Federated learning’s Role in Next-Gen TV Ad Optimization

In the rapidly evolving landscape of television advertising,optimizing ad schedules to maximize viewer engagement and revenue has become *** methods often operate in silos,limiting the potential insights gained from broader data analysis due to concerns over privacy and data *** article introduces a novel approach that leverages Federated learning(FL)to enhance TV ad schedule optimization,combining the strengths of local optimization techniques with the power of global Machine learning(ML)models to uncover actionable insights without compromising data *** combines linear programming for initial ads scheduling optimization with ML—specifically,a K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN)model—for predicting ad spot *** into account the diversity and the difficulty of the ad-scheduling problem,we propose a prescriptivepredictive approach in which first the position of the ads is optimized(using Google’s OR-Tools CP-SAT)and then the scheduled position of all ads will be the result of the optimization ***,this output becomes the target of a predictive task that predicts the position of new entries based on their characteristics ensuring the implementation of the scheduling at large scale(using KNN,Light Gradient Boosting Machine and random Forest).Furthermore,we explore the integration of FL to enhance predictive accuracy and strategic insight across different broadcasting networks while preserving data *** FL approach resulted in 8750 ads being precisely matched to their optimal category placements,showcasing an alignment with the intended diversity ***,there was a minimal deviation observed,with 1133 ads positioned within a one-category variance from their ideal placement in the original dataset.

Pan-TRK positive uterine sarcoma in immunohistochemistry without neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase gene fusions:A case report

BACKGROUND The classification of uterine sarcomas is based on distinctive morphological and immunophenotypic characteristics,increasingly supported by molecular genetic *** on neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase(NTRK)gene fusionpositive uterine sarcoma,potentially aggressive and morphologically similar to fibrosarcoma,are limited due to its recent ***-TRK immunohistochemistry(IHC)analysis serves as an effective screening tool with high sensitivity and specificity for NTRK-fusion *** SUMMARY We report a case of a malignant mesenchymal tumor originating from the uterine cervix,which was pan-TRK IHC-positive but lacked NTRK gene fusions,accompanied by a brief literature review.A 55-year-old woman presented to the emergency department with abdominal pain and distension,exhibiting significant ascites and multiple solid pelvic *** examination revealed a tumor encompassing the uterine cervix,extending to the vagina and uterine corpus.A punch biopsy of the cervix indicated NTRK sarcoma with positive immunochemical pan-TRK ***,subsequent next generation sequencing revealed no NTRK gene fusion,leading to a diagnosis of poorly differentiated,advanced-stage *** The clinical significance of NTRK gene fusion lies in potential treatment with TRK inhibitors for positive *** such rare tumors is crucial due to the potential applicability of tropomyosin receptor kinase inhibitor treatment.

Experimental analysis of ballistic trauma in a human body protected with 30 layer packages made of biaxial and triaxial Kevlar^(■)29 fabrics

Behind armour blunt trauma(BABT)is a body injury resulting from the deformation of the back surface of armour as a result of a bullet *** the case of textile body armour,the severity of the injury may depend on the material of the fibres,but also on the geometric structure of the *** article focuses on experimental research into injuries of the human body protected by ballistic packets made of biaxial and triaxial fabrics,during a non-penetrating impact from a Parabellum 9 mm×19 mm Full Metal Jacket(FMJ)bullet,at a speed of 406±5 m/*** experimental research,the fabrics had a comparable surface weight and were made of the same Kevlar^(■)29 *** ballistic packages were made of 30 *** part of the work,a physical model of the human body was *** human body model consisted of a model of the heart,lungs,and skeletal and muscular *** the bullet impact,the pressure forces were recorded using sensors located at selected points of the human *** bullets hit five selected places on the body that were considered critical,from the point of view of maintaining a human’s vital *** was found that,during firing,pressure increases both at the site of impact and in the internal organs,which can lead to multi-organ *** a result of the experimental analysis,it has been shown that the pressures exerted on specific organs are always lower in the case of body protection with a ballistic packet made of triaxial fabrics,compared to a packet made of biaxial fabrics.

Aggregations of juveniles are dominant forms of social life in some insect *** societies are shaped by competitive and cooperative interactions of the larvae,in parallel with parental *** of necrophagous larvae are excellent systems to study these *** littoralis(Staphylinidae:Silphinae),a carrion beetle that colonizes cadavers of large vertebrates,forms massive juvenile *** spreading over carrion anal and oral exudates,the beetles form the feeding matrix,in which the heat is produced and by which adults presumably affect the fitness of the *** predict that exploitative competition shapes the behavior of *** larvae in their ***,cooperative interactions may also operate in these systems due mainly to the benefits of collective ***,indirect parental effects(i.e.,formation of the feeding matrix)probably modulate larval interactions within the *** manipulating parental effects(present/absent)and larval density(0.02−1.9 larvae/g of meat),we found a strong negative group-size effect on fitness components of ***,in colonies with parental effects over almost the entire density range,and in colonies without parental effects for densities larger than 0.5 larva/*** was accompanied by positive group-size effects in terms of development time(it shortened with larval density)and thermogenesis(it increased with larval density).A pronounced positive group-size effect on juvenile fitness was found only in colonies without parental effects and only in the low-density *** results support the hypothesis that larval societies of *** are shaped by exploitation competition.
