Influencing factors and paths of direct carbon emissions from the energy consumption of rural residents in central China determined using a questionnaire survey

Rural residents have unique lifestyle characteristics,energy consumption methods,energy-saving behaviors,and *** the direct carbon emission from rural residents is based on the combined effect of multiple *** order to address the complexity of factors affecting the direct carbon emissions from rural household,this study used a structural equation model to examine the effect of multi-factor variables on direct carbon emissions from rural households in central *** were collected using questionnaires and surveys in six cities in central China to reflect the daily reality of rural *** results show that quality of life and awareness of energy conservation can affect the direct carbon emissions of rural *** characteristics and awareness of energy conservation affected carbon emissions indirectly by affecting the daily behaviors and quality of life of the residents;consumption characteristics,energy-saving behaviors,and energy conservation policies are not the main factors contributing to the direct carbon emissions of the *** on the results,future studies can focus on energy conservation education,improvement of the living habits,coal energy use efficiency,and energy consumption structure of residences.

Effect of lamellarization on the microstructure and mechanical properties of marine 10Ni5CrMoV steel

Multistage heat treatment involving quenching(Q),lamellarizing(L),and tempering(T)is applied to marine 10Ni5CrMoV *** microstructure and mechanical properties were studied by multiscale characterizations,and the kinetics of reverse austenite transformation,strain hardening behavior,and toughening mechanism were further *** lamellarized specimens possess low yield strength but high toughness,especially cryogenic *** leads to the development of film-like reversed austenite at the martensite block and lath boundaries,refining the martensite structure and lowering the equivalent grain *** analysis of austenite reversion based on the JMAK model shows that the isothermal transformation is dominated by the growth of reversed austenite,and the maximum transformation of reversed austenite is reached at the peak temperature(750℃).The strain hardening behavior based on the modified Crussard-Jaoul analysis indicates that the reversed austenite obtained from lamellarization reduces the proportion of martensite,significantly hindering crack propagation via martensitic transformation during the *** a consequence,the QLT specimens exhibit high machinability and low yield *** with the QT specimen,the ductile-brittle transition temperature of the QLT specimens decreases from-116 to-130℃due to the low equivalent grain size and reversed austenite,which increases the cleavage force required for crack propagation and absorbs the energy of external load,*** work provides an idea to improve the cryogenic toughness of marine 10Ni5CrMoV steel and lays a theoretical foundation for its industrial application and comprehensive performance improvement.

Numerical analysis of a ventilated supercavity under periodic motion of the cavitator

This paper presents a numerical simulation of the geometry and the pressure distribution of a ventilated supercavity at different cavitator amplitudes and periods of *** numerical method is validated by comparing with the results of a semi-empirical formula under specific *** is shown that the simulation can capture the boundary fluctuations of the ventilated supercavity and its internal pressure variations in a cavitator motion *** simulation results show that the supercavity boundary experiences wave-like deformations when the wavelength of the disturbance caused by the cavitator motion is comparable to the supercavity *** is also shown that the supercavity closure changes in form between a re-entrant jet and a twin vortex owing to the variations of the pressure difference between the outside and the inside of the supercavity near the closure *** maximum diameter of the ventilated supercavity exhibits periodic changes with a double peak in each cavitator motion cycle,caused by the corresponding changes of the difference between the internal and external *** the increase of the amplitude of motion of the cavitator,the supercavity boundary has enhanced wave-like undulations,with an increased maximum diameter,and with fluctuations in the cavitation *** the period of the cavitator motion increases,the wavelength of the disturbances caused by this motion becomes greater than the supercavity length,and so the wave-like undulations of the supercavity boundary and the maximum diameter of the supercavity gradually decrease,but the variations of the cavitation number ***,with the increase of the periods,the delay effects on the variations of the characteristics of the supercavity geometry caused by cavitator motion gradually decrease,and they practically vanish for large periods.

