Based on the cosmological principle and quantum Yang-Mills gravity in the super-macroscopic limit, we obtain an exact recession velocity and cosmic redshift z, as measured in an inertial frame F≡F(t,x,y,z). For a matter-dominated universe, we have the effective cosmic metric tensor Gμν(t)=(B^2(t),-A^2(t),-A^2(t),-A^2(t)), A∝B∝t^1/2, where t has the operational meaning of time in F frame. We assume a cosmic action S≡Scos involving Gμν(t) and derive the ‘Okubo equation’ of motion, G^μν(t)■μS■νS-m^2=0, for a distant galaxy with mass m. This cosmic equation predicts an exact recession velocity, r=rH/[1/2+√1/4+r^2H^2/C0^2]in the inertial frame F. For small velocities, we have the usual Hubble's law r≈rH for recession velocities. Following the formulation of the accelerated Wu-Doppler effect, we investigate cosmic redshifts z as measured in F. it is natural to assume the massless Okubo equation, G^μν(t)■μψe■νψe=0, for light emitted from accelerated distant galaxies. Based on the principle of limiting continuation of physical laws, we obtain a transformation for covariant wave 4-vectors between and inertial and an accelerated frame, and predict a relationship for the exact recession velocity and cosmic redshift, z=[(1+Vr)/(1-Vr^2)1/2]-1, where Vr=r/Coin the inertial frame F. These predictions of the cosmic model are consistent with experiments for small velocities and should be further tested.

Recently,the institute for Radiological protection and Nuclear Safety(iRSN)has launched VSEAL(Vertical SEALing)project to investigate the impact of gas migration on the long-term performance of bentonite based vertical sealing systems(VSS).The first VSEAL in situ test was emplaced in iRSN’s Underground Research Laboratory(URL)in Tournemire(France)in 2019 and was equipped with 76 wired and wireless *** test is still in progress,but the collected set of data provides already valuable information of the hydro-mechanical behavior of VSS during *** swelling core consists of a mixture of highdensity pellets and powder of MX80 bentonite in a ratio of 80/20(in dry mass).An innovative method was adopted to drill a 1-m diameter and w10-m deep shaft in order to minimize the rock perturbation at the *** a specific protocol was adopted to install the bentonite mixture together with a careful characterization of the core during construction,VSEAL 1 constitutes the unique in situ sealing test with a well-known initial structural distribution of the pellets and the *** heterogeneities occurred within the experiment during the installation process:a damaged zone developed around the shaft walls due to the interruption of the installation operations caused by COViD19 lockdown in France;a technological gap with a variable thickness between the last pellets layer and the top confining lid and a heterogeneous distribution of the bentonite powder at some layers inducing large inter pellets voids close to the bentonite-rock *** injected water volume,relative humidity,water content and swelling pressure in both radial and axial directions were *** of the results showed that the presence of installation-induced heterogeneities led to the generation of preferential flow paths that influenced the swelling pressure evolution at radial and axial directions.

This paper describes a practical approach to identify nodal price compensation payment for nodal consumers willing to reduce their energy consumption(consumers’ demand response). The implementation of a nodal reliability service pricing is based on contingency assessment of N-2 order for transmission lines. A representative annualized demand curve is used to reflect the system’s operation condition by seasons. Such curve is used to access the nodal reliability impact trough a whole year in order to determine back-payments(incentive payment) to users for service interruption. The iEEE_RTS 24 nodes system is used to implement the proposed approach.

Flow-induced vegetation uprooting in a meandering bend:Experimental investigation

Vegetation uprooting is a complex process which depends on many interrelated factors. in this paper,attention is focused on the flow-induced uprooting in river bends, where the flow characteristics vary as effected by the channel's curvature and its continuous changing in the downstream direction. Results are presented by an experimental work done in a high-amplitude meandering flume with mature herbaceous vegetation on the bed. in the first part of the paper, the variation along the bend of the geometrical(length, thickness, and radical architecture) and the mechanical(resistance force) characteristics of the roots are analyzed. in the second part of the paper, the transition from the condition of vegetation distributed on the bed to the condition of vegetation uprooted by the flow is experimentally *** results show that the flow-induced uprooting varies along the bend depending on the roots' geometrical and mechanical characteristics which are, in turn, influenced by the variation of the water surface elevation along the bend itself. it has been found that lower values of the resistance force occur at the apex section where the roots are characterized by higher values of length and lower values of thickness and have radical apparatuses characterized by limited encumbrance, a high number of roots,and low bushyness. The flow-induced uprooting especially develops close to the outer bank along the channel reach between the bend entrance and the apex section, where the root resistance force and the water surface slope tend to decrease in value.

Pancreatic cancer is usually associated with a poor *** is the main curative treatment but pancreatic operations are aggressive and new tools that help clinicians to predict surgical and prognostic outcomes are *** et al recently published a retrospective,single centre cohort study evaluating the impact of seven nutritional and inflammatory markers in pancreatic cancer surgical patients:The albumin-to-globulin ratio,prognostic nutritional index(PNi),systemic immune-inflammation index(Sii),neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR),nutritional risk index,and the geriatric nutritional risk index.A significant correlation was found between the PNi,Sii,NLR,and PLR and a hospital discharge of less than 15 *** a univariable analysis,PNi,Sii,NLR and PLR were significantly related to recurrence-free survival and,in a multivariable analysis PNi was associated with overall *** meta-analyses corroborate the results in terms of prognosis but individual studies are discordant on their ***,the cut-off values for these markers vary significantly between studies and there are no clinical trials comparing them to identify the most relevant *** are limitations when implementing nutritional and inflammatory biomarkers into clinical practice and further studies are needed in order to answer these questions.
