Effects of low clock rolling passes on through-thickness deformation and recrystallization behavior of the Ta sheet have been *** clock-rolled samples with one cycle(8 passes) were systematically examined under different thickness layers.X-ray diffraction(XRD) and X-ray diffraction line profile analysis(XLPA)showed that the extremely inhomogeneous texture evolution generated and the bulk stored energy existed in the through-thickness clock-rolled Ta sheet after 8 *** electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD) results revealed the misorientation of the grains in the deformed samples,indicating that grain subdivision in the surface and center layer was more serious than that in the quarter *** intensities misorientation indicates the presence of microshear bands in the surface and center *** annealing,the difference of the stored energy and the fragmentation of deformation microstructure along the thickness led to a heterogeneous driving force for the nucleation of the grains,resulting in subsequent different recrystallization rate in the different regions of the sample.

Evaluating environmental flow(EF)is pivotal for conserving and restoring riverine ***,prevalent EF evaluations presume that a river reach's hydraulic conditions are exclusively governed by inflow discharge,presupposing a state of equilibrium in the river *** presumption narrows the scope of EF evaluations in expansive alluvial rivers like the Middle Yangtze River(MYR),characterized by marked channel *** we show the profound channel erosion process and its impact on EF requirements for riparian habitats within the *** research unveils that:(i)pronounced erosion has led to a mean reduction of 1.0-2.7 m in the riverbed across four sub-reaches of the MYR;(ii)notwithstanding a 37-107%increase in minimal discharges post the Three Gorges Project,the lowest river stages at some hydrometric stations diminished owing to bed erosion,signifying a notable transformation in MYR's hydraulic dynamics;(iii)a discernible rightward shift in the correlation curve between the weighted useable area and discharge from 2002 to 2020 in a specific sub-reach of the MYR,instigated by alterations in hydraulic conditions,necessitated an increase of 1500e2600 m^(3)s^(-1)in the required EF for the sub-reach;(iv)it is deduced that macroinvertebrate biomass rapidly decreases as the flow entrains the riverbed substrate,with the maximum survivable velocity for macroinvertebrates being contingent on their entrainment *** findings highlight the importance of incorporating channel morphological changes in devising conservation strategies for the MYR ecosystem.

Multi-gradient drilling is a new offshore drilling *** accurate calculation of the related wellbore temperature is of great significance for the prediction of the gas hydrate formation area and the precise control of the wellbore *** this study,a new heat transfer model is proposed by which the variable mass flow is properly taken into *** this model,the effects of the main factors influencing the wellbore temperature are *** results indicate that at the position where the separation injection device is installed,the temperature increase of the fluid in the drill pipe is mitigated due to the inflow/outflow of hollow spheres,and the temperature drop of the fluid in the annulus also *** addition,a lower separation efficiency of the device,a shallower installation depth and a smaller circulating displacement tend to increase the temperature near the bottom of the annulus,thereby helping to reduce the hydrate generation area and playing a positive role in the prevention and control of hydrates in deepwater drilling.

Retention Mechanism of Phenolic Compounds in Subcritical Water Chromatography

The transfer enthalpies and entropies of hydroxyl and nitryl in different mobile phase systems were compared by van＇t Hoff curve. Results suggest that the presence of acetonitrile and methanol in the mobile phase may decrease the interaction of solute and stationary phase with respect to subcritical water, thereby reducing the contribution of enthalpy to the retention. Retention mechanisms of phenolic compound appear to be more similar in subcritical water and water/methanol systems on the PRP-1 column. Hydrogen bond in subcritical water system plays a very important role in the retention of the phenols.

Binary monomers of maleic acid and vinyl acetate are grafted onto poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) powder by pre-irradiation induced graft polymerization technique in emulsion solution. The co-grafting of binary monomers is successfully proved by FT-IR spectroscopy analysis. The influences of the absorbed dose, reaction temperature, reaction time, total concentration of monomers, and feed ratio of binary monomers on the degree of grafting are investigated. The thermal property of grafted PVDF powder was characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermo-gravimetry analysis (TGA).

The modeling of switching loss in semiconductor power devices is important in practice for the prediction and evaluation of thermal safety and system *** simulation-based behavioral models and data processing-based empirical models are difficult and have limited *** the artificial neural network(ANN) algorithm has often been used for modeling, it has never been used for modeling insulated gate bipolar transistor(IGBT) transient *** this paper, we attempt to use the ANN method for this purpose, using a customized switching loss test *** compare its performance with two conventional curve-fitting models and verify the results by *** model is generally superior in calculation speed, accuracy, and data requirement, and is also able to be extended to loss modeling for all kinds of semiconductor power devices.

In this paper,a sensitivity matrix based approach is proposed to improve the minimum damping *** proposed method also avoids burdensome deviation calculations of damping ratio of large-scale power grids when compared to the Small-Signal-Stability Constrained Optimal Power Flow(SSSC-OPF)*** is achieved using the Matrix Perturbation Theory(MPT)to deal with the 2nd order sensitivity matrices,and the establishment of an optimal corrective control model to regulate the output power of generating units to improve the minimum damping ratio of power ***,simulation results on the IEEE 9-bus,IEEE 39-bus and a China 634-bus systems show that the proposed approach can significantly reduce the burden of deviation calculation,while enhancing power system stability and ensuring calculation accuracy.

The hydrophobic surface modification of chitosan gels was carried out using the amidating reaction of amido groups on a gel surface with stearic acid activated by 1-ethyl-3-（3-dimethylaminopropyl）-carbodiimide hydrochloride （EDC） and N-hydroxysuccinimide （NHS）. Lipases from Candida rugosa were adsorbed on the nascent chitosan gels （CS） and stearyl-modified gels （SCS） with different degrees of amidation. The increased surface hydrophobicity of chitosan gels improved the adsorption capacity and activity of the immobilized lipase. SCS with 31.46% amidation showed the maximum activity retention （83.43%）. The experimental results suggest that the moderate surface hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity of chitosan gels is necessary for the improvement of the activity of immobilized lipase. ？2009 Hong Tao deng.
