Effect of Lanthanum on Catalytic Performance of Ru/Al2O3 Catalyst for Hydrogenation of Esters to Corresponding Alcohols

Ru-La/γ-Al2O3 catalyst was prepared by impregnation method and characterized by temperature pro- grammed reduction（TPR）, transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, X-ray photoelectron spectra（XPS）, Brunauer- Emmett-Teller（BET）, X-ray diffraction（XRD）, and NH3-temperature programmed desorption（NH3-TPD）. NH3-TPD revealed that the strong acidic centers in γ-Al2O3 are not the major factor to cause the hydrolysis of esters to acids in the hydrogenation of esters. The results of TPR and TEM indicate that the appropriately added lanthanum results in the good dispersion of ruthenium and the easy reduction of ruthenium oxide on Ru-Laγ-Al2O3, which could promote the catalytic activity of Ru-La/γ-Al2O3 for the hydrogenation of methyl propionate to propanol. When the amount of lanthanum added in the catalyst was up to 9%（mass fraction）, 4%Ru-9%La/γ-Al2O3 catalyst gave a conversion of methyl propionate of 98.1% and a selectivity of 94.8% to propanol at a reaction temperature of 180℃ and a hydro- gen pressure of 5.0 MPa.

We examine the cross-shelf variation of internal tides(ITs)west of the Dongsha Plateau in the northern South China Sea based on observations from 4 moorings deployed between August 2017 and September *** the slope,the amplitude of diurnal baroclinic current ellipses are 5 times larger than that of barotropic *** baroclinic energy quickly dissipates during cross-shelf propagation,and barotropic currents become dominant on the shelf outside of the Zhujiang River Estuary,with the amplitude of semidiurnal barotropic current ellipses being 10 times larger than that of the baroclinic *** modal decomposition indicates the first baroclinic mode is dominant for both diurnal and semidiurnal *** total horizontal kinetic energy(HKE)of the first three baroclinic modes shows spatiotemporal differences among the 4 *** the slope,the HKE for diurnal ITs is stronger in summer and winter,but weaker in spring and autumn;for semidiurnal ITs there is a similar seasonal variation,but the HKE in winter is even stronger than that in *** the shallow shelf,both diurnal and semidiurnal ITs maintain a certain intensity in summer but almost disappear in *** analysis shows that only the upper water column is affected by seasonal variation of stratification on the slope,variation of diurnal ITs is thus controlled by the semi-annual cycle of barotropic energy input from the Luzon Strait,while the incoherent baroclinic currents make a major contribution to the temporal variation of semidiurnal *** the shelf region,the water column is well mixed in winter,and the baroclinic energy largely dissipates when ITs propagate to the shelf zone despite of a strong barotropic energy input from the Luzon Strait.

Taking inspiration from nature, the biomimetic concept has been integrated into drug delivery systems in cancer therapy. Disguised with cell membranes, the nanoparticles can acquire various functions of natural cells. The cell membrane-coating technology has pushed the limits of common nano-systems(fast elimination in circulation) to more effectively navigate within the body. Moreover, because of the various functional molecules on the surface, cell membrane-based nanoparticles(CMBNPs) are capable of interacting with the complex biological microenvironment of the tumor. Various sources of cell membranes have been explored to camouflage CMBNPs and different tumor-targeting strategies have been developed to enhance the anti-tumor drug delivery therapy. In this review article we highlight the most recent advances in CMBNP-based cancer targeting systems and address the challenges and opportunities in this field.

The morphological identification of Protoperidinium(Peridiniales, Dinophyceae) species on the coasts of China

The classification and identification for Protoperidinium species are the most difficult work during its taxonomic study. In this research, taxonomic status of Protoperidinium was clarified by tracing its taxonomic history, 23 species belong to genus Protoperidinium on the coasts of China were preliminarily identified, and morphological description and plate patterns were given for each species. The key differences of similar species were also discussed in this study, we believe that P. oceanicum and P. murry, P. tumidum and P. fatulipes, P. globules and *** are separate species; P. diabolum should be treated as the valid name instead of the reported names Peridinium globosum or Peridinium longipes; the taxonomic relationship between P. punctulatum and *** requires further study.

The Distribution of Green Algal Micro-Propagules and Macroalgae at the Early Stage of Green Tide in the Coastal Area of South Jiangsu Province in 2014

An integrated investigation was carried out during late April to late May of 2014 in the coastal area of South Jiangsu Province to understand the early development of green tide in the Yellow Sea and discover the temporal and spatial distribution of green algal micro-propagules and macroalgae at the early stage of green tide. The results showed that green algal micro-propagules distributed in all stations from late April to late May, and micro-propagules of high density(> 300 ind. L^(-1)) concentrated in the adjacent Porphyra aquaculture area. Floating macroalgae were initially observed in the northern survey areas, and increased gradually. The dominant species was U. prolifera in the floating macroalgae, ranging between 90% and 100%. The seawater surface temperature and salinity in the above mentioned time period were suitable for the growth of macroalgae. This work can help government to strengthen management to reduce the blooms of macroalgae in the coastal area of South Jiangsu Province and also facilitate the decision-making for managers at the early stage of green tide.

