Hamstring strain injuries are common among sports that involve sprinting,kicking,and high-speed skilled movements or extensive muscle lengthening-type maneuvers with hip flexion and knee *** injuries present the challenge of significant recovery time and a lengthy period of increased susceptibility for recurrent *** one third of hamstring strains recur within the first year following return to sport with subsequent injuries often being more severe than the *** high re-injury rate suggests that athletes may be returning to sport prematurely due to inadequate return to sport *** this review article,we describe the epidemiology,risk factors,differential diagnosis,and prognosis of an acute hamstring *** on the current available evidence,we then propose a clinical guide for the rehabilitation of acute hamstring strains and an algorithm to assist clinicians in the decision-making process when assessing readiness of an athlete to return to sport.

Whole wheat bread is widely available worldwide,but it is always associated with less desirable dough processibility,small loaf volume,firm and gritty texture,and other distinctive attributes compared to white *** are commonly used to improve dough handling and baking quality during bread *** present study,five emulsifiers(diacetyl tartaric acid esters of mono-and diglycerides(DATEM),polysorbate 80,sodium stearoyl lactylate(SSL),soy lecithin,and sucrose esters)were added during dough preparation of the whole wheat flour at 0.2%,0.5%,and 1.0%(flour weight basis).Dough rheological behavior and bread quality attributes,such as specific loaf volume and hardness,were *** results showed that DATEM,sucrose esters,and SSL increased the resistance to extension of the dough,whereas soy lecithin and polysorbate 80 increased the *** lecithin and polysorbate 80 were the only emulsifiers that significantly increased loaf volume compared to the *** higher levels(1.0%)of sucrose esters,polysorbate 80,and SSL increased the formation of amylose-lipid complex and mitigate the crumb staling during *** results suggested that the emulsifiers could be applied to contribute to optimum functional quality of whole wheat bread.

A Descriptive Study of Howard Goldblatt's Translation of Red Sorghum With Reference to Translational Norms

This research seeks to provide a descriptive study of the English translation of the breakthrough Chinese novel Red Sorghum by Mo Yan. The novel is a prime example for the research into strategies and norms in translation within a Chinese-English framework for three main reasons. Firstly, due to the huge impact the novel has had in terms of its truth-telling about the Sino-Japanese War(1937 – 1945) in China. Secondly, because of Mo Yan's unique non-linear writing style, and thirdly for the fact that the novel was translated by Howard Goldblatt, who is an American native English speaker, which is fairly rare in terms of ChineseEnglish translations. This research seeks not only to provide a descriptive study of Howard Goldblatt's English translation of the breakthrough Chinese novel but also to explore the strategies he employs during the translation process. An investigation is carried out to determine whether Goldblatt makes use of particular translation strategies and follows these approaches throughout the novel, thereby creating certain translational norms. Through primary research into the novel one would find that this is in fact the case. For example, he makes use of a domesticating approach in terms of translating Chinese cultural items, phrases, or terms. However, it is only through more in-depth research and a close comparison of the source and target texts, that one finds that Goldblatt does not in fact follow similar strategies in every instance but uses them sporadically throughout the novel according to the context or message that must be carried across. These discoveries are significant in that they are not entirely what is expected nor what is initially found by other ***, the results of this research along with the descriptive study of the translation of Red Sorghum and the investigations into the translation strategies and norms at play during the translation process allow for better understanding of the translation process. Patients with interstitial lung disease commonly exhibit abnormal sleep architecture and increased sleep fragmentation on polysomnography. Fatigue is a frequent complaint, and it is likely that poor sleep quality is a significant contributor. A number of studies have shown that sleep disordered breathing is prevalent in this population, particularly in the idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis subgroup. The factors that predispose these patients to obstructive sleep apnoea are not well understood, however it is believed that reduced caudal traction on the upper airway can enhance collapsibility. Ventilatory control system instability may also be an important factor, particularly in those with increased chemo-responsiveness, and in hypoxic conditions. Transient, repetitive nocturnal oxygen desaturation is frequently observed in interstitial lung disease, both with and without associated obstructive apnoeas. There is increasing evidence that sleep-desaturation is associated with increased mortality, and may be important in the pathogenesis of pulmonary hypertension in this population.

This study examines the motivations for visual brand-related user generated content within the context of WeChat *** study adopts an exploratory approach to the phenomenon and conducts the research through the use of Narrative Interviews which offer an in-depth examination of WeChat users *** the Analysis of Narratives approach to analyzing the empirical findings,a number of motivations were found in regard to personal and social motivations in line with previous studies that uses the Self-concept and Uses and Gratifications ***,this study found a new category not previously found in extant literate,the motivation of showing support which encompassed a more personal relationship with the brand and the consumer based on the findings that multiple users were motivated by personal friendships with brand owners or chefs to post photos on their moments.
