Pre-reduction of WO_(3)-Co_(3)O_(4)by h_(2)-C_(2)h_4 in a fluidized bed

In order to avoid the formation ofηphase(W_(6)Co_(6)C or W_(3)Co_(3)C)that adversely affects the sintering process and its products in the preparation process of ultra-fine WC-Co powder,a technical route of prereduction of WO_(3)-Co_(3)O_(4)to WO_(2)-Co and then deep reduction carbonization to WC-Co powder has been *** study mainly investigates the influence of gas partial pressure on the pre-reduction process of WO_(3)-Co_(3)O_(4)under a mixed atmosphere of h_(2)-C_(2)h_(4)-Ar at 600℃and establishes the kinetic equations of pre-reduction and carbon *** results indicate that increasing the partial pressure of hydrogen is conducive to the rapid and complete conversion of WO_(3) to WO_(2).high carbon content can be generated by the deposition of C_(2)h_(4),and it hinders the diffusion of the reducing gas;WO_(3)still cannot be completely reduced to WO_(2)as the partial pressure of C_(2)h_(4) increases to 60%.For the carbon evolution of C_(2)h_(4),the carbon amount is positively related to the h_(2)partial pressure,but it shows the highest amount and evolution rate when the ethylene partial pressure is 20%.based on the reduction rate curves of WO_(3) and carbon evolution rate curves of C_(2)h_(4),the rate equations of pre-reduction and carbon evolution of WO_(3)-Co_(3)O_(4)system at 600℃are *** pre-reduction reaction belongs to the first-order reaction,and its equation is expressed as follows:r=-(dw_(WO_(3)))/dt=(9±0.15)×10^(-2)×P_(h_(2))^(0.44)P_(C_(2)h_(4))&(0.57)The carbon deposition rate equation of C_(2)h_(4) can be expressed as follows:r=-(dc_C)/dt=r_f-r_b≌7.35×10^(-2)×P_(C_(2)h_(4))^(0.31)

Two novel metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),JLU-MOF130([In(Nh2−bDC)(Imi)(1h−Imi)]·DMF·h2O,Nh2−h.b.C=2-aminobenzene-1,4-dicarboxylic acid,1h−Imi=1h-imidazole,DMF=N,N-dimethylformamide)and JLU-MOF131([In(1,4-NDC)(Imi)(1h−Imi)]·DMF0.5,1,4-h_(2)NDC=1,4-naphthalene-dicarboxylic acid),were ***-MOF130 features a three-dimensional(3D)architecture with a neb ***-MOF131 is characterized by a two-dimensional(2D)structure with an sql ***-MOF130 has excellent fluorescence detection performance towards Fe^(3+),2,4-dinitrophenol(2,4-DNP),and 2,4,6-trinitrophenol(TNP),but the fluorescence detection performance of JLU-MOF131 is further improved by converting Nh2−h.b.C to more conjugated 1,4-h_(2)*** Stern-Volmer(SV)quenching constant(KSV)values of JLU-MOF130 sensing 2,4-DNP,TNP,and Fe^(3+)are 5.24×10^(4),4.44×10^(4),and 4.73×10^(3) L/mol,*** corresponding limit of detection(LOD)values are 1.17,1.36,and 14.59µmol/*** KSV values for JLU-MOF131 are 1.26×10^(5),9.02×10^(4),and 8.48×103 L/mol,and the corresponding LOD values are 0.35,0.42,and 3.60µmol/L,***,the emission wavelengths of the two MOFs obviously shift as the fluorescence emission intensities decrease upon the addition of 2,4-DNP and TNP,which can be applied in selective detection.

NIR-IIb-triggered photodynamic therapy combined with chemotherapy platform based on rare-earth-doped nanoparticles

Selectively T cell phosphorylation activation of azvudine in the thymus tissue with immune protection effect

Thymus is the important immune organ,responsible for T cell development and *** lower circulating T counts have been observed in patients who died from COVID-19 compared with ***,also known as FNC,is a thymus-homing anti-SARS-CoV-2 drug in treating COVID-19 *** this study,single-cell transcriptome,proteomics,and parallel reaction monitoring(PRM)were applied to insight into the activation process of FNC in rat and SARS-CoV-2 rhesus monkey *** results indicated that thymic immune cells possess a robust metabolic capacity for cytidine-analogue drugs such as *** enzymes involved in the FNC phosphorylation process,such as Dck,Cmpk1,and Nme2,were highly expressed in CD4+ T cells,CD8+ T cells,and DP(CD4+ CD8+)***,FNC could upregulate multiple phosphorylated kinases in various cell types while downregulating the phosphatases,phosphoribosyl transferases,and deaminases,*** robust phosphorylation capacity of the thymus for cytidine analogue drug FNC,and the activation effect of FNC on the NAs metabolism system potentially contribute to its enrichment in the thymus and immune protection *** suggests that it is crucial to consider the expression level of phosphorylation kinases when evaluating NA drug properties,as an important factor during antiviral drug design.

IMPROVED COhESIVE ZONE MODEL AND ITS APPliCATION IN INTERFACE CONTACT ANALYSIS

An improved interface cohesive zone model is developed for the simulation of interface contact, under mixed-mode loading. A new debonding initiation criterion and propagation of debonding law, taking into account the pressure stress influence on contact shear strength, is proposed. The model is implemented in a finite-element program using subroutine VUINTER of AbAQUS Explicit. An edge-notch four-point bending process and laminated vibration damping steel sheet punch forming test are simulated with the improved model in AbAQUS Explicit. The numerical predictions agree satisfactorily with the corresponding experimental results.

