It is essential to explore high efficient catalysts for nitrogen reduction in ammonia *** on the first-principles calculation,we find that B/g-C_(2)N can serve as high performance photocatalyst in N_(2)fixation,where single boron atom is anchored on the g-C_(2)N to form B/g-C_(2)*** the introduction of B atom to g-C_(2)N,the energy gap reduces from 2.45 eV to 1.21 eV and shows strong absorption in the visible light *** addition,N_(2)can be efficiently reduced on B/g-C_(2)N through the enzymatic mechanism with low onset potential of 0.07 V and rate-determining barrier of 0.50 ***"acceptance-donation"interaction between B/g-C_(2)N and N_(2)plays a key role to active N_(2),and the BN_(2)moiety of B/g-C_(2)N acts as active and transportation *** activity originates from the strong interaction between 1π1π*orbitals of N_(2)and molecular orbitals of B/g-C_(2)N,the ionization of 1πorbital and the filling of 1π*orbital can increase the N≡N bond length greatly,making the activation of N_(2).Overall,this work demonstrates that B/g-C_(2)N is a promising photocatalyst for N_(2)fixation.

It is important for environmental protection to search for catalysts with excellent performance and cost-effective to reduce SO2 by CO. In this work, using first-principles calculation, we have studied the catalytic performance of Au5Mn（M = Ni, Pd, Pt, Cu, Ag, Au; n = 1, 0,-1） clusters, and showed that, by giving a negative charge to the Au5M（M = Cu,Ag, Au, Pd） clusters, we could improve the selectivity of SO2 and avoid effectively catalyst CO poisoning *** the same time, the catalytic reaction rate for the reduction of SO2 by CO with Au5M-（M = Cu, Ag, Au, Pd） clusters is greatly improved when the Au5M clusters are charged. These advantages can be well explained by the charge transfer between the clusters and adsorbed molecules, which means that we can effectively control the performance of the *** equilibrium structures of Au5Mn（M = Ni, Pd, Pt, Cu, Ag, Au; n = 1, 0,-1） clusters without or with adsorbed SO2 or CO molecule are also discussed, and the most stable geometrical structures of Aun5 M-ML（ML = SO2, CO, SO, and COS）can be explained very well by the match of orbitals symmetry and density of electron cloud through their frontier molecular orbitals. Considering the catalyst cost（Cu is much cheaper than Ag and Au）, selectivity of SO2, and effectively avoiding the catalyst CO poisoning, we propose that Au5Cu-is an ideal catalyst for getting rid of SO2 and CO simultaneously.

This study focused on producing metal matrix composite(MMC)coatings on Ti–6Al–4V alloy through laser surface alloying using a novel combination of Inconel 625 and SiC precursor *** ratios of alloying powders were examined to evaluate surface properties such as microhardness,wear resistance,and friction coefficient,along with analyzing the phase composition and microstructure of the *** in situ synthesized MMC coatings exhibited the presence ofα-Ti,NiTi,NiTi_(2),and TiC ***,Ti_(5)Si_(3)andα-Ti/Ti_(5)Si_(3)eutectic structures were observed when the SiC content exceeded 20%.In comparison to the titanium substrate,the MMC coating significantly enhanced microhardness by over threefold and reduced wear by 95%.However,it was crucial to carefully select the appropriate combination of alloying powders to avoid a substantial decrease in friction performance and excessive formation of *** a comparative analysis of experimental results,the optimal precursor material composition was identified as 85%Inconel 625 and 15%*** study demonstrated the effective utilization of Inconel 625 and SiC alloying materials to enhance the surface properties of titanium alloys,thereby expanding their application in challenging environments.

The six-degree-of-freedom movement of an offshore plate anchor is essential to evaluate anchor *** an emerging technology,magnetometer has shown its potential in measuring the six-degree-of-freedom movement of offshore anchors under 1-g model laboratory *** paper presents the feasibility of adopting a magnetometer system in geotechnical centrifuge *** factors that may affect the measuring accuracy of the magnetometer system are *** results demonstrate that the magnetometer system can accurately catch the anchor movement in the soils with the restrictions of:(1)the model anchor was made with stainless steel;(2)the system was placed at least 30 cm away from the side wall of soil model tank;(3)started the measurement when the artificial acceleration by centrifuge was stable.

