In this study,we reported on the concept and practical use of cation exchange resin(CER)for removing anions in water via pretreating the CER with metal *** cation exchange resinsupported iron and magnesium oxides/hydroxides composite(FeMg/CER)was synthesized and introduced as a new and potential adsorbent for selective removal of nitrate ion in the water *** of FeMg/CER were determined by techniques such as Fouriertransform infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy,and Xray *** results showed that FeMg/CER material had a high nitrate adsorption capacity of 200 mg NO_(3)^()·g^(1)with a fast equilibrium adsorption time of 30 min at pH *** addition,it had good durability of at least 10 times of regeneration,which could be applied to practical water and wastewater treatment.

Cost-effective CO_(2) adsorbents are gaining increasing attention as viable solutions for mitigating climate *** this study,composites were synthesized by electrochemically combining the post-gasification residue of Macadamia nut shell with copper benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylate(CuBTC).Among the different composites synthesized,the ratio of 1:1 between biochar and CuBTC(B 1:1)demonstrated the highest CO_(2) adsorption *** controlled laboratory conditions(0°C,1 bar,without the influence of ambient moisture or CO_(2) diffusion limitations),B 1:1 achieved a CO_(2) adsorption capacity of 9.8 mmol/g,while under industrial-like conditions(25℃,1 bar,taking into account the impact of ambient moisture and CO_(2) diffusion limitations within a bed of adsorbent),it reached 6.2 mmol/*** values surpassed those reported for various advanced CO_(2) adsorbents investigated in previous *** superior performance of the B 1:1 composite can be attributed to the optimization of the number of active sites,porosity,and the preservation of the full physical and chemical surface properties of both ***,the composite exhibited a notable CO_(2)/N_(2) selectivity and improved stability under moisture *** favorable characteristics make B 1:1 a promising candidate for industrial applications.

Recent advancements in additive manufacturing(AM)have revolutionized the design and production of complex engineering *** these advancements,their mathematical modeling and computational analysis remain significant *** research aims to develop an effective computational method for analyzing the free vibration of functionally graded(FG)microplates under high temperatures while resting on a Pasternak foundation(PF).This formulation leverages a new thirdorder shear deformation theory(new TSDT)for improved accuracy without requiring shear correction ***,the modified couple stress theory(MCST)is incorporated to account for sizedependent effects in *** PF is characterized by two parameters including spring stiffness(k_(w))and shear layer stiffness(k_(s)).To validate the proposed method,the results obtained are compared with those of the existing ***,numerical examples explore the influence of various factors on the high-temperature free vibration of FG *** factors include the length scale parameter(l),geometric dimensions,material properties,and the presence of the elastic *** findings significantly enhance our comprehension of the free vibration of FG microplates in high thermal *** addition,the findings significantly enhance our comprehension of the free vibration of FG microplates in high thermal *** addition,the results of this research will have great potential in military and defense applications such as components of submarines,fighter aircraft,and missiles.

baCKGROUND Hepatic eosinophilic pseudotumor(HEPT)is a rare condition that mimics ma-lignant hepatic tumors,posing significant diagnostic *** case report highlights the importance of considering parasitic infections like Fasciola hepatica(***)in the differential diagnosis of hepatic masses,especially in endemic regions,to prevent unnecessary *** SUMMARY A 40-year-old female presented with a 1-month history of epigastric pain and significant weight *** revealed a hepatic mass,initially misdiagnosed as intrahepatic *** results showed marked eosinophilia,and histopathological examination confirmed significant eosinophilic infiltration without *** testing identified *** *** patient was treated with a single dose of triclabendazole,leading to complete symptom resolution and normalization of hepatic imaging findings within *** HEPT due to *** can closely mimic malignancy;timely antiparasitic treat-ment is crucial for resolution.

baCKGROUND Tacrolimus(TAC)is metabolized primarily by the CYP3A-encoded enzyme family(CYP3A4,CYP3A5,and CYP3A7).Individuals expressing the CYP3A51 allele are considered fast metabolizers and generally require higher TAC doses to reach therapeutic *** To evaluate the predictive value of the TAC concentration-to-dose(C0/D)ratio for identifying CYP3A5 poly-morphisms in renal transplant *** Eighty-six de novo kidney transplant recipients with TAC-based immunosuppression from the Department of Nephrology and Dialysis at Military Hospital 103(Hanoi,Vietnam)were included in this retrospective *** samples were collected within the first week post-transplantation to monitor TAC levels and to perform genotyping for CYP3A5 genetic *** The CYP3A53/3 genotype was identified in 37 patients(43%),CYP3A51/3 in 40 patients(46.5%),and CYP3A51/1 in 9 patients(10.5%).Patients carrying the CYP3A51/3 or CYP3A51/1 genotype,classified as fast metabolizers(CYP3A5 expressers),had significantly lower TAC C0 concentrations and C0/D ratios compared to slow meta-bolizers(CYP3A53/3 genotype)at multiple time points during follow-up(all Ple predictive value for CYP3A5 polymorphisms,which can be used to individualize TAC dosing in renal transplant recipients in Vietnam and other low-income countries.

