Effects of acid deposition control in China:a review based on responses of subtropical forests

For many decades,acid deposition used to pose a significant regional air pollution challenge in *** substantial emission control of anthropogenically derived sulfur and nitrogen containing gasses,both sulfur and nitrogen deposition,as well as the acid rain-affected area,have significantly decreased compared to their peak ***,particularly in the humid subtropics,are sensitive to acid deposition,as evidenced by soil acidification,sulfate and nitrate leaching in stream water,and elevated soil nitrous oxide *** in the total deposition of sulfur and nitrogen,caused a significant decline in sulfate and nitrate leaching from subtropical forest and subsequently in sulfate and nitrate concentrations in stream water,although there was about a 5-year *** delay may be attributed to the desorption of accumulated sulfate and continued elevated mineralization of accumulated nitrogen *** of nitrous oxide,a potent greenhouse gas,also declined in nitrogen-saturated subtropical forest soils,as soil water nitrate concentration ***,subtropical forests in China suffering from elevated acid deposition have begun to ***,the current levels of sulfur and nitrogen deposition continue to exceed the critical loads,i.e.,the assigned threshold levels in accordance with emission control policies,in more than 10%of the country’s land area,respectively,indicating remaining risks of acidification and ***,further emission reductions are urgently needed,also because they will help achieving goals related to air quality and nitrous oxide emissions.

The Ti/Al/Ti clad plates exhibit a broad spectrum of potential ***,the conventional techniques of hot-pressing composite and explosive composite are intricate and environmentally hazardous.A novel method was introduced for preparing clad plates,namely,the powder-in-tube *** method involves a combination of cold rolling,annealing at a temperature of 550℃,and double *** morphology of the intermetallic compound layer was analyzed through the utilization of interface stripping test,tensile test,and microscopic *** interface morphology,interface bonding properties,tensile fracture structures,and properties of plates under the first and second rolling were compared,along with the effects of intermetallic compounds on the interface *** results indicate that the powder-in-tube method,when annealed at 550℃,can produce a composite plate featuring a complete and uniform Ti/Al *** obtained plate exhibits a peeling strength of 21.5 N/mm,tensile strength of 424 MPa,and elongation of 11.5%.Furthermore,a systematic analysis was conducted to determine the causes of performance degra-dation observed during annealing at temperatures of 600 and 650℃.

Hot gas ingestion refers to the phenomenon of mainstream hot gas flowing into the space cavity of a turbine *** studies have found that mainstream annulus pressure distribution plays an important role in hot gas ingestion,but due to its complexity,the mechanism of the interaction between mainstream flow and hot gas ingestion remains *** paper adopts the URANS method,and three sealing flow rates are considered,named C_(w)=0,C_(w)=500,and C_(w)=*** time-averaged annulus pressure distribution shows that an increase in the sealing flow decreases the pressure value,and the effects of the sealing flow on the pressure distribution of the leading edge of the blade are much more influential than that of the trailing edge of the *** unsteady pressure time-space distribution in the annulus indicates that a time-space tilted distribution of pressure at the rim exits when the sealing flow *** phenomenon is mainly due to the strong feedback mechanism of the sealing flow to the annulus pressure field.A comparison of the pressure and mean radial velocity distribution of the mainstream shows that the ingestion mainly occurs on the blade side,where the pressure is lower than on the vane *** flow characteristics at the wheel rim are analyzed with a sealing flow rate C_(w)=5000,and under these conditions,both pressure-induced ingestion and ingestion caused by a passage vortex can be *** three-dimensional and inertial effects of the mainstream at the wheel rim lead to the generation of separation vortices on the blade side,and the presence of separation vortices leads to ingestion along the blade *** the same time,pressure on the blade side will cause the fluid to have a radial inward flow tendency,which will promote the formation of separation vortices,leading to more serious ingestion in the high-pressure region on the blade *** blade pressure field can be more significant than the vane trailing pressure field in the rim sea

To enhance the comprehensive performance of artillery internal ballistics—encompassing power,accuracy,and service life—this study proposed a multi-stage multidisciplinary design optimization(MS-MDO)***,the comprehensive artillery internal ballistic dynamics(AIBD)model,based on propellant combustion,rotation band engraving,projectile axial motion,and rifling wear models,was established and *** model was systematically decomposed into subsystems from a system engineering *** study then detailed the MS-MDO methodology,which included Stage I(MDO stage)employing an improved collaborative optimization method for consistent design variables,and Stage II(Performance Optimization)focusing on the independent optimization of local design variables and performance *** methodology was applied to the AIBD *** demonstrated that the MS-MDO method in Stage I effectively reduced iteration and evaluation counts,thereby accelerating system-level ***,Stage II optimization markedly enhanced overall *** comprehensive evaluation results affirmed the effectiveness of the MS-MDO method.

