW dynamic therapy Consequently,under 10 min of MW irradiation,Au/Cu-BTA killed 99.998%±0.001% of Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus,99.966%±0.014% of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus,and 96.871%±0.831% of Gram-negative Pseudomonas *** effective MW bacteria-killing strategy designed in this study shows significant potential for application in the MW-responsive treatment of deep tissue infections without antibiotics.

The Moon provides a unique environment for investigating nearby astrophysical events such as *** samples retain valuable information from these events,via detectable long-lived“fingerprint”radionuclides such as^(60)*** this work,we stepped up the development of an accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS)method for detecting^(60)Fe using the HI-13tandem accelerator at the china Institute of Atomic energy(CIAE).Since interferences could not be sufficiently removed solely with the existing magnetic systems of the tandem accelerator and the following Q3D magnetic spectrograph,a Wien filter with a maximum voltage of±60 kV and a maximum magnetic field of 0.3 T was installed after the accelerator magnetic systems to lower the detection background for the low abun{12.nce nuclide^(60)Fe.A 1μm thick Si_(3)N_(4) foil was installed in front of the Q3D as an energy *** particle detection,a multi-anode gas ionization chamber was mounted at the center of the focal plane of the ***,an^(60)Fe sample with an abun{12.nce of 1.12.×10^(-10)was used to test the new AMS *** results indicate that^(60)Fe can be clearly distinguished from the isobar^(60)*** sensitivity was assessed to be better than 4.3×10^(-14)based on blank sample measurements lasting 5.8 h,and the sensitivity could,in principle,be expected to be approximately 2.5×10^(-15)when the {12.ta were accumulated for 100 h,which is feasible for future lunar sample measurements because the main contaminants were sufficiently separated.

High efficiency removal of NO using waste calcium carbide slag by facile KOH modification

Waste calcium carbide slags(CS),which are widely applied to desulfurisation,are not typically used in ***,to well achieve waste control by waste,a facile and highefficiency denitration strategy is developed using KOH to modify the calcium carbide slags(KCS).Various KCS samples were investigated using a series of physical and chemical *** performance test results showed that the KOH concentration and reaction temperature are the main factors affecting the denitration efficiency of KCS,and CS modified with 1.5 mol/L KOH(KCS-1.5)can achieve 100% denitration efficiency at 300℃.Such excellent removal efficiency is due to the catalytic oxidation of the oxygen-containing functional groups derived from the *** studies showed that KOH treatment significantly increased the concentration of oxygen vacancies,nitro compounds,and basic sites of *** study provides a novel strategy for the resource utilisation of waste CS in the future.

Fluoropyrimidine-based combination chemotherapy plus targeted therapy is the standard initial treatment for unresectable metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC),but the prognosis remains *** phase 3 trial(***:NCT03950154)assessed the efficacy and adverse events(AEs)of the combination of PD-1 blockade-activated DC-CIK(PD1-T)cells with XELOX plus bevacizumab as a first-line therapy in patients with mCRC.A total of 2.2.participants were enrolled and randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive either first-line XELOX plus bevacizumab(the control group,n=102.or the same regimen plus autologous PD1-T cell immunotherapy(the immunotherapy group,n=100)every 2. days for up to 6 cycles,followed by maintenance treatment with capecitabine and *** main endpoint of the trial was progression-free survival(PFS).The median follow-up was 19.5 *** PFS was 14.8 months(95%CI,11.6-18.0)for the immunotherapy group compared with 9.9 months(8.0-11.8)for the control group(hazard ratio[HR],0.60[95%CI,0.40-0.88];p=0.009).Median overall survival(OS)was not reached for the immunotherapy group and 2..6 months(95%CI,18.3-32.8)for the control group(HR,0.57[95%CI,0.33-0.98];p=0.043).Grade 3 or higher AEs occurred in 2..0%of patients in the immunotherapy group and 2..5%in the control groups,with no toxicity-associated deaths *** addition of PD1-T cells to first-line XELOX plus bevacizumab demonstrates significant clinical improvement of PFS and OS with well tolerability in patients with previously untreated mCRC.

The regulation of spermatogonial proliferation and apoptosis is of great significance for maintaining *** single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)analysis of the testis was performed to identify genes upregulated in *** scRNAseq analysis,we identified the spermatogonia upregulated gene origin recognition complex subunit 6(Orc6),which is involved in DNA replication and cell cycle regulation;its protein expression in the human and mouse testis was detected by western blot and *** explore the potential function of Orc6 in spermatogonia,the C18-4 cell line was transfected with control or Orc6 ***,5-ethynyl-2.deoxyuridine(EdU)and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL)assays,flow cytometry,and western blot were used to evaluate its effects on proliferation and *** was revealed that ORC6 could promote proliferation and inhibit apoptosis of C18-4 *** RNA sequencing and bioinformatics analysis indicated that Orc6 was involved in the activation of wingless/integrated(Wnt)/β-catenin *** blot revealed that the expression ofβ-catenin protein and its phosphorylation(Ser675)were significantly decreased when silencing the expression of *** findings indicated that Orc6 was upregulated in spermatogonia,whereby it regulated proliferation and apoptosis by activating Wnt/β-catenin signaling.

Neutron-sensitive microchannel plates(nMCPs)have applications in neutron detection,including energy spectrum measurements,neutron-induced cross sections,and neutron imaging.10B-doped MCPs(B-MCPs)have attracted significant attention owing to their potential for exhibiting a high neutron detection efficiency over a large neutron energy *** spatial and temporal resolutions are useful for neutron energy-resolved ***,their practical applications still face many technical *** this study,a B-MCP with 10 mol%10B was tested for its response to wide-energy neutrons from eV to MeV at the Back-n white neutron source at the china Spallation Neutron *** neutron detection efficiency was calibrated at 1 eV,which is approximately 300 times that of an ordinary MCP and indicates the success of 10 B *** factors that caused the reduction in the detection efficiency were simulated and *** neutron energy spectrum obtained using B-MCP was compared with that obtained by other measurement methods,and showed very good consistency for neutron energies below tens of *** response is more complicated at higher neutron energy,at which point the elastic and nonelastic reactions of all nuclides of B-MCP gradually become *** is beneficial for the detection of neutrons,as it compensates for the detection efficiency of B-MCP for high-energy neutrons.
