Multiscale observation in wide-spatial radar surveillance based on coherent FDA design

Wide-spatial radar surveillance missions are challenging tasks, requiring an increased power budget and agility in transmission aimed at extracting information from multiple targets in different environments. These requirements necessitate high transmitting degrees of freedom(DOF) to achieve the objective of multiscale observation for specific tasks in specialized regions of interest. Herein, we exploit the multiscale observation ability in wide-spatial radar surveillance based on frequency diverse array(FDA)radar. The proposed method facilitates spatial anisotropic control of multiple radar resources, including the transmitting waveforms, beampattern, and bandwidth. By utilizing a coherent FDA radar, we offer principles for the selection of baseband waveforms, in addition to the quantitative design of the beampattern gain and optimal bandwidth from the perspective of detection. The feasibility of the proposed method is validated through numerical experiments, thus indicating the potential in wide-spatial radar surveillance. Moreover,this work can be regarded as a preliminary attempt to gauge the efficacy of the computational array, a novel academic concept.

Bone age assessment(BAA)helps doctors determine how a child’s bones grow and develop in clinical medicine.Traditional BAA methods rely on clinician expertise,leading to time-consuming predictions and inaccurate results.Most deep learning-based BAA methods feed the extracted critical points of images into the network by providing additional annotations.This operation is costly and subjective.To address these problems,we propose a multi-scale attentional densely connected network(MSADCN)in this *** constructs a multi-scale dense connectivity mechanism,which can avoid overfitting,obtain the local features effectively and prevent gradient vanishing even in limited training data.First,MSADCN designs multi-scale structures in the densely connected network to extract fine-grained features at different scales.Then,coordinate attention is embedded to focus on critical features and automatically locate the regions of interest(ROI)without additional annotation.In addition,to improve the model’s generalization,transfer learning is applied to train the proposed MSADCN on the public dataset IMDB-WIKI,and the obtained pre-trained weights are loaded onto the Radiological Society of North America(RSNA)dataset.Finally,label distribution learning(LDL)and expectation regression techniques are introduced into our model to exploit the correlation between hand bone images of different ages,which can obtain stable age estimates.Extensive experiments confirm that our model can converge more efficiently and obtain a mean absolute error(MAE)of 4.64 months,outperforming some state-of-the-art BAA methods.

Influenza A virus(IAV)binds sialic acid receptors on the cell surface to enter the host cells,which is the key step in initiating infection,transmission and pathogenesis.Understanding the factors that contribute to the highly efficient entry of IAV into human cells will help elucidate the mechanism of viral entry and pathogenicity,and provide new targets for intervention.In the present study,we reported a novel membrane protein,C1QTNF5,which binds to the hemagglutinin protein of IAV and promotes IAV infection in vitro and in vivo.We found that the HA1 region of IAV hemagglutinin is critical for the interaction with C1QTNF5 protein,and C1QTNF5 interacts with hemagglutinin mainly through its N-terminus(1–103 aa).In addition,we further demonstrated that overexpression of C1QTNF5 promotes IAV entry,while blocking the interaction between C1QTNF5 and IAV hemagglutinin greatly inhibits viral entry.However,C1QTNF5 does not function as a receptor to mediate IAV infection in sialic acid-deficient CHO-Lec2 cells,but promotes IAV to attach to these cells,suggesting that C1QTNF5 is an important attachment factor for IAV.This work reveals C1QTNF5 as a novel IAV attachment factor and provides a new perspective for antiviral strategies.

With the rapid development of autonomous vehicles,more and more functions and computing requirements have led to the continuous centralization in the topology of electrical and electronic(E/E)architectures.While certain Tier1 suppliers,such as BOSCH,have previously proposed a serial roadmap for E/E architecture development,implemented since 2015 with significant contributions to the automotive industry,lingering misconceptions and queries persist in actual engineering processes.Notably,there are concerns regarding the perspective of zone-oriented E/E architectures,characterized by zonal concentration,as successors to domain-oriented E/E architectures,known for functional concentration.Addressing these misconceptions and queries,this study introduces a novel parallel roadmap for E/E architecture development,concurrently evaluating domain-oriented and zone-oriented schemes.Furthermore,the study explores hybrid E/E architectures,amalgamating features from both paradigms.To align with the evolution of E/E architectures,networking technologies must adapt correspondingly.The networking mechanisms pivotal in E/E architecture design are comprehensively discussed.Additionally,the study delves into modeling and verification tools pertinent to E/E architecture topologies.In conclusion,the paper outlines existing challenges and unresolved queries in this domain.

