The centrosome is the microtubule-organizing center and a crucial part of cell division. Centrosomal RNAs(cnRNAs) have been reported to enable precise spatiotemporal control of gene expression during cell division in many species. Whether and how cnRNAs exist in C. elegans are unclear. Here, using the nuclear RNAi Argonaute protein NRDe-3 as a reporter, we observed potential peri-centrosome localized small interfering(si)RNAs in C. elegans. NRDe-3 was previously shown to associate with pre-mRNAs and pre-rRNAs via a process involving the presence of complementary siRNAs. We generated a gFP-NRDe-3 knock-in transgene through CRISPR/Cas9 technology and observed that NRDe-3 formed peri-centrosomal foci neighboring the tubulin protein TBB-2, other centriole proteins and pericentriolar material(PCM)components in C. elegans embryos. The peri-centrosomal accumulation of NRDe-3 depends on RNA-dependent RNA polymerase(RdRP)-synthesized 22g siRNAs and the PAZ domain of NRDe-3, which is essential for siRNA binding. Mutation of eri-1, ergo-1, or drh-3 significantly increased the percentage of pericentrosome-enriched NRDe-3. At the metaphase of the cell cycle, NRDe-3 was enriched in both the peri-centrosomal region and the spindle. Moreover, the integrity of centriole proteins and pericentriolar material(PCM) components is also required for the peri-centrosomal accumulation of NRDe-3. Therefore, we concluded that siRNAs could accumulate in the pericentrosomal region in C. elegans and suggested that the peri-centrosomal region may also be a platform for RNAi-mediated gene regulation.

Illuminating Recommendation by Understanding the explicit Item Relations

Recent years have witnessed the prevalence of recommender systems in various fields, which provide a personalized recommendation list for each user based on various kinds of information. For quite a long time, most researchers have been pursing recommendation performances with predefined metrics, e.g., accuracy. However, in real-world applications, users select items from a huge item list by considering their internal personalized demand and external constraints. Thus, we argue that explicitly modeling the complex relations among items under domain-specific applications is an indispensable part for enhancing the recommendations. Actually, in this area, researchers have done some work to understand the item relations gradually from ＂implicit＂ to ＂explicit＂ views when recommending. To this end, in this paper, we conduct a survey of these recent advances on recommender systems from the perspective of the explicit item relation understanding. We organize these relevant studies from three types of item relations, i.e., combination-effect relations, sequence-dependence relations, and external-constraint relations. Specifically, the combination-effect relation and the sequence-dependence relation based work models the intra-group intrinsic relations of items from the user demand perspective, and the external-constraint relation emphasizes the external requirements for items. After that, we also propose our opinions on the open issues along the line of understanding item relations and suggest some future research directions in recommendation area.

We compare the optimal operating cost of the two bicriterion policies, and , for an M/g/1 queueing system with second optional service, in which the length of the vacation period is randomly controlled either by the number of arrivals during the idle period or by a timer. After all the customers are served in the queue exhaustively, the server immediately takes a vacation and may operate policy or policy. For the two bicriterion policies, the total average cost function per unit time is developed to search the optimal stationary operating policies at a minimum cost. Based upon the optimal cost the explicit forms for joint optimum threshold values of (p,T) and (p,N) are obtained.

为实现高效去除高盐湖体营养盐,以岱海湖为研究对象,本文基于混合植物生态沟渠技术,探究了植物+微生物联合生态沟渠在不同盐度梯度下对营养盐的去除效率、植物生长情况和微生物群落变化.研究发现,盐度胁迫下利用聚氨酯海绵将解淀粉芽孢杆菌固定在沟渠,能有效的强化系统中植物的耐盐性能,主要体现在促进植物生长、提高植物的抗氧化应激功能酶活性,加强植物对营养盐的同化吸收等.虽然向沟渠中投加解淀粉芽孢杆菌并未使其成为系统中的绝对优势菌属,但其能够改善系统中微生物群落结构,提高系统中脱氮除磷相关功能微生物的丰度进而提高沟渠的水质净化能力.结果表明,植物+微生物组沟渠在不同盐度下对水质的净化效果均显著高于单一植物/微生物生态沟渠,且在15g/L盐度下对营养盐去除效率最高,总氮(TN)、氨氮(NH_(4)^(+)-N)、总磷(TP)和化学需氧量(COD_(Cr))平均去除率均达到70%以上.相较于植物沟渠,植物+微生物沟渠的3种抗氧化应激酶:超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、过氧化氢酶(CAT)、过氧化物酶(POD)在15g/L盐度条件下分别提高了33.70%、43.64%、38.68%.

In weak field limits, we compute the deflection angle of a gravitational decoupling extended black hole(BH) solution. We obtained the gaussian optical curvature by examining the null geodesic equations with the help of gauss–Bonnet theorem(gBT). We also looked into the deflection angle of light by a black hole in weak field limits with the use of the gibbons–Werner method. We verify the graphical behavior of the black hole after determining the deflection angle of light. Additionally, in the presence of the plasma medium, we also determine the deflection angle of the light and examine its graphical behavior. Furthermore, we compute the einstein ring via gravitational decoupling extended black hole solution. We also compute the quasi-periodic oscillations and discuss their graphical behavior.

Porous hybrid microspheres were fabricated by the synthesized calcium gluconate-g-poly（D,L-lactide）（Cg-g- PDLLA） composites. These hybrid microspheres were treated with an alkaline solution for different period of time to control the amount of generated carboxylate groups and remained Cg on the surface. The microspheres were then incubated in a supersaturated simulated body fluid （1.5 SBF） solution for different time to investigate their biomimetic mineralization behavior. The depositions were found to have a fine cluster morphology, a similar crystal structure and chemical structure to natural hydroxyapatite, and a medium Ca/P of approximately 1.30. The effect of surface treating time on the structure and mineralization behavior of these microspheres has been discussed in detail. The results indicate that the nucleation and growth of apatite on the surface are influenced by the induced carboxylate groups and the remained Cg. The hybrid Cg-g- PDLLA microspheres have the potential as a novel alternative in bone tissue engineering.
