We show that when A is a separable c*-algebra, every countably generated Hilbert A-module is projective(with bounded module maps as morphisms). We also study the approximate extensions of bounded module maps. In the case where A is a σ-unital simple c*-algebra with strict comparison, and every strictly positive lower semicontinuous affine function on quasitraces can be realized as the rank of an element in the cuntz semigroup, we show that the cuntz semigroup is equivalent to unitarily equivalent classes of countably generated Hilbert A-modules if and only if A has stable rank one.

文章以210名国内高校外语教师为研究对象,在计划行为理论的基础上结合结构方程模型和半结构化访谈的研究方法,探讨了教师对将非正式数字化英语学习整合到教学实践中的意愿。研究发现:(1)态度和知觉行为控制可以直接影响高校教师对课程整合非正式数字化英语学习的行为意愿,而主观规范则不能对该意愿起显著的预测作用;(2)高校教师对非正式数字化英语学习的态度受到其数字素养水平的显著影响;(3)对知觉行为控制的评估受到外部信念及特定教学环境等多种主客观条件的影响。研究结果有助于为国内高校外语教师专业发展和课外数字化英语教学议程设置提供参考。

Formulation of Infant Flours Based on Fonio Enriched with Bambara Groundnut Anacardium (cashew) and African Locust Bean Fruit Pulp

Infant malnutrition is a significant issue in côte d’Ivoire, and this study aims to address it by formulating infant flours using local ingredients. Fermentation, germination, and malting methods were used to enhance the quality of six formulated flours, all based on Fonio and supplemented with Bambara groundnut, African locust bean fruit pulp, and cashew kernels. Results showed that Fonio had the highest carbohydrate content, while Bambara groundnut and cashew kernels were rich in protein and lipid content. African locust bean fruit pulp was rich in fiber and Vitamin c, with a high β-carotene value. The cashew kernel had the highest energy value. Regarding mineral composition, African locust bean fruit pulp had the highest potassium content, while Bambara groundnut and African locust bean fruit pulp were rich in sodium. cashew kernel and Fonio had higher iron and calcium content. Bambara groundnut had a higher zinc content, while cashew kernel had a higher magnesium content. The formulated flours made from fermented Fonio grains and enriched with Bambara groundnut, African locust bean fruit pulp, and cashew kernel had varying protein, fiber, carbohydrate, ash, and fat contents. The flour formulated with sprouted Fonio and enriched with the same ingredients had higher protein content and energy value than the other fermented seed-based flours. The mixed flours produced with fermented seeds and the flour produced from sprouted seeds met international standards. Overall, these findings offer valuable insights into the nutritional composition of the formulated flours and their potential to combat infant malnutrition in côte d’Ivoire.

Leaf disease recognition using image processing and deep learning techniques is currently a vibrant research *** studies have focused on recognizing diseases from images of whole *** approach limits the resulting models’ability to estimate leaf disease severity or identify multiple anomalies occurring on the same *** studies have demonstrated that classifying leaf diseases based on individual lesions greatly enhances disease recognition *** those studies,however,the lesions were laboriously cropped by *** study proposes a semi-automatic algorithm that facilitates the fast and efficient preparation of datasets of individual lesions and leaf image pixel maps to overcome this *** datasets were then used to train and test lesion classifier and semantic segmentation convolutional Neural Network(cNN)models,*** report that GoogLeNet’s disease recognition accuracy improved by more than 15%when diseases were recognized from lesion images compared to when disease recognition was done using images of whole leaves.A cNN model which performs semantic segmentation of both the leaf and lesions in one pass is also proposed in this *** proposed KijaniNet model achieved state-of-the-art segmentation performance in terms of mean Intersection over Union(mIoU)score of 0.8448 and 0.6257 for the leaf and lesion pixel classes,*** terms of mean boundary F1 score,the KijaniNet model attained 0.8241 and 0.7855 for the two pixel classes,***,a fully automatic algorithm for leaf disease recognition from individual lesions is *** algorithm employs the semantic segmentation network cascaded to a GoogLeNet classifier for lesion-wise disease *** proposed fully automatic algorithm outperforms competing methods in terms of its superior segmentation and classification performance despite being trained on a small dataset.

