Proje.tions of climate.and land-use.change.sugge.t that the.e.controlling factors will change. alte.ing fire.re.ime. in the.ne.r future. In the.southe.n Ce.tral Monte. Me.doza, Arge.tina, the.factors that modulate.the.fire.te.poral and spatial variability are.poorly unde.stood. We.re.onstructe. the.fire.history of southe.st of Me.doza from 1984 to 2023 and inve.tigate. the.re.ationships be.we.n fire.e.te.t and climate.variability at se.sonal and inte.annual scale.. Burne. are.s we.e.de.e.mine. using Google.e.rth e.gine.by proce.sing Landsat 5-TM, Landsat 7-e.M+, and Landsat 8-OLI-TIRS se.sor *** The.re.ion e.hibite. high spatial and te.poral variability in fire.occurre.ce. be.ng a mosaic of are.s with diffe.e.t fire.historie. and re.ove.y time.. Howe.e., the.soil organic carbon（SOC） stocks of native.fore.ts have.not be.n incorporate. into the.Fore.t Re.e.e.ce.e.ission Le.e.s calculations and for conse.vation planning unde. cli-mate.variability due.to a lack of information.
