Reduced-order modeling and vibration transfer analysis of a fluid-delivering branch pipeline that consider fluid–solid interactions

The efficient dynamic modeling and vibration transfer analysis of a fluid-delivering branch pipeline(FDBP)are essential for analyzing vibration coupling effects and implementing vibration reduction ***,this study proposes a reduced-order dynamic modeling method suitable for FDBPs and then analyzes the vibration transfer *** the modeling method,the finite element method and absorbing transfer matrix method(ATMM)are integrated,considering the fluid–structure coupling effect and fluid *** dual-domain dynamic substructure method is developed to perform the reduced-order modeling of FDBP,and ATMM is adopted to reduce the matrix order when solving fluid ***,the modeling method is validated by experiments on an H-shaped branch ***,transient and steady-state vibration transfer analyses of FDBP are performed,and the effects of branch locations on natural characteristics and vibration transfer behavior are *** show that transient vibration transfer represents the transfer and conversion of the kinematic,strain,and damping energies,while steady-state vibration transfer characteristics are related to the vibration *** addition,multiple-order mode exchanges are triggered when branch locations vary in frequency-shift regions,and the mode-exchange regions are also the transformation ones for vibration transfer patterns.

Due to the novel applications of flexible pipes conveying fluid in the field of soft robotics and biomedicine,the investigations on the mechanical responses of the pipes have attracted considerable *** fluid-structure interaction(FSI)between the pipe with a curved shape and the time-varying internal fluid flow brings a great challenge to the revelation of the dynamical behaviors of flexible pipes,especially when the pipe is highly flexible and usually undergoes large *** this work,the geometrically exact model(GEM)for a curved cantilevered pipe conveying pulsating fluid is developed based on the extended Hamilton's *** stability of the curved pipe with three different subtended angles is examined with the consideration of steady fluid *** attention is concentrated on the large-deformation resonance of circular pipes conveying pulsating fluid,which is often encountered in practical *** constructing bifurcation diagrams,oscillating shapes,phase portraits,time traces,and Poincarémaps,the dynamic responses of the curved pipe under various system parameters are *** mean flow velocity of the pulsating fluid is chosen to be either subcritical or *** numerical results show that the curved pipe conveying pulsating fluid can exhibit rich dynamical behaviors,including periodic and quasi-periodic *** is also found that the preferred instability type of a cantilevered curved pipe conveying steady fluid is mainly in the flutter of the second *** a moderate value of the mass ratio,however,a third-mode flutter may occur,which is quite different from that of a straight pipe system.

Integral precession calibration method of PIGA on linear vibration table

Linear vibration table can provide harmonic accelerations to excite the nonlinear error terms of Pendulous Integrating Gyro Accelerometer(PIGA).Integral precession calibration method is proposed to calibrate PIGA on a linear vibration table in this *** on the precise expressions of PIGA’s inputs,the error calibration model of PIGA is *** angular velocity errors of PIGA are suppressed by integer periodic precession and the errors caused by non-integer periods vibrating are *** complete calibration process,including planning,preparation,PIGA testing,and coefficient identification,is designed to optimize the test operations and evaluate the calibration *** effect of the main errors on calibration uncertainty is analyzed and the relative sensitivity function is proposed to further optimize the test *** and simulation results verify that the proposed 10-position calibration method can improve calibration uncertainties after compensating for the related *** order of calibration uncertainties of the second-and third-order coefficients are decreased to 10^(-8)(rad.s^(-1))/g^(2)and 10^(-8)(rad.s^(-1))/g3,*** with the other two classical calibration methods,the calibration uncertainties of PIGA’s nonlinear error coefficients can be effectively reduced and the proportional residual errors are decreased less than 3×10-6(rad.s^(-1))/g by using the proposed calibration method.

Few studies have investigated the spatial patterns of the air temperature urban heat island(AUHI)and its controlling *** this study,the data generated by an urban climate model were used to investigate the spatial variations of the AUHI across China and the underlying climate and ecological drivers.A total of 355 urban clusters were *** performed an attribution analysis of the AUHI to elucidate the mechanisms underlying its *** results show that the midday AUHI is negatively correlated with climate wetness(humid:0.34 K;semi-humid:0.50 K;semi-arid:0.73 K).The annual mean midnight AUHI does not show discernible spatial patterns,but is generally stronger than the midday *** urban–rural difference in convection efficiency is the largest contributor to the midday AUHI in the humid(0.32±0.09 K)and the semi-arid(0.36±0.11 K)climate *** release of anthropogenic heat from urban land is the dominant contributor to the midnight AUHI in all three climate *** rural vegetation density is the most important driver of the daytime and nighttime AUHI spatial variations.A spatial covariance analysis revealed that this vegetation influence is manifested mainly through its regulation of heat storage in rural land.