Smac/DIABLO (second mitochondria-derived activator of caspase/direct IAP-binding proteinwith low PI) is a 29 kDa mitochondrial precursor protein,which is proteolytically processed in mitochondriainto a 23 kDa mature *** is released from the mitochondrial intermembrane space to cytosol after anapoptotic ***/DIABLO acts as a dimer and it contributes to caspase activation by sequestering theinhibitor of apoptosis proteins (IAPs).In order to further investigate the mechanism of Smac/DIABLOaction,we used the mature form of Smac/DIABLO as a bait and screened proteins that interact with matureSmac/DIABLO in human liver cDNA library using the yeast two-hybrid ***-two colonies wereobtained after 5.8x 10～6 colonies were screened by nutrition limitation and X-galactosidase *** DNAsequence analysis and homology retrieval,one of the candidate proteins was identified as TRAF domain ofthe TNF receptor associated factor 3 (TRAF3).The interaction site between TRAF3 and Smac/DIABLOwas identified by β-galactosidase test. The interaction between TRAF3 and Smac/DIABLO via TRAF domainwas identified in vivo by co-immunoprecipitation in HepG2 cells,and the direct interaction between TRAF3and Smac/DIABLO in vitro was identified by GST-pull down ***-expression of TRAF3 and matureSmac/DIABLO in 293 cells could enhance the Smac/DIABLO-mediated *** results suggestedthat TRAF3 interacted with Smac/DIABLO via TRAF domain,leading to an increased proapoptotic effectof Smac/DIABLO in cytoplasm.

Oscillation detection has been a hot research topic in industries due to the high incidence of oscillation loops and their negative impact on plant *** numerous automatic detection techniques have been proposed,most of them can only address part of the practical *** oscillation is heuristically defined as a visually apparent periodic ***,manual visual inspection is labor-intensive and prone to missed *** neural networks(CNNs),inspired by animal visual systems,have been raised with powerful feature extraction *** this work,an exploration of the typical CNN models for visual oscillation detection is ***,we tested MobileNet-V1,ShuffleNet-V2,Efficient Net-B0,and GhostNet models,and found that such a visual framework is well-suited for oscillation *** feasibility and validity of this framework are verified utilizing extensive numerical and industrial *** with state-of-theart oscillation detectors,the suggested framework is more straightforward and more robust to noise and *** addition,this framework generalizes well and is capable of handling features that are not present in the training data,such as multiple oscillations and outliers.

Pore-pressure and stress-coupled creep behavior in deep coal:Insights from real-time NMR analysis

Understanding the variations in microscopic pore-fracture structures(MPFS) during coal creep under pore pressure and stress coupling is crucial for coal mining and effective gas treatment. In this manuscript, a triaxial creep test on deep coal at various pore pressures using a test system that combines in-situ mechanical loading with real-time nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) detection was ***-scale quantitative characterization, online real-time detection, and visualization of MPFS during coal creep influenced by pore pressure and stress coupling were performed using NMR and NMR imaging(NMRI) techniques. The results revealed that seepage pores and microfractures(SPM) undergo the most significant changes during coal creep, with creep failure gradually expanding from dense primary pore fractures. Pore pressure presence promotes MPFS development primarily by inhibiting SPM compression and encouraging adsorption pores(AP) to evolve into SPM. Coal enters the accelerated creep stage earlier at lower stress levels, resulting in more pronounced creep deformation. The connection between the micro and macro values was established, demonstrating that increased porosity at different pore pressures leads to a negative exponential decay of the viscosity coefficient. The Newton dashpot in the ideal viscoplastic body and the Burgers model was improved using NMR experimental results, and a creep model that considers pore pressure and stress coupling using variable-order fractional operators was developed. The model’s reasonableness was confirmed using creep experimental data. The damagestate adjustment factors ω and β were identified through a parameter sensitivity analysis to characterize the effect of pore pressure and stress coupling on the creep damage characteristics(size and degree of difficulty) of coal.
