Ki-67 Change in Anthracyline-containing Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Response in Breast Cancer

Objective Anthracycline-containing regimens are irreplaceable in neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NAC)for breast cancer(BC)at ***,30% of early breast cancer(EBC)patients are resistant to anthracycline-containing chemotherapy,leading to poor prognosis and higher ***-67 is associated with the prognosis and response to therapy,and it changes after *** A total of 105 BC patients who received anthracycline-containing NAC were ***,the optimal model of Ki-67 was selected,and its predictive efficacy was ***(IHC)was used to determine the estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR),and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER-2)status and Ki-67 *** in situ hybridization(FISH)was used to verify the HER-2 when the IHC score was 2+.Results The post-NAC Ki67 level after treatment with anthracycline drugs was lower than pre-NAC Ki-67(19.6%±23.3%vs.45.6%±23.1%,Plete response(pCR)rate(17.2%vs.0.0%,P=0.068),and a higher overall response rate(ORR)(73.6%vs.27.8%,Ple markers for the prediction of both the pCR rate and *** area under the curve(AUC)for ΔKi-67 on pCR and ORR was 0.809(0.698-0.921)and 0.755(0.655-0.855),respectively,while the AUC for ΔKi-67% on pCR and ORR was 0.857(0.742-0.972)and 0.720(0.618-0.822),*** logistic regression model 1 revealed thatΔKi-67 was an independent predictor for both pCR[odds ratio(OR)=61.030,95% confidence interval(CI)=4.709-790.965;P=0.002]and ORR(OR=10.001,95%CI:3.044-32.858;Pled thatΔKi-67%was also an independent predictor for both pCR(OR=408.922,95%CI=8.908-18771.224;P=0.002)and ORR(OR=5.419,95%CI=1.842-15.943;P=0.002).Conclusions The present study results suggest thatΔKi67 andΔKi67%are candidate predictor

Path signature-based XAI-enabled network time series classification

Classifying network time series(NTS) is crucial for automating network administration and ensuring cyberspace security. It enables the detection of anomalies, the identification of network attacks,and the monitoring of performance issues, thereby providing valuable support for network protection and optimization. However, modern communication networks pose challenges for NTS classification *** include handling large-scale and complex NTS data, extracting features from intricate datasets, and addressing explainability requirements. These challenges are particularly pronounced for complex 5G networks. Notably, explainability has become crucial for the widespread deployment of network automation for 5G networks and beyond. To tackle these challenges, we propose a path-signature-based NTS classification model called recurrent signature(Recur Sig). This innovative model is designed to overcome the time-consuming feature selection problem by utilizing deep-learning(DL) techniques. Additionally, it provides a solution for addressing the black-box issue associated with DL models in network automation systems(NAS) by incorporating an explainable classification approach. Extensive experimentation on various public datasets demonstrates that Recur Sig outperforms existing models in accuracy and explainability. The results indicate its potential for application in cyberspace security and automated network management, offering an explainable solution for network protection and optimization.

Surfactant-assisted crystallization of lysozyme and its mechanism

Surfactants were used to assist in the crystallization of *** types of surfactants with different structures(sodium dodecyl sulfate,cetyltrimethylammonium bromide,or betaine hydrochloride[BH])were *** study indicated that three surfactants were all capable of shortening the crystallization induction time of lysozyme,with BH inducing the shortest crystallization induction time(t=1 min)and the largest crystal size(37μm).The molecular interactions among each of the three surfactants aforementioned and lysozyme were also investigated by *** was found that hydrogen bonding dominantly acted between the carboxyl structure of the surfactant BH and the lysozyme,which produced the most favorable conformation for the self-assembly of lysozyme(promote lysozyme orderly aggregation and shorten the crystallization induction time).On this basis,the mechanism of surfactant-promoted lysozyme crystallization was proposed.

Experimental Study on Vortex-Induced Vibration of Rough Risers Coupling with Interference Effect in Tandem Arrangement

In order to study the response law of vortex-induced vibration(VIV)of marine risers under the combined action of roughness and interference effects,and to reveal the coupling mechanism of roughness and interference effects on the riser,a VIV experiment of rough risers in tandem arrangement was conducted in a wave−current combined *** experiment characterized the risers’roughness by arranging different specifications of attachments on the surface of the *** rough risers with different roughness and smooth risers were arranged in tandem arrangement,with the rough risers arranged *** experimental results indicate that the suppression of the attachments on the downstream risers’vibration are more significant both in the CF and IL directions as the reduced velocity *** the downstream riser,the amplitude response of rough riser is more significantly weakened compared with the smooth one at high reduced *** the upstream risers,changes in the roughness and spacing ratio have an impact on their‘lock-in’*** the roughness of downstream risers is relatively large(0.1300)and the spacing between risers is small(S/D=4.0),the reduced velocity range of‘lock-in’region in the CF direction of upstream risers is obviously expanded,and the displacement in the‘lock-in’region is severer.

Epidemiological characteristics of tuberculosis incidence and its macro-influence factors in Chinese mainland during 2014–2021

Background Tuberculosis (TB) remains a pressing public health issue, posing a significant threat to individuals'' well-being and lives. This study delves into the TB incidence in Chinese mainland during 2014–2021, aiming to gain deeper insights into their epidemiological characteristics and explore macro-level factors to enhance control and *** TB incidence data in Chinese mainland from 2014 to 2021 were sourced from the National Notifiable Disease Reporting System (NNDRS). A two-stage distributed lag nonlinear model (DLNM) was constructed to evaluate the lag and non-linearity of daily average temperature (℃, Atemp), average relative humidity (%, ARH), average wind speed (m/s, AWS), sunshine duration (h, SD) and precipitation (mm, PRE) on the TB incidence. A spatial panel data model was used to assess the impact of demographic, medical and health resource, and economic factors on TB *** A total of 6,587,439 TB cases were reported in Chinese mainland during 2014–2021, with an average annual incidence rate of 59.17/100,000. The TB incidence decreased from 67.05/100,000 in 2014 to 46.40/100,000 in 2021, notably declining from 2018 to 2021 (APC =-8.87%, 95%CI: -11.97, -6.85%). TB incidence rates were higher among males, farmers, and individuals aged 65 years and older. Spatiotemporal analysis revealed a significant cluster in Xinjiang, Qinghai, and Xizang from March 2017 to June 2019 (RR= 3.94,P 71.73%), low sunshine duration (le extreme low wind speed (< 2.79 m/s) decreased the risk. Dynamic mechanical characteristics of deep Jinping marble in complex stress environments

Microstructure homogeneity and mechanical properties of laser-arc hybrid welded AZ31B magnesium alloy

Laser-arc hybrid welding of AZ31B magnesium alloy was carried out, the effects of welding parameters on weld formation, microstructure homogeneity and mechanical properties were investigated. The results showed that laser-arc hybrid welding was beneficial to improve the weld formation of magnesium alloy by inhibiting the defect of undercut and pores. The weld microstructure was mainly columnar grains neighboring the fusion line and equiaxed grains at the weld center. It was interesting that the grain size at the upper arc zone was smaller than that at the lower laser zone, with the difference mainly affected by laser power rather than welding current and welding speed. The welding parameters were optimized as laser power of 3.5 kW, welding current of 100 A and welding speed of 1.5 m/min. In this case,the weld was free of undercut and pores, and the tensile strength and elongation rate reached 252 MPa and 11.2%, respectively. Finally,the microstructure homogeneity was illustrated according to the heat distribution, and the evolution law of tensile properties was discussed basing on the weld formation and microstructure characteristics.