Multi-model ensemble learning for battery state-of-health estimation:Recent advances and perspectives

The burgeoning market for lithium-ion batteries has stimulated a growing need for more reliable battery performance monitoring. Accurate state-of-health(SOH) estimation is critical for ensuring battery operational performance. Despite numerous data-driven methods reported in existing research for battery SOH estimation, these methods often exhibit inconsistent performance across different application scenarios. To address this issue and overcome the performance limitations of individual data-driven models,integrating multiple models for SOH estimation has received considerable attention. Ensemble learning(EL) typically leverages the strengths of multiple base models to achieve more robust and accurate outputs. However, the lack of a clear review of current research hinders the further development of ensemble methods in SOH estimation. Therefore, this paper comprehensively reviews multi-model ensemble learning methods for battery SOH estimation. First, existing ensemble methods are systematically categorized into 6 classes based on their combination strategies. Different realizations and underlying connections are meticulously analyzed for each category of EL methods, highlighting distinctions, innovations, and typical applications. Subsequently, these ensemble methods are comprehensively compared in terms of base models, combination strategies, and publication trends. Evaluations across 6 dimensions underscore the outstanding performance of stacking-based ensemble methods. Following this, these ensemble methods are further inspected from the perspectives of weighted ensemble and diversity, aiming to inspire potential approaches for enhancing ensemble performance. Moreover, addressing challenges such as base model selection, measuring model robustness and uncertainty, and interpretability of ensemble models in practical applications is emphasized. Known-key distinguishers on type-1 Feistel scheme and near-collision attacks on its hashing modes

We present some known-key distinguishers for a type-1 Feistel scheme with a permutation as the round function. To be more specific, the 29-round known-key truncated differential distinguishers are given for the 256-bit type-1 Feistel scheme with an SP （substitution-permutation） round function by using the rebound attack, where the S-boxes have perfect differential and linear properties and the linear diffusion layer has a maximum branch number. For two 128-bit versions, the distinguishers can be applied on 25- round structures. Based on these distinguishers, we construct near-collision attacks on these schemes with MMO （Matyas- Meyer-Oseas） and MP （Miyaguchi-Preneel） hashing modes, and propose the 26-round and 22-round near-collision attacks for two 256-bit schemes and two 128-bit schemes, respectively. We apply the near-collision attack on MAME and obtain a 26-round near-collision attack. Using the algebraic degree and some integral properties, we prove the correctness of the 31-round known-key integral distinguisher proposed by Sasaki et al. We show that if the round function is a permutation, the integral distinguisher is suitable for a type-1 Feistel scheme of any size.

The economic impact of emission peaking control policies and China's sustainable development

To achieve the goals of national sustainable development, the peaking control of CO2 emissions is pivotal, as well as other pollutants. In this paper, we build a Chinese inter-regional CGE model and simulate 13 policies and their combinations. By analyzing the energy consumptions, coal consumptions, relating emissions and their impacts on GDP, we found that with the structure adjustment policy, the proportion of coal in primary fossil fuels in 2030 will decrease from 53% to 48% and CO2 emissions will decrease by 11.3%-22.8% compared to the baseline scenario. With the energy intensity reduction policy, CO2 emissions will decrease by 33.3% in 2030 and 47.8% in 2050 than baseline scenario. Other pollutants will also be controlled as synergetic effects. In this study we also find that although the earlier the peaking time the better for emission amounts control, the economic costs can not be ignored. The GDP will decrease by 2.96%-8.23% under different scenarios. Therefore, integrated policy solutions are needed for realizing the peaks package and more targeted measures are required to achieve the peaks of other pollutants earlier.

