The multiple roles of the tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α-inducible protein 8(TNFAIP8),also named TIPE family of proteins have been shown in tumor and inflammation progression and regulation of cellular autophagy and apoptosis.In this review,we found that the TIPE family showed highly homologous sequences and conserved functional domains,such as the death effector domain(DED)-like domain but displayed different roles and mechanisms in different biological activities.For example,while TIPE is primarily associated with tumor progression and antitumor drug resistance,TIPE1 suppresses tumor progression in most instances.TIPE2 has multiple roles in tumor progression regulation,and antitumor drug resistance.Moreover,TIPE2 was also involved in inflammatory response regulation,tumor typing,and staging.A few studies reported that TIPE3 was engaged in tumor development by activating the phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase(PI3K)/protein kinase B(AKT)signaling pathway.The structure,function,and mechanism of the TIPE family in cancer and inflammation have been summarized in this review.This might serve as a reference for further research on the TIPE family and shed new light on the crosstalk among antitumor responses,inflammation,and immunology.

In situ polymerization of 1,3-dioxolane infiltrating 3D garnet framework with high ionic conductivity and excellent interfacial stability for integrated solid-state Li metal battery

The polymer-ceramic composite electrolyte is considered as one of promising electrolytes for solid-state battery.However,in previous research,ceramic particles are usually dispersed in polymer matrix and could not form continuous Li+conductive channels.The agglomeration of ceramic particles could also lead to low ionic conductivity and poor interfacial electrode/electrolyte contact.In this paper,self-supported porous Li_(6.4)La_(3) Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO) electrolyte is synthesized by gelcasting process,which possesses three-dimensional(3D) interconnected pore channels and relatively high strength.The 1,3-dioxolane(DOL) could penetrate into the porous LLZTO framework for its excellent fluidity.The subsequent in situ polymerization process by thermal treatment could completely fill the internal pores and improve the interfacial contact with electrode.The resulting 3D composite electrolyte with dual continuous Li+transport channels in ceramic and polymer components exhibits high ionic conductivity of 2.8 × 10^(-4) S·cm^(-1) at room temperature and low Li/electrolyte interfacial resistance of 94 Ω·cm^(2) at 40 ℃.The corresponding Li/Li symmetric cell delivers stable voltage profiles for over 600 h under 0.1 and 0.2 mA·cm^(-2).The solid-state Li/LiFePO_(4) battery shows superior rate and cycling performance under 0.1 C and 0.2 C.This work guides the preparation of composite electrolyte with dual continuous Li+conductive paths as well as high ceramic ratio and interface modification strategy for solid-state Li metal battery.

信息通信技术的普及应用产生了复杂的社会影响。基于中国家庭追踪调查数据,从多个维度构建民生风险感知指标,采用多元回归、固定效应模型以及工具变量法探究了公众的互联网使用行为与民生风险感知的关联性。研究结果表明:第一,信息通信技术的普及对公众民生风险感知的转变产生了深刻影响,互联网使用行为显著增强了个体的民生风险感知水平。第二,互联网对民生风险感知的强化效应在不同群体间存在程度上的差异,其强化效应在中高收入和中老年群体以及城镇地区更加明显。第三,在环境保护、医疗、教育和贫富差距等领域的民生风险感知转变过程中,互联网发挥的强化效应更为突出。

BYPASS1-LIKE regulates lateral root initiation via exocytic vesicular trafficking-mediated PIN recycling in Arabidopsis

Auxin and auxin-mediated signaling pathways are known to regulate lateral root development.Although exocytic vesicle trafficking plays an important role in recycling the PIN-FORMED(PIN)auxin efflux carriers and in polar auxin transport during lateral root formation,the mechanistic details of these processes are not well understood.Here,we demonstrate that BYPASS1-LIKE(B1 L)regulates lateral root initiation via exocytic vesicular trafficking-mediated PIN recycling in Arabidopsis thaliana.b1 l mutants contained significantly more lateral roots than the wild type,primarily due to increased lateral root primordium initiation.Furthermore,the auxin signal was stronger in stage I lateral root primordia of b1 l than in those of the wild type.Treatment with exogenous auxin and an auxin transport inhibitor indicated that the lateral root phenotype of b1 l could be attributed to higher auxin levels and that B1 L regulates auxin efflux.Indeed,compared to the wild type,C-terminally green fluorescent protein-tagged PIN1 and PIN3 accumulated at higher levels in b1 l lateral root primordia.B1 L interacted with the exocyst,and b1 l showed defective PIN exocytosis.These observations indicate that B1 L interacts with the exocyst to regulate PIN-mediated polar auxin transport and lateral root initiation in Arabidopsis.

Attosecond probing and control of charge migration in carbon-chain molecule

In quantum mechanics,when an electron is quickly ripped off from a molecule,a superposition of new eigenstates of the cation creates an electron wave packet that governs the charge flow inside,which has been called charge migration(CM).Experimentally,extracting such dynamics at its natural(attosecond)timescale is quite difficult.We report the first such experiment in a linear carbon-chain molecule,butadiyne(C_(4)H_(2)),via high-harmonic spectroscopy(HHS).By employing advanced theoretical and computational tools,we showed that the wave packet and the CM of a single molecule are reconstructed from the harmonic spectra for each fixed-in-space angle of the molecule.For this onedimensional molecule,we calculate the center of charge (t) to obtain v_(cm),to quantify the migration speed and how it depends on the orientation angle.The findings also uncover how the electron dynamics at the first few tens to hundreds of attoseconds depends on molecular structure.The method can be extended to other molecules where the HHS technique can be employed.

Dear Editor, Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats （CRISPR） system is part of the adaptive immunity of bacteria and archaea that defends them against phage infection （Barrangou and Doudna, 2016）. Variant CRISPR systems have been identified and harnessed for a wide range of applications in various organisms, exemplified by gene editing with the CRISPR/Cas9 system from Streptococcuspyogenes （Barrangou and Doudna, 2016）.

A multimode digital controller IC for flyback converter with high accuracy primary-side feedback

A digital controller IC for the flyback converter with primary-side feedback is proposed. The controller is used for adapter charger or leD driver applications. To obtain high accuracy for the primary-side feedback, a digital primary-side sensing technology is adopted, which can auto-track the knee point of the primary auxiliary winding voltage. Furthermore, an internal digital compensator eliminates the need for external loop compensation components while achieving excellent line and load regulation. The controller could output both constant voltage and constant current depending on the load current. Pulse width modulation and pulse frequency modulation are used in constant voltage mode while quasi-resonant control is used in constant current mode. The digital controller is validated by using FPGA.