Heat treatment of spray deposition 10% SiCp/6066 ( φ (SiCp)=10%) composites was investigated by means of hardness measurement. The results show that heat treatment technology is influenced by the presence of SiC particles. Compared with the base alloy 6066, the composites have lower burning temperature and is burnt at 540 ℃ due to the enrichment of Mg and Cu atoms in the SiCp/6066 interfaces. As a result, solution treatment of the composites should be carried out at lower temperature. The aging parameter values such as the aging temperature, the precipitation temperature of β′ and β phases, as well as the peak aging time, become lower. The optimum heat treatment process conditions are that the composites are solution treated at 515 ℃ and aged at 165 ℃ for 5 h.

Manganese （Mn） leaching and recovery from low-grade pyrolusite ore were studied using sulfiaric acid （H2SO4） as a leachant and pyrolysis-pretreated sawdust as a reductant. The effects of the dosage of pyrolysis-pretreated sawdust to pyrolusite ore, the concentration of sulfuric acid, the liquid/solid ratio, the leaching temperature, and the leaching time on manganese and iron leaching efficiencies were inves- tigated. Analysis of manganese and iron leaching efficiencies revealed that a high manganese leaching efficiency was achieved with low iron extraction. The optimal leaching efficiency was determined to be 20wt% pyrolysis-pretreated sawdust and 3.0 mol/L H2SO4 using a liq- uid/solid ratio of 6.0 mL/g for 90min at 90℃. Other low-grade pyrolusite ores were tested, and the results showed that they responded well with manganese leaching efficiencies greater than 98%.

Corrected stress field intensity obtained by averaging the superior limit of intrinsic damage dissipation work in critical domain, which considers thoroughly thermodynamic consistency within irreversible thermodynamic framework, was proposed for predictions of high-cycle fatigue endurance limits. Simultaneously, the effects of mean stress, additional hardening behavior related to non-proportional loading paths and stress gradients on multiaxial high-cycle fatigue are taken into account in the proposed approach. The approach is an extension of the general stress field intensity. For a better comparison, existing multiaxial high-cycle fatigue criteria were employed to predict the endurance limits of different metallic materials subjected to different multiaxial loading paths, and it is shown that present proposal performs better from statistical value of error indexes, which make the proposed approach of corrected stress field intensity and its associated concepts provide a new conception to predict endurance limits of multiaxial high-cycle fatigue with high accuracy.

Deciphering the role of ultra-low-loaded rhodium in NiFe-MIL-53 for superior oxygen evolution reaction

Designing highly active and stable electrocatalysts of oxygen evolution reaction （OER） is one of the crucial *** this study,a novel OER electrocatalyst,NiFe-MIL-53 modified with ultra-low rhodium（Rh@NiFe-MIL-53）,is successfully prepared via the hydrothermal ***-situ Raman spectroscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy reveal that the doped Rh accelerates the phase transformation of NiFe-MIL-53 and the in-situ formed Rh@NiFeOOH is the actual active *** importantly,the enhanced reversibility of electrochemical reconstruction between NiFeOOH and NiFe（OH）2after doping Rh is beneficial for improving the electrochemical stability of the catalyst.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy spectra show the strong electronic interaction between single-atom Rh and Ni/Fe in Rh@***,theoretical calculations confirm that the integration of single-atom Rh into the NiFeOOH successfully reduces the band gap,regulates the d-band center （εd）,accelerates the charge transfer,and optimizes the adsorption behavior of oxygen-containing intermediates,thereby lowering the energy barrier of rate-determining ***,the optimized Rh@NiFe-MIL-53 exhibits excellent OER activity （240 mV） with a small Tafel slope of 48.2 mV dec-1and long-term durability (over1270 h at 10 m A cm-2and 110 h at 200 mA cm-2).This work presents a new perspective on designing highly efficient OER electrocatalysts.