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide treatment confers resistance to neonatal ischemia and hypoxia:effects on neurobehavioral phenotypes

Neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain injury is the main cause of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and cerebral ***,there are few effective clinical treatments for neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain ***,we investigated the neuroprotective and molecular mechanisms of exogenous nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide,which can protect against hypoxic injury in adulthood,in a mouse model of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain *** this study,nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(5 mg/kg)was intraperitoneally administered 30 minutes befo re surgery and every 24 hours *** results showed that nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide treatment improved body weight,brain structure,adenosine triphosphate levels,oxidative damage,neurobehavioral test outcomes,and seizure threshold in experimental *** mass tag proteomics revealed that numerous proteins were altered after nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide treatment in hypoxic-ischemic brain injury *** reaction monitoring and western blotting confirmed changes in the expression levels of proteins including serine(or cysteine)peptidase inh.b.tor,clade A,member 3N,fibronectin 1,5'-nucleotidase,cytosolic IA,microtubule associated protein 2,and complexin *** analyses showed that nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide ameliorated hypoxic-ischemic injury through inflammation-related signaling pathways(e.g.,nuclear factor-kappa b,mitogen-activated protein kinase,and phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase/protein kinase b).These findings suggest that nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide treatment can improve neurobehavioral phenotypes in hypoxic-ischemic brain injury mice through inflammation-related pathways.

Photocatalytic oxidation techniques are promising for degradation of the highly ecotoxic and refractory isothiazolinone bactericides in relevant industrial ***,low charge separation and directional transport efficiency under solar light radiation restrain their practical ***,we report a nanostructured photocatalyst doped with Gd and b in TiO_(2)with carbon incorporation and defect formation through incomplete *** specific surface area,grain size,and hydrophilicity of TiO_(2)are improved,which is beneficial for the interfacial reaction between the photocatalyst and *** reduction of the bandgap,the broadening of the photo-absorption range,and the retarded electron-hole recombination promote the photocatalytic performance due to the improved oxygen vacancies based on the electron distribution *** difference in partial density of states(ΔPDOS)between the current catalyst and raw TiO_(2)indicates that the co-doping of Gd and b with incomplete calcination changes the electronic h.b.idization of conduction band and valence band near the Fermi level,and affects the band gap *** improved charge separation and directional transport efficiency and benefited the formation of main active species,including•Oh and O_(2)•−,for the pollutant *** rate of photocatalytic removal of benzisothiazolinone(bIT)by the current photocatalyst reaches 1.25 h^(−1),being 4.31 times that of TiO_(2).The current work offers a constructive approach to the design and synthesis of nanostructured photocatalysts for the photocatalytic degradation of refractory organic pollutants.

Developing a novel quantitative parameter for characterizing spatial distribution of fish following exposure to chemicals and wastewater:behavioral Gini coefficient

While the spatial distribution pattern of fish is increasingly used for toxicological test o chemicals or wastewater,no ideal parameter is available for quantitative assessment of spa tial distribution,especially uneven distribution with multiple ***,to develop a quantitative assessment parameter for spatial distribution,the zebrafish were exposed to ethanol,pentylenetetrazole(PTZ),paraquat dichloride(paraquat)and wastewater,followed by a behavioral test in a narrow *** data was acquired and analyzed by id Tracker and *** comparing the effects of all treatments on behavior parameters we confirmed that the spatial distribution was more easily altered rather than general loco motor parameters,e.g.0.7-70 mg/L PTZ and 5-20 mg/L paraquat being effective for altering spatial distribution but having little effects on general locomotor *** on the heatmap,i.e.,the cumulative proportion of grids and that of frequency in grids,we calcu lated the behavioral Gini coefficient(G_(b))for quantitative assessment of fish spatial distri *** Gini coefficient ranged from zero to 1,with larger values meaning poorer even ness of spatial *** note,G_(b)showed smaller coefficient of variations(CV)with3%-19%between replicate tanks in all treatments than the highest frequency(4%-79%),dis playing well ***,G_(b)addressed the challenge of the complicated heatmap with multiple ***,the behavioral Gini coefficient we established is an idea parameter to quantitatively assess spatial distribution of fish shoal,which is expected to be applied in toxicity testing for chemicals and wastewater and automatic quality monitoring for surface water and aquaculture water.

Time-of-flight resolved stimulated Raman scattering microscopy using counter-propagating ultraslow bessel light bullets generation

We present a novel time-of-flight resolved bessel light bullet-enabled stimulated Raman scattering(b2-SRS)microscopy for deeper tissue 3D chemical imaging with high resolution without a need for mechanical *** accomplish the tasks,we conceive a unique method to enable optical sectioning by generating the counterpropagating pump and Stokes bessel light bullets in the sample,in which the group velocities of the bessel light bullets are made ultraslow(e.g.,vg≈0.1c)and tunable by introducing programmable angular dispersions with a spatial light *** theoretically analyze the working principle of the collinear multicolor bessel light bullet generations and velocity controls with the relative time-of-flight resolved detection for SRS 3D deep tissue *** have also built the b2-SRS imaging system and present the first demonstration of b2-SRS microscopy with.b.ssel light bullets for 3D chemical imaging in a variety of samples(e.g.,polymer bead phantoms,biological samples such as spring onion tissue and porcine brain)with high *** b2-SRS technique provides a>2-fold improvement in imaging depth in porcine brain tissue compared to conventional SRS *** method of optical sectioning in tissue using counter-propagating ultraslow bessel light bullets developed in b2-SRS is generic and easy to perform and can be readily extended to other nonlinear optical imaging modalities to advance 3D microscopic imaging in biological and biomedical systems and beyond.