Land cover change in Ningbo and its surrounding area of Zhejiang Province, 1987~2000

Ningbo and its surrounding area is the forefront in the rapid economic development in the Yangtse delta, and the main production area for food supplies, cotton, edible oil and hemp; and at the same time, is the main area for wetland protection in Zhejiang Province. Our objectives were to quantify land cover change in Ningbo and its surrounding area from 1987 to 2000 and to analyze the causative factors of the change. Using 30-m resolution Landsat TM/ETM+ data and maximum likelihood classifica- tion method, we classified the study area into six land cover types: forest, agriculture, urban, freshwater, seawater and bottomland. The research results showed that significant changes in land cover occurred in the study area, and that agriculture and urban land cover change dominated most of the land cover change and were main causes for the changes of other types with human activities, such as urbanization, industrialization, etc. being the main factor while it was not very obvious whether climatic conditions have any role in the land cover changes. Agriculture, bottomland and other nature dominated land cover types are undergoing signifi- cant changes due to industrialization and urbanization, which threaten the stabilization of the environment. The study conclusion called for finding reasonable ways to solve the problems between land cover change and land use.

X-ray flares raising upon magnetar plateau as an implication of a surrounding disk of newborn magnetized neutron star

The X-ray flares have usually been ascribed to long-lasting activities of the central engine of gamma-ray bursts(GRBs),e.g.,fallback *** GRB X-ray plateaus,however,favor a millisecond magnetar central *** fallback accretion can be significantly suppressed due to the propeller effect of a ***,if the propeller regime cannot resist the mass flow onto the surface of the magnetar efficiently,the X-ray flares raising upon the magnetar plateau would be *** this work,such peculiar cases are connected to the accretion process of the magnetars,and an implication for magnetar-disc structure is *** investigate the repeated accretion process with multi-flare GRB 050730,and give a discussion for the accretion-induced variation of the magnetic field in GRB 111209 *** or more flares exhibit in the GRB 050730,060607 A and 140304 A;by adopting magnetar mass M=1.4 M_(⊙)and radius R=12 km,the average mass flow rates of the corresponding surrounding disk are 3.53×10^(-4)M_(⊙)s^(-1).4.23×10^(-4)M_(⊙)s^(-1),and 4.33×10^(-4)M_(⊙)s^(-1),and the corresponding average sizes of the magnetosphere are 5.01×10^(6)cm,6.45 x 10^(-6)cm,and 1.09×10^(-7)cm,respectively.A statistic analysis that contains eight GRBs within 12 flares shows that the total mass loading in single flare is~2×10^(-5)M_(⊙).In the lost mass of a disk,there are about 0.1%used to feed a collimated jet.

Induced neural stem cells regulate microglial activation through Akt-mediated upregulation of CXCR4 and Crry in a mouse model of closed head injury

Microglial activation that occurs rapidly after closed head injury may play important and complex roles in neuroinflammation-associated neuronal damage and *** previously reported that induced neural stem cells can modulate the behavior of activated microglia via CXCL12/CXCR4 signaling,influencing their activation such that they can promote neurological ***,the mechanism of CXCR4 upregulation in induced neural stem cells remains *** this study,we found that nuclear factor-κB activation induced by closed head injury mouse serum in microglia promoted CXCL12 and tumor necrosis factor-αexpression but suppressed insulin-like growth factor-1 ***,recombinant complement receptor 2-conjugated Crry(CR2-Crry)reduced the effects of closed head injury mouse serum-induced nuclear factor-κB activation in microglia and the levels of activated microglia,CXCL12,and tumor necrosis factor-α.Additionally,we observed that,in response to stimulation(including stimulation by CXCL12 secreted by activated microglia),CXCR4 and Crry levels can be upregulated in induced neural stem cells via the interplay among CXCL12/CXCR4,Crry,and Akt signaling to modulate microglial *** agreement with these in vitro experimental results,we found that Akt activation enhanced the immunoregulatory effects of induced neural stem cell grafts on microglial activation,leading to the promotion of neurological recovery via insulin-like growth factor-1 secretion and the neuroprotective effects of induced neural stem cell grafts through CXCR4 and Crry upregulation in the injured cortices of closed head injury ***,these beneficial effects of Akt activation in induced neural stem cells were positively correlated with the therapeutic effects of induced neural stem cells on neuronal injury,cerebral edema,and neurological disorders post–closed head *** conclusion,our findings reveal that Akt activation may enhance the immunoregulatory effects of induced neura
