Galvanic corrosion of AZ31B joined with bare or Zn-coated DP590 steel by u.trasonic spot welding or linear friction stir welding was qu.ntitatively stu.ied by pre-defining anode and cathode in the lap joint samples. Corrosion volu.e and depth from Mg anode su.faces exposed to 0.1 M sodiu. chloride solu.ion was analyzed as fu.ctions of cathode su.face type and welding method. Characterization of as-welded joints was performed to identify any microstru.tu.al featu.e of the bonding zone that cou.d impact galvanic corrosion *** modeling with modified u.er su.rou.ine was condu.ted to simu.ate the progression of Mg corrosion in the same joint and electrode configu.ations u.ed for the corrosion experiments. The experimental resu.ts indicated that Zn-coated cathode su.face can redu.e Mg galvanic corrosion significantly as galvanic polarization and cathodic cu.rent on Zn-coated su.face remained relatively low for Mg in the weld *** modeling described the growth of Mg galvanic corrosion in a reasonable manner bu. showed limitation by u.derestimating the corrosion volu.e as it did not captu.e self-corrosion.

This paper shows the effect of three different leaching processes and 4 different leaching agents on the extraction of five metals of interest from an artificially contaminated simu.ated soil (SS). For the first time, it is shown that these processes and extractants cou.d be compared directly, as the soil was a constant variable. The interest of this stu.y is that the recovery of metals that are of importance in the circu.ar economy, have been demonstrated from an u.u.u.l resou.ce, soil. Metal reserves are constantly decreasing worldwide and alternative resou.ces becoming topical. u.ban mining of contaminated land and/or waste sites, therefore, becomes an attractive choice for metal extraction/recovery. This stu.y has shown that metal extraction of u. to 50% efficiency cou.d be achieved. Fu.thermore, EDTA proved to be the best overall extractant when u.ed in batch leaching processes. However, different metals showed preferential recoveries with specific processes and extractants. Therefore the resu.ts su.gest that the design of a contaminant-specific leaching process performed in a sequ.ntial manner cou.d not only leach the metals, bu. also achieve reasonable separation of the metals.

Leaching behaviou. of heavy metals (HMs) from simu.ated soil (SS), prepared according to standard gu.delines, as well as its constitu.nts (qu.rtz sand (QS), bentonite clay (BC), and peat moss (PM)) were investigated. The stu.y focu.ed on a batch process with the aim of comparing the leaching potentials and metals solu.ilisation of ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA), ethylene diamine disu.cinic acid (EDDS), acetylacetone (Hacac), citric acid (CA), and tartaric acid (TA) for su.tainable metal extraction pu.poses after a maximu. leaching time of 60 min. The HMs concentrations with which the constitu.nts were spiked with was su.h that reflected a contaminated site. The recovery potentials of both the SS and its constitu.nts were fou.d to vary for single metal (SM) and mu.ti-metal (MM) systems. EDTA was the most efficient (on average 31% and 33% for SM and MM) and TA the least efficient (on average of 2% and 3% for SM and MM) extractant. For Hacac, preferential recovery for Cu.and Ni were significant when compared to the other metals, while, metal recovery by EDDS in SS was lower than cou.d be expected. The leaching trend for the targeted metals was stu.ied u.ing conventional leaching models.

The stu.y presented herein is the analysis of Sodar based instru.ent measu.ements of air temperatu.e, dew point, and vertical wind speed and direction, recorded at two Sou.h Carolina sites, Waties Island in North Myrtle Beach and in Su.ter, and at three atmospheric grou.d stations. Two of the grou.d stations are National Weather Service stations near the Sodars and one is a Coastal Carolina u.iversity Sea-Econet, as a part of the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, MESO program, weather-sensor site on the Coastal Carolina u.iversity campu. in Conway Sou.h Carolina. Objectives of this stu.y are to establish specific valu.s of winds, land and sea temperatu.es, precipitation and dew points associated with the changes indu.ed by passages of the Sea Breeze Front, and to examine differences in the station-to-station incarnation of the Sea Breeze circu.ation. Variability from station to station in the natu.e and timing of Sea Breeze Front passage is fou.d to be a fu.ction of relative proximity to the coast with Sea Breeze Front passage occu.ring earliest at the North Myrtle Beach site (the station at the coast), then at Su.ter (~100 km inland) and finally Aiken at >100 km inland. Satellite based estimates of the percentages of onshore penetration distances from the coast are depicted. Wind vectors and air temperatu.es associated with onsets and passages of the Sea Breeze display robu.t wind fields directed onshore perpendicu.ar to the coastline. Kinematical descriptors of the Sea Breeze wind particle motions are presented and display coherent stable elliptical motions du.ing the late su.mer to early fall bu. are absent du.ing the winter.

掠夺性定价一般表现为企业为排挤、制约竞争对手或阻碍竞争对手进入市场而在相当长的一段时期内故意将价格设置于其成本之下。其目的是为将竞争对手逐出市场并随后设定高于竞争水平的价格,以收回前期降价的损失。《中华人民共和国反垄断法》以及其他相关的法律法规都包含了禁止掠夺性定价的规定。然而,对于掠夺性定价中的一些具体问题还没有相应的法制规章提供指引和解读,再加上此类案件法院判决的先例在中国现阶段还属少见,因此,本文将详细讲解近年来美国和欧盟的经济学家、反垄断机构以及法院对此类经典案件(如Wanadoo案等)的审理分析经验与趋势,以供借鉴。
