Clinical validation of the early embryo viability assessment system: Analysis for the blastocyst morphology and pregnancy outcomes

Objective:to determine the relationship between the early embryo viability assessment(EEVA)and blastocyst morphological parameters and pregnancy ***:t.is retrospective cohort study was conducted on 291 intracytoplasmic sperm injection cycles including 2522 embryos with indications of prolonging embryo culture to the blastocyst stage in the Genea embryo review incubator,and 511 single vit.ified-warmed blastocyst transfer cycles from January 2020 to June *** EEVA system produced an EEVA score from E1(best)to E5(worse)for the potential of blastocyst *** morphology was *** association between the EEVA score and each type of blastocyst morphology,implantation rate,clinical pregnancy,and ongoing pregnancy were assessed using generalized estimating ***:the inner cell mass A(iCM A),trophectoderm A(tE A),blastocoele expansion degree of 3,4,5,6,7 rates were higher with lower the EEVA *** adjusted odd ratio(aOR)(E5 vs E1)was 0.3 for iCM A,0.174 for tE A and 0.210 for BL3,4,5,6,7(all Pting a significant association between lower EEVA scores and improved embryo *** implantation,clinical pregnancy,and ongoing pregnancy rate were also higher with lower the EEVA *** aOR of E5 vs E1 was 0.245 for implantation,0.185 for clinical pregnancy and 0.200 for ongoing pregnancy rate(Pions:there were associations between blastocyst morphology,pregnancy outcome and EEVA *** good blastocyst morphology and pregnancy outcomes are higher with lower the EEVA score.

BACKGROUND Sessile serrated lesions(SSLs)are considered precancerous colorectal lesions that should be detected and removed to prevent colorectal *** studies in Vietnam mainly investigated the adenoma pathway,with limited data on the serrated *** to evaluate the prevalence,risk factors,and BRAF mutations of SSLs in the Vietnamese *** t.is is a cross-sectional study conducted on patients with lower gastrointestinal symptoms who underwent colonoscopy at a tertiary hospital in *** were diagnosed on histopathology according to the 2019 World Health Organi-zation *** mutation analysis was performed using the Sanger DNA sequencing *** multivariate logistic regression model was used to determine SSL-associated *** there were 2489 patients,with a mean age of 52.1±13.1 and a female-to-male ratio of 1:*** prevalence of SSLs was 4.2%[95%confidence interval(Ci):3.5-5.1].in the multivariate analysis,factors significantly associated with SSLs were age≥40[odds ratio(OR):3.303;95%Ci:1.607-6.790],male sex(OR:2.032;95%Ci:1.204-3.429),diabetes mellitus(OR:2.721;95%Ci:1.551-4.772),and hypertension(OR:1.650,95%Ci:1.045-2.605).the rate of BRAF mutations in SSLs was 35.5%.CONCLUSiON the prevalence of SSLs was 4.2%.BRAF mutations were present.in one-t.ird of *** risk factors for SSLs included age≥40,male sex,diabetes mellitus,and hypertension.

All endoscopic imaging system using a plenoptic technique to reconstruct 3-D information is demonstrated and analyzed in t.is letter. the proposed setup integrates a clinical surgical endoscope with a plenoptic camera to achieve a depth accuracy error of about 1 mm and a precision error of about 2 mm, wit.in a 25 mm×25 mm field of view, operating at 11 frames per second.

Water level predictions in the river,lake and delta play an important role in flood *** year Mekong River delta of Vietnam is experiencing flood due to heavy monsoon rains and high *** subsidence may also aggravate flooding problems in t.is ***,accurate predictions of water levels in t.is region are very important to forewarn the people and authorities for taking timely adequate remedial measures to prevent losses of life and *** are so many methods available to predict the water levels based on historical data but nowadays Machine learning(ML)methods are considered the best tool for accurate *** t.is study,we have used surface water level data of 18 water level measurement stations of the Mekong River delta from 2000 to 2018 to build novel time-series Bagging based hybrid ML models namely:Bagging(RF),Bagging(SOM)and Bagging(M5P)to predict historical water levels in the study *** of the Bagging-based hybrid models were compared with Reduced Error Pruning trees(REPt),which is a benchmark ML *** data of 19 years period was divided into 70:30 ratio for the *** data of the period 1/2000 to 5/2013(which is about 70%of total data)was used for the training and for the period 5/2013 to 12/2018(which is about 30%of total data)was used for testing(validating)the *** of the models was evaluated using standard statistical measures:Coefficient of Determination(R2),Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)and Mean Absolute Error(MAE).Results show that the performance of all the developed models is good(R2>0.9)for the prediction of water levels in the study ***,the Bagging-based hybrid models are slightly better than another model such as ***,these Bagging-based hybrid time series models can be used for predicting water levels at Mekong data.

Sust.inable construction in the future will be influenced significantly by the beliefs and actions of civil engineering students studying at university today. A comparative investigation of the appreciation and at.itudes regarding sust.inable construction of civil engineering students at the NUCE （National University of Civil Engineering） in Vietnam, and the Universities of Loughborough and Liverpool in the UK were therefore conducted. Results indicate that students at all three universities appreciate the importance of the development of sust.inable construction and have positive at.itudes with regards to sust.inability. Construction design and appropriate use of materials were two issues generally considered the most.important with regards to sust.inability, but were also thought to be adequately covered on the courses in all three institutions.

Subcutaneous injection of liquid silicone for cosmetic augmentation procedures is common in Asian count.ies for years. tissue inflammatory reaction has had a bad influence on society because: *** has been a large number of patients,over many years. ***,allergic reactions worsen health and decrease labor productivity. *** cosmetic damage on the face may isolate patients from their community. *** is difficult because both eradication of the diseased tissue and restoration of the cosmetic appearance of the nasal pyramid must be done simultaneously. *** treatments result.in recurrences and/or aggravate the situation and cause further serious cosmetic sequelae. Objectives:to design a surgical method to t.ial the eradication of tissue inflammatory reactions and restore the cosmetic effects to patients. Method:Nine hundreds and eighty patients were operated on to remove siliconoma of the nose for cosmetic *** study out.ines the general principe of considering the siliconoma as a neoplastic tissue that.is to be radically removed,along with restoring the reasonable cosmetic effects for the patients. A classification of the patients according to the seriousness of the disease,was *** vestibular incision,external rhinoplastic approach,degloving approach were employed in most of the operations. tissue autograft - and homograft(cartilage,dura mater,fascia...) and some types of biocompatible materials(silicone elastomer,Gore-tex...) were used for reconstruction of nasal pyramids and the cheeks. Results:the 1 to 10 years follow-up demonstrated good and satisfactory results wim the halt of inflammatory reactions and restoration of cosmetic effects in more than 90%of cases. Conclusions:t.is serious pathology can be treated with encouraging results with surgical treatment based on radical removal of diseased tissue following an appropriate *** removal of diseased tissue and reconstruction with composite
