Digitalization has changed the way of information processing, and newtechniques of legal data processing are evolving. Text mining helps to analyze andsearch different court cases available in the form of digital text documents toextract case reasoning and related data. This sort of case processing helps professionals and researchers to refer the previous case with more accuracy in reducedtime. The rapid development of judicial ontologies seems to deliver interestingproblem solving to legal knowledge formalization. Mining context informationthrough ontologies from corpora is a challenging and interesting field. Thisresearch paper presents a three tier contextual text mining framework throughontologies for judicial corpora. This framework comprises on the judicial corpus,text mining processing resources and ontologies for mining contextual text fromcorpora to make text and data mining more reliable and fast. A top-down ontologyconstruction approach has been adopted in this paper. The judicial corpus hasbeen selected with a sufficient dataset to process and evaluate the *** experimental results and evaluations show significant improvements incomparison with the available techniques.

Satellite image data and thematic map data were used to provide comprehensive views of surface-bound conditions such as soil and vegetation degradation. The current work applies a computerized parametric methodology, developed by FAO, UNEP and UNESCO to assess and evaluate soil degradation at 1∶250 000 mapping scale. The study area is located in the arid and semi-arid zone of the northern part of Shaanxi Province in China, a region with considerable agricultural potential; landsat TM images were utilized to provide recent data on land cover and use of the area. ARC/INFO and ArcView softwares were used to manage and manipulate thematic data, to process satellite images, and tabular data source. ER mapper software is utilized to derive the normalized difference vegetation index (ND VI) values while field data to estimate soil erodibility ( SE ) factor. A system is established for rating soil parameters, slope, climate factor and human factor activity. The rating values serve as inputs into a modified universal soil loss equation (USlE) to calculate the present state and risk for soil degradation processes, namely soil wind erosion. The produced maps and tabular data show the risk and the present status of different soil degradation processes. The study area, in general, is exposed to high risk of wind erosion and high hazards of water erosion. Several desertification maps were produced, which reflect the desertification types persisting in the study area. Wind erosion, water erosion, vegetation degradation, physical degradation and salinization are the basic desertification maps, and others are combinations of these basic maps. In terms of statistic analysis, 33.75 % of the total land area (120.330 0 ha) is considered as sand or sand dune, and not included in our analysis of desertification. About 29.41 % of the total land area has slight or moderate desertification and 37.465 % is facing severe desertification.

Exteriorized colon anastomosis for unprepared bowel: An alternative to routine colostomy

AIM: To see the possibility of avoiding routine colostomy in patients presenting with unprepared bowel. METHODS: The cohort is composed of 103 patients, of these, 86 patients presented as emergencies (self- inflected and iatrogenic colon injuries, stab wounds and blast injury of the colon, volvulus sigmoid, obstructing left colon cancer, and strangulated ventral hernia). Another 17 patients were managed electively for other colon pathologies. During laparotomy, the involved segment was resected and the two ends of the colon were brought out via a separate colostomy wound. One layer of interrupted 3/0 silk was used for colon anastomosis. The exteriorized segment was immediately covered with a colostomy bag. Between the 5th and 7th postoperative day, the colon was easily dropped into the peritoneal cavity. The defect in the abdominal wall was closed with interrupted nonabsorbable suture. The skin was left open for secondary closure. RESUlTS: The mean hospital stay (± SD) was 11.5 ± 2.6 d (8-20 d). The exteriorized colon was successfully dropped back into the peritoneal cavity in all patients except two. One developed a leak from oesophago- jejunostomy and from the exteriorized colon. She subsequently died of sepsis and multiple organ failure (MOF). In a second patient the colon proximal to the exteriorized anastomosis prolapsed and developed severe serositis, an elective ileo-colic anastomosis (to the left colon) was successfully performed. CONClUSION: Exteriorized colon anastomosis is simple, avoids the inconvenience of colostomy and can be an alternative to routine colostomy. It is suitable where colostomy is socially unacceptable or the facilities and care is not available.

This paper proposes a sectionalizing planning for parallel power system restoration after a complete system *** restoration is conducted in order to reduce the total restoration process *** and operation knowledge of the system,operating personnel experience,and computer simulation are combined in this planning to improve the system restoration and serve as a guidance for system operators/*** planning is obtained using discrete evolutionary programming optimization method assisted by heuristic initialization and graph theory *** of transmission lines that should not be restored during parallel restoration process(cut set)is determined in order to sectionalize the system into subsystems or *** island with almost similar restoration time is set as an objective function so as to speed up the resynchronization of the *** operation and constraints(black start generator availability,load-generation balance and maintaining acceptable voltage magnitude within each island)is also takeninto account in the course of this *** method is validated using the IEEE 39-bus and 118-bus *** results in terms of restoration time was compared to other methods reported in the literature.