Antibiotics are a widely used and effective treatment for bacterial ***,bacteria can gradually evolve during infection,leading to developing resistance to antibiotics,which renders previously effective treatments *** a useful and convenient manner to treat bacterial infections is a great ***,we report a flexible hydrogen-bond-bridged phosphorene film with photodynamic antibacterial properties and excellent mechanical properties,fabricated from electrochemical exfoliation of black phosphorus(BP).When illuminated under 700 nm light,the hydrogen bond-bridged phosphorene flexible film is capable of converting ground-state triplet oxygen(O_(2))into excited-state singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2)),destroying the structure of the membrane of Staphylococcus aureus,and eventually leading to bacterial death,via breaking the C=C of unsaturated fatty acids within the bacterial cell membrane after the reaction between^(1)O_(2)and unsaturated fatty acids,thus realizing a highly efficient antibacterial approach,which is supported by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)*** work establishes an effective phototherapy platform for treating bacterial traumatic infections.

Research on automation and intelligent operation of tunnel boring machine(TBM)is receiving more and more attention,benefiting from the increasing construction ***,most studies on TBM operations optimization were trained by the labels of human drivers’decisions,which were subjective and *** a result,the control parameters suggested by these models could hardly surpass the performance of a human driver,even the possibility of subjective incorrect *** that the geomechanical feedback to TBM under drivers’actions is objective,in this paper,a transformer-based model called the geological response for tunnel boring machine(GRTBM),is proposed to learn the relationship between operation-adjust and TBM monitoring ***,with the model-based offline reinforcement learning,this paper provided a novel approach to optimizing the TBM excavation *** decision processes,recorded in the Yin-song TBM project for a waterway tunnel in Jilin Province of China,were used for the validation of the *** adopting an implicit perception of geological conditions in the GRTBM model,the suggested method achieved the desired state within a single action,greatly outperformed the practical adjustments where 500 s were taken,revealing the fact that the proposed model has the potential to surpass the capability of human beings.

In future optical transport networks,lightpath performance analysis is of great practical significance for fully automated *** general,the quality of transmission(QoT)of lightpaths,measured by optical quality factor or optical signal-to-noise ratio,has a complex time-varying process,along with the interactions of the other lightpath state parameters(LSPs),such as transmit power,chromatic dispersion,polarization mode *** studies are mostly focused on lightpath QoT estimation,but ignoring lightpath-level data *** this case,our article proposes a novel lightpath performance analysis method considering recurrence plot(RP)and cross recurrence plot(CRP).Firstly,we give a detailed interpretation on the recurrence patterns of LSPs via a qualitative 2-D RP representation and its quantitative *** can potentially enable the accurate and fast lightpath failure detection with a low computational *** the other hand,CRP is devoted to modeling the relationships between lightpath QoT and LSPs,and the correlation degree is determined by a geometric mean of multiple indexes of cross recurrence quantification *** the view of application,such CRP analysis can provide the effective knowledge sharing to guarantee more credible QoT *** experiments on a real-world optical network dataset have clearly demonstrated the effectiveness of our proposal.

Impacts of agri-food e-commerce on traditional wholesale industry:Evidence from China

Rapidly expanding studies investigate the effects of e-commerce on company operations in the retail ***,the interaction between agri-food e-commerce(AEC)and the traditional agri-food wholesale industry(AWI)has not received enough attention in the existing *** on the provincial panel data from 2013 to 2020 in China,this paper examines the effect of AEC on AWI,comprising three dimensions:digitalization(DIGITAL),agrifood e-commerce infrastructure and supporting services(AECI),and agri-food e-commerce economy(AECE).First,AWI and AEC are measured using an entropy-based combination of *** results indicate that for China as a whole,AWI has remained practically unchanged,whereas AEC exhibits a significant rising ***,the findings of the fixed-effect regression reveal that DIGITAL and AECE tend to raise AWI,whereas AECI negatively affects ***,threshold regression results indicate that AECI tends to diminish AWI with three-stage inhibitory intensity,which manifests as a first increase and then a drop in the inhibition *** results suggest that with the introduction of e-commerce for agricultural product circulation,digital development will have catfish effects that tend to stimulate the vitality of the conventional wholesale industry and promote technical ***,the traditional wholesale industry benefits financially from e-commerce even while it diverts part of the traditional wholesale circulation for agricultural products.

PVP/PAN-derived porous carbon fiber for zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors

Porous carbon fibers are promising cathodes for zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors(ZHSs)owing to their abundant active sites,great conductivity,and stable physical and chemical ***,designing a proper preparation technique to regulate the microstructure of carbon fibers still remains a great ***,a poly vinylpyrrolidone/po-lyacry lonitrile(PVP/PAN)-derived porous carbon fiber is developed via the PVP/PAN blend electrospinning and hydrothermal selective PVP removal *** hydrothermal selective PVP removal strategy can effectively avoid a cross-linking between PVP and PAN during the traditional stabilization at air *** PVP/PAN-derived porous carbon fiber,the sufficient micropores provide abundant space for the Zn^(2+)storage,whereas the proper mesopores contribute to the fast ion *** hierarchical porous structures endow ZHSs with high specific capacity and high-rate *** ZHS assembled with the optimal PVP/PAN-derived porous carbon fiber(PVP-PANC-0.8)displays an outstanding specific capacity of 208 mAh·g^(-1),high rate capability(49.5%)from 0.5 to 5 A·g^(-1),and 72.25%capacity retention after 10,000 cycles at 0.5 A·g^(-1).
