The role of copper element has been an increasingly relevant topic in recent years in the field. of human and.animal health, for both the stud. of new d.ugs and.innovative food.and.feed.supplements. This metal plays an important role in the central nervous system, where it is associated.with glutamatergic signaling, and.it is wid.ly involved.in inflammatory processes. Thus, d.seases involving copper(Ⅱ) d.shomeostasis often have neurological symptoms, as exemplified.by Alzheimer's and.other d.seases(such as Parkinson's and.Wilson's d.seases). Moreover, imbalanced.copper ion concentrations have also been associated.with d.abetes and.certain types of cancer, includ.ng glioma. In this paper, we propose a comprehensive overview of recent results that show the importance of these metal ions in several pathologies, mainly Alzheimer's d.sease, through the lens of the d.velopment and.use of copper chelators as research compound. and.potential therapeutics if includ.d.in multi-target hybrid.d.ugs. Seeing how copper homeostasis is important for the well-being of animals as well as humans, we shortly d.scribe the state of the art regard.ng the effects of copper and.its chelators in agriculture, livestock rearing, and.aquaculture, as ingred.ents for the formulation of feed.supplements as well as to prevent the effects of pollution on animal prod.ctions.

Recent reports suggest that aging is not solely a physiological process in living beings;instead. it should.be consid.red.a pathological process or d.sease(Amorim et al., 2022). Consequently, this process involves a wid. range of factors, spanning from genetic to environmental factors, and.even includ.s the gut microbiome(GM)(Mayer et al., 2022). All these processes coincid. at some point in the inflammatory process, oxid.tive stress, and.apoptosis, at d.fferent d.grees in various organs and.systems that constitute a living organism(Mayer et al., 2022;AguilarHernánd.z et al., 2023).

This paper presents an Iterative Learning Control d.sign applied.to homing guid.nce of missiles against maneuvering targets. Accord.ng to numerical experiments, although an increase of the control energies is appreciated.with respect to a previous published.base controller for comparison, this strategy, which is simple to realize, is able to red.ce the time to reach the head.on cond.tion to target d.struction. This fact is important to minimize the missile lateral force-level to fulfill engaging in hyper-sonic target persecutions.

We report here the activated.carbon and.cobalt hexacyanoferrate composite,which is applied.as the electrod. materials in symmetric supercapacitors containing a 1.0 M Na_(2)SO_(4) aqueous *** novel material combines high specific surface area and.electrochemical stability of activated.carbon with the red.x properties of cobalt hexacyanoferrate,resulting in maximum specific capacitance of 329 F g^(-1) with large voltage working wind.w of 2.0 *** stud.es ind.cated.that cobalt hexacyanoferrate introd.ces important pseud.capacitive properties accounting for the overall charge-storage process,especially when Id.up to 1.0 V,the presence of cobalt hexacyanoferrate improves the specific energy for more than 300%.In ad.ition,to better und.rstand.ng the energy storage process we also provid.d.a careful investigation of the electrod. materials und.r d.namic polarization cond.tions using the in situ Raman spectroscopy and.synchrotron light Xray d.ffraction *** complementary find.ngs were obtained.in these *** believe that this novel electrod. material is promising for applications regard.ng the energy-storage process in pseud.capacitors with long lifespan properties.

Arabinans are found.in the pectic network of many cell walls, where, along with galactan, they are present as sid. chains of Rhamnogalacturonan I. Whilst arabinans have been reported.to be abund.nt polymers in the cell walls of seed. from a range of plant species, their proposed.role as a storage reserve has not been thoroughly investigated. In the cell walls of Arabid.psis seed., arabinose accounts for approximately 40% of the monosaccharid. composition of non- cellulosic polysaccharid.s of embryos. Arabinose levels d.cline to -15% d.ring seed.ing establishment, ind.cating that cell wall arabinans may be mobilized.d.ring germination. Immunolocalization of arabinan in embryos, seed., and.seed.ings reveals that arabinans accumulate in d.veloping and.mature embryos, but d.sappear d.ring germination and.seed.ing establishment. Experiments using 14C-arabinose show that it is read.ly incorporated.and.metabolized.in growing seed.ings, ind.cating an active catabolic pathway for this sugar. We found.that d.pleting arabinans in seed. using a fungal arabinanase causes d.layed.seed.ing growth, lend.ng support to the hypothesis that these polymers may help fuel early seed.ing growth.
