This article aims at providing a critical review of some most recent developments in the electrochemical detection and measurement of hydrogen sulphide and the related species, which are of great significance to a variety of industries and in environmental moitoring. The molecular recognition processes are initiated by using either an organic precursor or a catalytic complex, leading to extensive ranges of detection. A series of advanced chemical and simulation techniques are used to probe the mechanistic details of the analytical chemistry involved.

Purpose: To give a theoretical framework to measure the relative impact of bibliometric methodology on the subfields of a scientific discipline, and how that impact depends on the method of evaluation used to credit individual scientists with citations and publications. The authors include a study of the discipline of physics to illustrate the method. Indicators are introduced to measure the proportion of a credit space awarded to a subfield or a set of ***/methodology/approach: The theoretical methodology introduces the notion of credit spaces for a discipline. These quantify the total citation or publication credit accumulated by the scientists in the discipline. One can then examine how the credit is divided among the subfields. The design of the physics study uses the American Physical society print journals to assign subdiscipline classifications to articles and gather citation, publication, and author information. Credit spaces for the collection of Physical Review Journal articles are computed as a proxy for ***: There is a substantial difference in the value or impact of a specific subfield depending on the credit system employed to credit individual *** limitations: subfield classification information is difficult to obtain. In the illustrative physics study, subfields are treated in groups designated by the Physical Review journals. While this collection of articles represents a broad part of the physics literature, it is not all the literature nor a random *** implications: The method of crediting individual scientists has consequences beyond the individual and affects the perceived impact of whole subfields and institutions. Originality/value: The article reveals the consequences of bibliometric methodology on subfields of a disciple by introducing a systematic theoretical framework for measuring the consequences.

Cancers are a concerning health catastrophe worldwide that may become the end of lifetime for many of us--they overwhelmingly exhaust medical resources, lead to huge economic burdens, and separate people from their beloved ones. Fewer and fewer insurance agencies are willing to include primary cancers on their general health insurance plan, just because cancers have been so flummoxingly usual in our daily life that many primary cancer claims would give rise to much less profits.

Leaf disease recognition using image processing and deep learning techniques is currently a vibrant research *** studies have focused on recognizing diseases from images of whole *** approach limits the resulting models’ability to estimate leaf disease severity or identify multiple anomalies occurring on the same *** studies have demonstrated that classifying leaf diseases based on individual lesions greatly enhances disease recognition *** those studies,however,the lesions were laboriously cropped by *** study proposes a semi-automatic algorithm that facilitates the fast and efficient preparation of datasets of individual lesions and leaf image pixel maps to overcome this *** datasets were then used to train and test lesion classifier and semantic segmentation Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)models,*** report that googLeNet’s disease recognition accuracy improved by more than 15%when diseases were recognized from lesion images compared to when disease recognition was done using images of whole leaves.A CNN model which performs semantic segmentation of both the leaf and lesions in one pass is also proposed in this *** proposed KijaniNet model achieved state-of-the-art segmentation performance in terms of mean Intersection over Union(mIoU)score of 0.8448 and 0.6257 for the leaf and lesion pixel classes,*** terms of mean boundary F1 score,the KijaniNet model attained 0.8241 and 0.7855 for the two pixel classes,***,a fully automatic algorithm for leaf disease recognition from individual lesions is *** algorithm employs the semantic segmentation network cascaded to a googLeNet classifier for lesion-wise disease *** proposed fully automatic algorithm outperforms competing methods in terms of its superior segmentation and classification performance despite being trained on a small dataset.

Fixture design and planning is one of the most important manufacturing activities, playing a pivotal role in deciding the lead time for product development. Fixture design, which affects the part-quality in terms of geometric accuracy and surface finish, can be enhanced by using the product manufacturing information(PMI) stored in the neutral standard for the exchange of product model data(sTEP) file, thereby integrating design and manufacturing. The present paper proposes a unique fixture design approach, to extract the geometry information from sTEP application protocol(AP) 242 files of computer aided design(CAD) models, for providing automatic suggestions of locator positions and clamping surfaces. Automatic feature extraction software "FiXplan", developed using the programming language C#, is used to extract the part feature, dimension and geometry information. The information from the sTEP AP 242 file is deduced using geometric reasoning techniques, which in turn is utilized for fixture planning. The developed software is observed to be adept in identifying the primary, secondary, and tertiary locating faces and locator position configurations of prismatic components. structural analysis of the prismatic part under different locator positions was performed using commercial finite element method software, ABAQUs, and the optimized locator position was identified on the basis of minimum deformation of the *** area-ratio(base locator enclosed area(%)/work piece base area(%)) for the ideal locator configuration was observed as 33%. Experiments were conducted on a prismatic workpiece using a specially designed fixture, for different locator configurations. The surface roughness and waviness of the machined surfaces were analysed using an Alicona non-contact optical profilometer.