Deoximation is an important transformation in synthetic industry.It can be employed in protection,characterization and purification of the carbonyls,and in the synthesis of ketones from non-carbonyl molecules.In the field,oxidative deoximation reaction can utilize the driving force caused by the oxidation process so that the reaction can occur under relatively mild conditions.Recently,we designed and prepared polyaniline-supported molybdenum(Mo@PANI)just by immersing PANI into the EtOH/H_(2)O solution of MoCl_(5).The material was successfully applied as the efficient catalyst for oxidative deoximation reactions,which were performed in ethanol using H_(2)O_(2)as the clean oxidant.The substrate scope of the reaction was wide.It could be applied on heterocycle-containing substrates,making this protocol preferable for pharmaceutical intermediate synthesis.Since Mo is a necessary trace element for both animals and plants,this method is environment-friendly and is suitable for large-scale preparation.This work as the first example of Mo-catalyzed oxidative deoximation reaction may inspire novel ideas for both catalyst design and synthetic process development.

In the classification problem, deep kernel extreme learning machine(DKELM) has the characteristics of efficient processing and superior performance, but its parameters optimization is difficult. To improve the classification accuracy of DKELM, a DKELM algorithm optimized by the improved sparrow search algorithm(ISSA), named as ISSA-DKELM, is proposed in this paper. Aiming at the parameter selection problem of DKELM, the DKELM classifier is constructed by using the optimal parameters obtained by ISSA optimization. In order to make up for the shortcomings of the basic sparrow search algorithm(SSA), the chaotic transformation is first applied to initialize the sparrow position. Then, the position of the discoverer sparrow population is dynamically adjusted. A learning operator in the teaching-learning-based algorithm is fused to improve the position update operation of the joiners. Finally, the Gaussian mutation strategy is added in the later iteration of the algorithm to make the sparrow jump out of local optimum. The experimental results show that the proposed DKELM classifier is feasible and effective, and compared with other classification algorithms, the proposed DKELM algorithm aciheves better test accuracy.

Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)is an aggressive subtype characterized by extensive tumor heterogeneity,with limited treatment options and a poor prognosis.1 We used cell type annotation and trajectory analysis to identify two distinct differentiation states of epithelial cells,while tumor cells predominantly resided on one of these branches.Inferring the malignant state of epithelial cells based on copy number variation,280 tumor cells were eventually identified from epithelial cells.Differential genes between tumor cells and non-tumor cells were mainly enriched in immune-related functions and pathways.

Soil acidifications become one of the main causes restricting the sustainable development of agriculture and causing issues of agricultural product safety.In order to explore the effect of different acidification on soil cadmium(Cd)availability,soil pot culture and hydroponic(soil potting solution extraction)were applied,and non-invasive micro-test technique(NMT)was combined.Here three different soil acidification processes were simulated,including direct acidification by adding sulfuric acid(AP1),acid rain acidification(AP2)by adding artificial simulated acid rain and excessive fertilization acidification by adding(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)(AP3).The results showed that for direct acidification(AP1),DTPA-Cd concentration in field soils in Liaoning(S1)and Zhejiang(S2)increased by 0.167-0.217 mg/kg and 0.181-0.346 mg/kg,respectively,compared with control group.When soil pH decreased by 0.45 units in S1,the Cd content of rice stems,leaves and roots increased by 0.48 to 6.04 mg/kg and 2.58 to 12.84mg/kg,respectively,When the pH value of soil S1 and S2 decreased by 0.20 units,the average velocity of Cd^(2+)at 200μm increased by 10.03-33.11 pmol/cm~2/sec and 21.33-52.86pmol/cm^(2)/sec,respectively,and followed the order of AP3>AP2>AP1.In summary,different acidification measures would improve the effectiveness of Cd,under the same pH reduction condition,fertilization acidification increased Cd availability most significantly.

Experimental study on ice monitoring method for 10 kV transmission line with tangent tower in alpine landform

Ice monitoring methods were applied for 110 kV and above transmission lines with tangent towers.However,the change in the vertical span is not considered,and a significant difference lies in the tower-conductor structure of 10 kV transmission lines.For this reason,a proposal is made about the ice monitoring method for the 10 kV transmission line with tangent tower in alpine landform,which includes the ice monitoring system based on pressure measurement and corresponding equivalent ice thickness calculating methods.Different methods calculate the vertical span under different height difference coefficients.A finite element simulation model and a simulated ice load experiment system are established based on real conductors and insulators.Experiments and simulations under four simulated terrains are conducted within 2.5–20 mm ice thickness range.The comparison is made between this method and the method without considering the change in vertical span.The results show that the two methods are consistent and the relative errors are lower than�4%in simulation and�10%in experiment when the height difference coefficient is 0.When it is not 0,the relative errors of this method fall between t0.38%and t6.78%in simulation and−6.40%to t6.60%in experiment,while the relative errors of the method without considering the change in vertical span ranges between−11.13%and−20.23%in simulation and−11.65%to−23.20%in experiment.