livestock image segmentation is an important task in the field of vision and image *** utilizing the concentration of forage in the grazing area with shielding the surrounding farm plants and crops is necessary for making effective cattle ranch arrangements,there is a need for a segmentation method that can handle multiple objects ***,the indistinct boundaries and irregular shapes of cattle bodies discourage the application of the existing Mask Region-based Convolutional Neural Network(Mask R-CNN)which was primarily modeled for the segmentation of natural *** address this,an enhanced Mask R-CNN model was proposed for multiple objects instance segmentation to support indistinct boundaries and irregular shapes of cattle bodies for precision livestock *** contributions of this method are in multiple folds:1)optimal filter size smaller than a residual network for extracting smaller and composite features;2)region proposals for utilizing multiscale semantic features;3)Mask R-CNN’s fully connected layer integrated with sub-network for an enhanced *** experiment conducted on pre-processed datasets produced a mean average precision(mAP)of 0.93,which was higher than the results from the existing state-of-the-art models.

Silymarin-laden PVP-PEG polymeric composite for enhanced aqueous solubility and dissolution rate: Preparation and in vitro characterization

The aim of this work was to develop, optimize and characterize a silymarin-laden polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)-polyethylene glycol(PEG) polymeric composite to resolve low aqueous solubility and dissolution rate problem of the drug. A number of silymarin-laden polymeric formulations were fabricated with different quantities of PVP K-30 and PEG 6000 by the solvent-evaporation method. The effect of PVP K-30 and PEG 6000 on the aqueous solubility and dissolution rate was investigated. The optimized formulation and its constituents were characterized using powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD), differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) techniques. Both the PEG 6000 and PVP K-30 positively affected the aqueous solubility and dissolution rate of the drug. In particular, a formulation consisting of silymarin, PVP K-30 and PEG 6000(0.25/1.5/1.5, w/w/w) furnished the highest solubility(24.3972.95 mg/ml) and an excellent dissolution profile( $100% in 40 min). The solubility enhancement with this formulation was $ 1150-fold as compared to plain silymarin powder. Moreover, all the constituents existed in the amorphous state in this silymarin-laden PVP-PEG polymeric composite. Accordingly, this formulation might be a promising tool to administer silymarin with an enhanced effect via the oral route.

Deposition of amorphous particles, as a prevalent problem particularly in the spray drying of fruit and vegetable juices, is due to low-molecular-weight sugars and is strongly dependent on the condition of the particles upon collision with the dryer wall. This paper investigates the condition of the amorphous particles impacting the wall at different drying conditions with the aim of elucidating the deposition mechanism and physical phenomena in the drying chamber. A model sucrose-maltodextrin solution was used to represent the low-molecular-weight sugar. Particle deposits were collected on sampling plates placed inside the dryer for analyses of moisture content, particle rigidity (using SEM) and size distribution. Moisture content was adopted as a general indicator of stickiness. Product particles collected at the bottom of the experimental dryer were found to have higher moisture than particle deposits on samplers inside the dryer. Moisture content profile in the dryer shows that apart from the atomizer region, where particles are relatively wet, particle deposits at other regions exhibit similar lower moisture content. At the highest temperature adopted in the experiments, particles became rubbery suggesting liquid-bridge formation as the dominant deposition mechanism. Further analysis on particles size distribution reveals a particle segregation mechanism whereby smaller particles follow preferentially to the central air stream while larger particles tend to re-circulate in the chamber, as predicted in past CFD simulation. The findings from this work will form the basis and provide validating data for further modeling of wall deposition of amorphous particles in spray drying using CFD.

We reported a case of 79-year old woman with known large bowel diverticulosis presenting with small bowel obstruction due to stone impaction - found on plain abdominal *** studies demonstrated small bowel *** laparotomy, the gall bladder was normal with no stones and no abnormal communication with small bowel - excluding the possibility of a gallstone ileus. Analysis of the stone revealed a composition of bile pigments and calcium *** was a rare case of small bowel obstruction due to enterolith formation - made distinctive by calcification (previously unreported in the proximal small bowel).

In the current era of the internet,people use online media for conversation,discussion,chatting,and other similar *** of such material where more than one person is involved has a spate challenge as compared to other text analysis *** are several approaches to identify users’emotions fromthe conversational text for the English language,however regional or low resource languages have been *** Urdu language is one of them and despite being used by millions of users across the globe,with the best of our knowledge there exists no work on dialogue analysis in the Urdu ***,in this paper,we have proposed a model which utilizes deep learning and machine learning approaches for the classification of users’emotions from the *** accomplish this task,we have first created a dataset for the Urdu language with the help of existing English language datasets for dialogue *** that,we have preprocessed the data and selected dialogues with common *** the dataset is prepared,we have used different deep learning and machine learning techniques for the classification of *** have tuned the algorithms according to the Urdu language *** experimental evaluation has shown encouraging results with 67%accuracy for the Urdu dialogue datasets,more than 10,000 dialogues are classified into five emotions i.e.,joy,fear,anger,sadness,and *** believe that this is the first effort for emotion detection from the conversational text in the Urdu language domain.
