Tele.entres in Mountain Regions-A Peruvian Case Study of the Impact of Information and Communication Technologies on Remoteness and Exclusion

Communities in developing country mountain areas,in part due to their remoteness,find themselves excluded from social,political and economic systems; and excluded from access to resources. This paper aims to study the impact of information and communication technologies (ICTs) on remoteness and exclusion. It utilises two models - the resource movement framework,and the "information chain" - to analyse a tele.entre in one district of mountainous Huancavelica,Peru's poorest region,set in the high Andes. It finds ICTs enabling new and positive resource flows for the two key user groups:teenaged school students and young farmers. These help to maintain social networks. They also support information searches that have improved agricultural practice where other information chain resources have been available. But non-use and ineffective use of the tele.entre are found where information chain resources are lacking. ICTs have some impacts on intangible.ele.ents of remoteness. In this particular example.they also offer access to some previously-excluded resources. But they have not really addressed the systematic exclusions faced by mountain communities. And they so far appear to be a technology of inequality; favouring those residents who begin with better resource *** paper concludes by offering some recommendations for mountain ICT project practice.

In this work,the entropy functions of ideal quantum gases in a three-dimensional harmonic trap are analytically calculated using temperature as an explicit ***,the applicability of the analytical formulas is validated by comparison with the numerical *** results illustrate that the obtained functions could be applied for the whole.temperature regime with a maximum relative deviation of le.s than 7.5%in the vicinity of the critical temperature Tcin the case of Bose ***,for Fermi gases,although the analytical formula fits well at very low-and high-temperature regimes,it cannot be applied at temperature in the range[0.3-0.5]T_F,where T_F is the Fermi *** addition,the consistency between our formulas and classical ones at significantly high temperatures is also discussed.

We prove Liouville.type theorems for stable.and finite Morse index H_(loc)^(1)∩L_(loc)^(∞)solutions of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation -Δu+λ|x|^(a)u=|x|b|^(u)|^(p-1)u in R^(n),where n≥2,λ>0,a,b>-2 and p>1,Our analysis reveals that all stable.solutions of the equation must be zero for all p>1,Furthermore,finite Morse index solutions must be zero if n≥3 an p≥(n+2+2b)/(n-2).The main tools we use are integral estimates,a Pohozaev type identity and a monotonicity formula.

基于第一性原理计算,系统研究了超碱nLi_(4)团簇修饰在DHQ石墨烯表面上的几何结构及吸附能等性质,并深入探索了其储氢性能.研究结果表明:超碱nLi_(4)团簇可以稳定均匀地吸附在DHQ石墨烯表面,Li原子与n原子的强结合能有效避免了Li原子发生团聚.每个nLi_(4)团簇周围最多可吸附11个氢气分子,平均吸附能为0.20 eV,最大储氢容量为12.05 wt%,达到美国能源部制定的2025年储氢目标5.5 wt%.最后,基于相对能量计算,发现当压强大于84 bar时,该储氢体系可以在室温下稳定存在.以上结果表明经超碱nLi_(4)团簇修饰的DHQ石墨烯是一种有潜力的储氢材料.

Fusarium head blight(FHB)is one of the most prevale.t wheat diseases,causing substantial yield losses and health *** phenotyping of FHB is crucial for accele.ating resistance breeding,but currently used methods are time-consuming and *** present article.suggests a noninvasive classification model for FHB severity estimation using red–green–blue(RGB)images,without requiring extensive *** model accepts images taken from consumer-grade,low-cost RGB cameras and classifies the FHB severity into 6 ordinal *** addition,we introduce a novel dataset consisting of around 3,000 images from 3 different years(2020,2021,and 2022)and 2 FHB severity assessments per image from independent *** used a pretrained Efficientnet(size b0),redesigned as a regression *** results demonstrate that the interrater reliability(Cohen’s kappa,κ)is substantially lower than the achieved individual network-to-rater results,e.g.,0.68 and 0.76 for the data captured in 2020,*** model shows a generalization effect when trained with data from multiple.years and tested on data from an independent ***,using the images from 2020 and 2021 for training and 2022 for testing,we improved the F_(1)^(w) score by 0.14,the accuracy by 0.11,κ by 0.12,and reduced the root mean squared error by 0.5 compared to the best network trained only on a single.year’s *** proposed lightweight model and methods could be deployed on mobile.devices to automatically and objectively assess FHB severity with images from low-cost RGB *** source code and the dataset are available.at https://***/cvims/FHB_classification.

In order to solve the proble. that existing multivariate grey incidence models cannot be applied to time series on different scale., a new model is proposed based on spatial pyramid ***, local features of multivariate time series on different scale. are poole. and aggregated by spatial pyramid pooling to construct n le.els feature pooling matrices on the same scale. Secondly,Deng's multivariate grey incidence model is introduced to measure the degree of incidence between feature pooling matrices at each le.el. Thirdly, grey incidence degrees at each le.el are integrated into a global incidence degree. Finally, the performance of the proposed model is verified on two data sets compared with a variety of algorithms. The results illustrate that the proposed model is more effective and efficient than other similarity measure algorithms.