Fast and accurate plant disease detection is critical to increasing agricultural productivity in a sustainable ***,human experts have been relied upon to diagnose anomalies in plants caused by diseases,pests,nutritional deficiencies or extreme ***,this is expensive,time consuming and in some cases *** counter these challenges,research into the use of image processing techniques for plant disease recognition has become a hot research *** this paper,we provide a comprehensive review of recent studies carried out in the area of crop pest and disease recognition using image processing and machine learning *** hope that this work will be a valuable resource for researchers in this area of crop pest and disease recognition using image processing *** particular,we concentrate on the use of RGB images owing to the low cost and high availability of digital RGB *** report that recent efforts have focused on the use of deep learning instead of training shallow classifiers using handcrafted *** have reported high recognition accuracies on particular datasets but in many cases,the performance of those systems deteriorated significantly when tested on different datasets or in field ***,progress made so far has been *** results showing the leaf disease recognition performance of ten cNN architectures in terms of recognition accuracy,recall,precision,specificity,F1-score,training duration and storage requirements are also ***,recommendations are made on the most suitable architectures to deploy in conventional as well as mobile/embedded computing *** also discuss some of the unresolved challenges that need to be addressed in order to develop practical automatic plant disease recognition systems for use in field conditions.

The morphology and orientation evolution of cu_(6)Sn_(5)grains formed on(001)cu and(011)cu single crystal substrates under temperature gradient(TG)were *** initial orientated prism-type cu_(6)Sn_(5)grains transformed to non-orientated scallop-type after isothermal ***,the cu_(6)Sn_(5)grains with strong texture were revealed on cold end single crystal cu substrates by imposing *** cu_(6)Sn_(5)grains on(001)cu grew along their c-axis parallel to the substrate and finally merged into one grain to form a fully IMc joint,while those on(011)cu presented a strong texture and merged into a few dominant cu_(6)Sn_(5)grains showing about 30°angle with the *** merging between neighboring cu_(6)Sn_(5)grain pair was attributed to the rapid grain growth and grain boundary ***,a model was put forward to describe the merging *** different morphology and orientation evolutions of the cu_(6)Sn_(5)grains on single crystal and polycrystal cu substrates were revealed based on crystallographic relationship and cu *** method for controlling the morphology and orientation of cu_(6)Sn_(5)grains is really benefitial to solve the reliability problems caused by anisotropy in 3 D packaging.

The Yah＇an Formation of the Ordos Basin is a sequence of four members, consisting of si- liciclastic sediments deposited in alluvial, lacustrine and mire settings during the Middle Jurassic. Samples collected from Members Two and Four contain abundant blackened plant material identified through standard analytical techniques as fusain （fossil charcoal）. The occurrence of fusain in fluvial sandstones at multiple horizons in the outcrops, combined with the previously reported high concentra- tion of inertinite in the coals of Member One, indicates that paleowildfire was a common occurrence in the Ordos Basin during Yan＇an deposition. Sedimentary evidence from Yan＇an outcrops suggests that the paleoclimate was seasonal during deposition of Members Two through Four, which may have contributed to the wildfire frequency. The presence of fusain in the Yah＇an Formation indicates that atmospheric oxygen levels were clearly above the minimum required for sustained combustion during the Middle Jurassic. This conclusion contradicts previous geochemical models for paleoatmospheric composition, but supports more recent studies.

Quaternary glacial records in mountain regions：A formal stratigraphical approach

Glacial deposits in locally-glaciated mountain regions are often expressed through their surface form and the study of these deposits constitutes a major branch of geomorphology. Studies of glacial depositional records in mountain areas have often neglected formal stratigraphical procedure resulting in an ad hoc development of quasi-stratigraphical nomenclature. Here, a formal stratigraphical procedure is recommended, since this enables a systematic approach to the subdivision of glacial deposits in mountain regions. Moreover, such an approach facilitates, in some instances, the development of a formal chronostratigraphy that can be compared to regional and global geological time scales. This is important in locally-glaciated mountain regions where glacial deposits represent one of the most important records of cold stage environments. Given that glacial landforms represent a key component of the Quaternary record, maintaining a formal link between geomorphological and geological stratigraphical procedure is a fundamental requirement of a consistent and comparable stratigraphical framework.
