Extracellular membrane proteins are crucial for mediating cell attachment,recognition,and signal transduction in the testicular microenvironment,particularly germline stem *** 18(CDH18),a type Ⅱ classical cadherin,is primarily expressed in the nervous and reproductive ***,we investigated the expression of CDH18in neonatal porcine prospermatogonia(ProSGs)and murine spermatogonial stem cells(SSCs).Disruption of CDH18 expression did not adversely affect cell morphology,proliferation,self-renewal,or differentiation in cultured porcine ProSGs,but enhanced cell adhesion and prolonged cell *** analysis indicated that the down-regulation of CDH18 in ProSGs significantly up-regulated genes and signaling pathways associated with cell *** further elucidate the function of CDH18 in germ cells,Cdh18 knockout mice were generated,which exhibited normal testicular morphology,histology,*** analysis showed increased expression of genes associated with adhesion,consistent with the observations in porcine *** interaction of CDH18withβ-catenin and JAK2 in both porcine ProSGs and murine SSCs suggested an inhibitory effect on the canonical Wnt and JAK-STAT signaling pathways during CDH18 ***,these findings highlight the crucial role of CDH18 in regulating cell adhesion in porcine ProSGs and mouse *** this regulatory mechanism provides significant insights into the testicular niche.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)is the most common malignant cancer of the head and neck,with high morbidity and mortality,ranking as the sixth most common cancer in the *** treatment of OSCC is mainly radiotherapy,chemotherapy and surgery,however,the prognosis of patients is still poor and the recurrence rate is *** paper reviews the range of effects of natural medicinal plant active ingredients(NMPAIs)on OSCC cancer,including the types of NMPAIs,anti-cancer mechanisms,involved signaling pathways,and clinical *** NMPAIs include terpenoids,phenols,flavonoids,glycosides,alkaloids,coumarins,and volatile *** active ingredients inhibit proliferation,induce apoptosis and autophagy,inhibit migration and invasion of OSCC cells,and regulate cancer immunity to exert anti-cancer *** mechanism involves signaling pathways such as mitogen-activated protein kinase,phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase/protein kinase B,nuclear factor kappa B,miR-22/WNT1/β-catenin and Nrf2/***,NMPAIs can inhibit the growth of OSCC,and the combined drug is more *** medicinal plants are promising candidates for the treatment of OSCC.

Objective This study aimed to clarify the intervention effect of salidroside(SAL)on lung injury caused by PM_(2.5) in mice and illuminate the function of SIRT1-PGC-1ɑ*** Specific pathogen-free(SPF)grade male C57BL/6 mice were randomly assigned to the following groups:control group,SAL group,PM_(2.5) group,SAL+PM_(2.5) *** the first day,SAL was given by gavage,and on the second day,PM_(2.5) suspension was given by intratracheal *** whole experiment consist of a total of 10 cycles,lasting 20 *** the end of treatment,blood samples and lung tissues were collected and *** of pathological changes in lung tissue using inverted microscopy and transmission electron *** expression of inflammatory,antioxidants,apoptosis,and SIRT1-PGC-1ɑproteins were detected by Western *** Exposure to PM_(2.5) leads to obvious morphological and pathologica changes in the lung of ***_(2.5) caused a decline in levels of antioxidant-related enzymes and protein expressions of HO-1,Nrf2,SOD2,SIRT1 and PGC-1ɑ,and an increase in the protein expressions of IL-6,IL-1β,Bax,caspase-9 and cleaved ***,SAL reversed the aforementioned changes caused by PM_(2.5) by activating the SIRT1-PGC-1α *** SAL can activate SIRT1-PGC-1ɑ to ameliorate PM2.5-induced lung injury.

Ex vivo tissue culture of the human corpus cavernosum(cc)can be used to explore the tissue structural changes and complex signaling *** present,artificial Cc-like tissues based on acellular or three-dimensional(3D)-printed scaffolds are used to solve the scarcity of primary penis tissue ***,inconvenience and high costs limit the wide application of such ***,we describe a simple,fast,and economical method of constructing artificial CC-like *** Cc fibroblasts(FBs),endothelial cells(ECs),and smooth muscle cells(SMCs)were expanded in vitro and mixed with Matrigel in specific proportions.A large number of bubbles were formed in the mixture by vortexing combined with pipette blowing,creating a porous,spongy,and spatial *** Cc FBs produced a variety of signaling factors,showed multidirectional differentiation potential,and grew in a 3D grid in Matrigel,which is necessary for CC-like tissue to maintain a porous structure as a cell *** the C-like tissue,ECs covered the surface of the lumen,and SMCs were located inside the trabeculae,similar to the structure of the primary *** cell components remained stable for 3 days in vitro,but the EC content decreased on the 7th ***/integrated(WNT)signaling activation led to lumen atrophy and increased tissue fibrosis in CC-like tissue,inducing the same changes in characteristics as in the primary *** study describes a preparation method for human artificial cC-like tissue that may provide an improved experimental platform for exploring the function and structure of the cC and conducting drug screening for erectile dysfunction therapy.
