objective:To investigate the prevalence and risk factors associated with long CoVID symptoms among children and adolescents who have recovered from ***:this study applied a cross-sectional approach within community settings in a southern province of Vietnam.A structured questionnaire featuring socio-demographic information and common long CoVID symptoms was *** correlation coefficients assessed associations among pairs of long CoVID ***,multivariable logistic regression models were performed to investigate the risk factors of long CoVID in recovered CoVID-19 children and ***:Among 422 participants,39.3%reported long CoVID symptoms,with a prevalence of 45.2%(SD=0.5)in children and 22.2%(SD=0.4)in *** symptoms reported were cough 34.6%(SD=0.5),fatigue 20.6%(SD=0.4),shortness of breath 10.9%(SD=0.3),and lack of appetite 6.6%(SD=0.3).Concerning risk factors of long CoVID,a higher risk was observed among demographic groups,including girls(oR 1.25,95%CI 1.15-1.37;Poys),children compared to adolescents(oR 1.24,95%CI 1.12-1.37;Poverweight individuals(oR 1.14,95%CI 1.02-1.27;P=0.018,reference:healthy weight),and participants without any CoVID-19 vaccination(oR 1.36,95%CI 1.20-1.54;Por have received only one single dose(oR 1.35,95%CI 1.10-1.64;P=0.004)compared to those who have received two ***,patients with a CoVID-19 treatment duration exceeding two weeks also had a higher risk of long CoVID(oR 1.32,95%CI 1.09-1.60;P=0.003)than those who recovered less than seven ***:the insights from this study provide crucial guidance for predicting the factors associated with the occurrence of long CoVID in pediatric patients,contributing to strategic interventions aimed at mitigating the long CoVID risks among children and adolescents in Vietnam.

In recent years,the detection of fake job descriptions has become increasingly necessary because social networking has changed the way people access burgeoning information in the internet *** fraud in job descriptions can help jobseekers to avoid many of the risks of job ***,the problem of detecting fake job descriptions comes up against the problem of class imbalance when the number of genuine jobs exceeds the number of fake *** causes a reduction in the predictability and performance of traditional machine learning *** therefore present an efficient framework that uses an oversampling technique called FJD-oT(Fake Job Description Detection Using oversampling Techniques)to improve the predictability of detecting fake job *** the proposed framework,we apply several techniques including the removal of stop words and the use of a tokenizer to preprocess the text data in the first *** then use a bag of words in combination with the term frequency-inverse document frequency(TF-IDF)approach to extract the features from the text data to create the feature dataset in the second ***,our framework applies k-fold cross-validation,a commonly used technique to test the effectiveness of machine learning models,that splits the experimental dataset[the Employment Scam Aegean(ESA)dataset in our study]into training and test sets for *** training set is passed through the third module,an oversampling module in which the SVMSMoTE method is used to balance data before training the classifiers in the last *** experimental results indicate that the proposed approach significantly improves the predictability of fake job description detection on the ESA dataset based on several popular performance metrics.

An updraft gasifier was employed to treat 3 kg of dried rice husk per batch with different types of gasifying agents such as air,steam/air,and air with dolomite catalyst addition at various operating *** H2 content,low heating value,and H2/Co ratio in syngas were compared to determine the most effective solution to enhance the H2 production from rice husk *** presence of dolomite in air gasification produced the highest H2 content in the product gas,up to 15.4 mol%,followed by 7.08 and 3.6 mol%when steam/air and air standalone were used as gasifying agents,*** higher low heating value of syngas 5.1 MJ/Nm3 was observed in catalytic air gasification compared to 3.6 MJ/Nm3 when steam was *** optimal operation condition was reported at an airflow rate of 3 m3/h and a catalyst mixing ratio of 15%.

Crohn’s-like acute severe colitis associated with Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome: A case report

BACKGRoUND Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome(HPS)is a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by oculocutaneous albinism,platelet storage pool deficiency and systemic complications associated with ceroid deposition in the reticuloendothelial *** types 1 and 4 are associated with Crohn’s disease(CD)-like gastrointestinal disorders,such as granulomatous enterocolitis or perianal *** of colitis can be particularly severe and,before the use of anti-tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNFα)therapy had become common,were reported as showing poor responsiveness to medical *** SUMMARY We present the case of a 51-year-old albino woman who presented with acute severe colitis that led to the diagnosis of *** findings of biopsy samples showed chronic inflammation with deep ulcerations,and granulomas without caseous *** genetic analysis confirmed HPS type 1,with a homozygous 27 base-pair deletion in exon 20 of the HPS1 *** the patient’s bleeding diathesis was corrected by platelet transfusion,the granulomatous colitis responded dramatically to a medical treatment regimen that included corticosteroids,azathioprine and infliximab;this regimen is similar to that used in CD *** it remains unclear if the granulomatous enterocolitis in HPS is due to ceroid deposition or reflects the co-existence of CD and HPS,the fact that this case of HPS-related granulomatous colitis responded to the same therapeutic approach used in CD suggests that this type of colitis may result from HPS patients’genetic susceptibility to *** We report a case of severe colitis that led to the diagnosis of HPS,which was responsive to azathioprine and infliximab.