Carbon materials, including carbon fibers, graphite, diamond, carbon foams, carbon nanotubes, and graphene, are attractive reinforcements for aluminum matrix composites due to their excellent mechanical and/or physical properties as well as light weight. Carbon materials reinforced aluminum （C/Al） composites are promising materials in many areas such as aerospace, thermal management, and automobile. However, there are still some challenging problems that need to be resolved, such as interfacial reactions, low wettability, and anisotropic properties. These problems have limited the use of these composites. This review mainly focuses on the categories, fabrication processes, existing problems and solutions, coatings and interfaces, challenges and opportunities of C/Al composites so as to provide a useful reference for future research.

DC-FIPD: Fraudulent IP Identification Method Based on Homology Detection

Currently,telecom fraud is expanding from the traditional telephone network to the Internet,and identifying fraudulent IPs is of great significance for reducing Internet telecom fraud and protecting consumer ***,existing telecom fraud identification methods based on blacklists,reputation,content and behavioral characteristics have good identification performance in the telephone network,but it is difficult to apply to the Internet where IP(Internet Protocol)addresses change *** address this issue,we propose a fraudulent IP identification method based on homology detection and DBSCAN(Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise)clustering(DC-FIPD).First,we analyze the aggregation of fraudulent IP geographies and the homology of IP ***,the collected fraudulent IPs are clustered geographically to obtain the regional distribution of fraudulent ***,we constructed the fraudulent IP feature set,used the genetic optimization algorithm to determine the weights of the fraudulent IP features,and designed the calculation method of the IP risk value to give the risk value threshold of the fraudulent ***,the risk value of the target IP is calculated and the IP is identified based on the risk value *** results on a real-world telecom fraud detection dataset show that the DC-FIPD method achieves an average identification accuracy of 86.64%for fraudulent ***,the method records a precision of 86.08%,a recall of 45.24%,and an F1-score of 59.31%,offering a comprehensive evaluation of its performance in fraud *** results highlight the DC-FIPD method’s effectiveness in addressing the challenges of fraudulent IP identification.

Heterocapsa bohaiensis ***.(Peridiniales:Dinophyceae):a novel marine dinoflagellate from the liaodong Bay of Bohai Sea,China

A small armed dinoflagellate bloomed in the aquaculture ponds off the coast of liaodong Bay, Bohai Sea of China, resulting in heavy mortalities of the cultured prawns （Penaeusjaponicus） and larvae of Chinese mitten handed crabs （Eriocheir sinensis）. The bloom-forming species was successfully isolated, and cellular morphology of the specimen was consequently investigated through light, fluorescent and electron microscopy. The small （（14.4±1.6） μm in length） ellipsoid cells show typical Heterocapsa thecal plate arrangement （Po, cp, 5′, 3a, 7″, 6c, 5s, 5′″, 2″″）. The episome is evidently bigger than the hyposome. One to three spherical pyrenoids are located above or beside the large elongated nucleus. The body scale is characterized by a triangle basal plate with one central upright and nine peripheral spines. Above all, Heterocapsa bohaiensis could be distinguished from other Heterocapsa species by the combination of the cell size, morphology, cellular structure and body scale. Sequence analyses of both ITS and LSU regions reveal the significant genetic divergence between H. bohaiensis and other established species in this genus, further supporting novelty of this species. Noticeably, different sample treatment methods resulted in morphological variation of the apical pore complex （APC） of H. bohaiensis, which needs to be taken into account in future study.

Highly Efficient Hydrogenation of Methyl Propionate to Propanol over Hydrous Zirconia Supported Ruthenium

Hydrous zirconia supported ruthenium catalyst Ru/ZrO2 xH2O, prepared by co-precipitating ruthenium trichloride and zirconium oxychloride with ammonia, was able to catalyze efficiently methyl propionate to propanol under the mild conditions. In aqueous system, the propanol yield of 〉99% was achieved under the conditions of reaction temperature of 150 ℃ and hydrogen pressure of 5.0 MPa, while in non-aqueous system the maximum propanol yield was only 47.0%. FTIR spectra and hydrogenation results indicated that the high catalytic performance of Ru/ZrO2 xH2O in aqueous phase results from the cooperation effect between water as a solvent and hydroxyl groups on the surtace of carrier.