LiMn_2O_4/CNTs and LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_4/CNTs Nanocomposites as High-Performance Cathode Materials for Lithium-Ion batteries

The demand of higher energy density and higher power capacity of lithium（Li）-ion secondary batteries has led to the search for electrode materials whose capacities and performance are better than those available today. Carbon nanotubes（CNTs）, with their unique properties such as 1D tubular structure, high electrical and thermal conductivities, and extremely large surface area, have been used as materials to prepare cathodes for Li-ion batteries. The structure and morphology of CNTs were analyzed by X-ray diffraction（XRD）, scanning electron microscopy（SEM）, and transmission electron microscopy（TEM）. The functional groups on the purified CNT surface such as –COOH, –OH were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The electrode materials were fabricated from LiMn2O4（LMO）, doped spinel LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4, and purified CNTs via solid-state reaction. The structure and morphology of the electrode were characterized using XRD, SEM, and TEM. Finally, the efficiency of the electrode materials using CNTs was evaluated by cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.

Fabrication and characterization of YVO_4:Eu^(3+) nanomaterials by the microwave technique

Fabrication and characterization of YVO4：Eu^3＋ nanophosphors prepared by microwave （MW） irradiation assisted soft template synthesis were reported. The effects of synthesis conditions such as different powers of MW irradiation, pH values and concentration of reac- tion materials on properties of nanophosphor were also investigated to obtain the controllable size, morphology and high luminescence efficiency. Morphology, crystalline structure, and optical properties were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy （FE-SEM）, X-ray diffraction （XRD） and fluorescence spectroscopy, respectively. The results showed that YVOa：Eu^3＋ nanophosphors were obtained by using diethyleneglycol （DEG） as soft template, with pH values in the range of 4 to 12, upon microwave irradiation from 300 to 900 W, at temperature of 80 ℃. The high fluorescent YVOa：Eu^3＋ nanocrystals obtained with size from 15 nm down to 8 nm are more effective to develop an ultrahigh sensitive fluorescent label for biomolecule, cell and tissue.

Fabrication and properties of high efficiency luminescent nanorods EuPO_4·H_2O by soft template method

Europium orthophosphate monohydrate （EuPO4·H2O） nanorods with typical dimensions of about 10-30 nm in diameter and 300-500 nm in length were prepared by using the soft template method. The effects of using diethylene glycol （DEG） and polyethylene glycol （PEG） polymers as well as the pH values on the size, crystalline structure and morphology of EuPO4·H2O nanorods were investigated. Field emission scanning electron microscopy （FESEM） and X-ray diffraction （XRD） data of the prepared samples were elucidated. The nanorods were highly uniform and their mean length was reduced by using DEG and PEG as soft template agents. For all prepared samples, the rhabdophanetype hexagonal EuPO4·H2O was the dominated phase. The photoluminescence （PL） spectroscopy measurements of EuPO4·H2O nanorods revealed that, under UV excitation, EuPO4·H2O nanorods exhibited strong luminescence with narrow bands corresponding to the intra-4f transitions of ^5D0→^7Fj （j=1, 2, 3, 4） of Eu^3＋ ions. The peaks were found at 594 nm （^5D0→^7F1）, 619 nm （^5D0→^7F2）, 652 nm （^5D0→^7F3）, and 697 nm （^5D0→^7F4）, with the strongest emission at 594 nm.

Noetherian Dimension and Co-localization of Artinian Modules over Local Rings

let （R,m） be a Noetherian local ring. Denote by N-dimnA the Noetherian dimension of an Artinian R-module A. In this paper, we give some characterizations for the ring R to satisfy N-dimRA = dim（R/AnnRA） for certain Artinian R-modules A. Then the existence of a co-localization compatible with Artinian R-modules is studied and it is shown that if it is compatible with local cohomologies of finitely generated modules, then the base ring is universally catenary and all of its formal fibers are Cohen-Macaulay.