Surface PEGylation of hollow mesoporous silica nanoparticles via aminated intermediate

A hybrid of organic/inorganic system, hollow mesoporous silica nanoparticles functionalized with poly(ethylene glycol), was synthesized in the presence of coupling agent and aminated ends. Doxorubicin(DoX) was used as a model drug to evaluate the effect of PEGylation on the loading capacity and release pattern of the *** with transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), nitrogen adsorption-desorption, thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) and Fourier transformed infrared(FTIR) confirmed the PEG conjugation, as well as the amorphous mesoporous nature of the synthesized particles. Due to the capping effect of PEG molecules over the pores in the silica structure, the synthesized system was able to retain higher amount of cargo and establish a controlled manner when releasing.

Landslide susceptibility maps (LSMs) are very crucial for planningpolicies in hazardous areas. However, the accuracy and reliability ofLSMs depend on available data and the selection of suitable *** study is conducted to produce LSMs by combinations of machinelearning methods and weighting techniques for Ha Giang province,Vietnam, where has limited data. In study area, we gather 11 landslideconditioning factors and establish a landslide inventory *** the weights of classes (or factors) is very important toprepare data for machine learning methods to generate LSMs. Wefrst use frequency ratio (FR) and analytic hierarchy process (AHP)techniques to generate the weights. then, random forest (RF), supportvector machine (SVM), logistic regression (LR), and AHP methods arecombined with FR and AHP weights to yield accurate and reliableLSMs. Finally, the performance of these methods is evaluated by fivestatistical metrics, RoC and R-index. the empirical results have shownthat RF is the best method in terms of R-index and the five metrics, *** rate (0.9661), FP rate (0.0), ACC (0.9835), MAE (0.0046), and RMSE(0.0350) for this study area. this study opens the perspective of weightbasedmachine learning methods for landslide susceptibility mapping.

ong>Aims:ong> Wound care is the basic technique in patient care which has direct effects on treatment outcome. However, the Agriculture General Hospital (AGH), Vietnam, has never organized a continuing professional development (CPD) training program based on Vietnam’s Basic Nursing Competency Standards (VNBNCS) for their nurses. this study aimed to examine the knowledge, practice, and confidence level among nurses at the AGH after 12 months of implementing a VNBNCS-based wound care training program. ong>Methodology: ong>this descriptive and comparative study assessed the changes in knowledge, practice, and confidence scores of 43 nurses at five clinical departments before and 12 months after the training program (April 2018 to June 2019). Data were collected using a self-administrated knowledge questionnaire with 48 items, a 13-item confidence checklist, and a 16-item skills checklist. EpiData 3.1 and SPSS 18.0 were used to enter and analyze data, respectively. ong>Results:ong> the mean scores of knowledge (113.70 ± 14.75 vs. 129.7 ± 19.6), and practice (63.21 ± 19.99 vs. 132.07 ± 4.31) statistically significantly increased 12 months after training (p the mean score of confidence in performing wound care increased in all of the 13 aspects (p ong>Conclusion:ong> Nurses’ wound care-related knowledge, practice, and confidence have improved 12 months after training. this demonstrates the VNBNCS-based wound care training program developed by Viet Duc University Hospital is suitable for use in the AGH and has achieved its promising initial outcomes. this program should be duplicated in other health facilities.

Estimation of the Solid Waste Generation and Recycling Potential of the Hotel Sector: A Case Study in Hue City, Vietnam

this study examined the solid waste generation and recycling potential of the hotel sector in Hue City, Vietnam. the authors conducted waste measurement, waste composition, and questionnaire surveys for 45 target hotels over ten consecutive days. the waste generation rates (WGRs) by rooms, beds, guests, and workers were assessed by hotel class using the following three waste categories, considering informal waste collection: general waste (GW), separated recyclables (SRe), and separated food residue (SFR). the 5-star hotels exhibited the highest WGR per room at 1.61 kg/room/day, while 1-star hotels exhibited the lowest per-room WGR (0.39 kg/room/day). Spearman Rank correlation test revealed that hotel class and per-room, per-bed, and per-guest WGRs were significantly positively correlated (p the major components of GW were food waste (40.9% to 57.4%), paper (10.1% to 20.3%), and plastic (10.7% to 15.5%). the recycling and composting potentials remaining in the GW were 19.3% to 38.5% and 38.0% to 57.9%, respectively. Based on the WGRs and waste composition determined in this study, the estimated total amount of waste generated was 6.88 tons/day (6.26 to 7.62 tons/day, 95% CI), of which 4.37 (64%), 2.13 (31%), and 0.38 tons/day (6%) were GW, SFR, and SRe, respectively. the recycling and composting potentials remaining in GW were 0.94 (13%) and 2.57 tons/day (37%), respectively. High-class hotels should be considered as the highest priority targets for a “reduce, reuse, recycle” (3R) promotion campaign in the future, with estimated recycling and composting potentials of 0.27 (4%) and 1.10 tons/day (16%), respectively.
