The dried roots of Aconitum pendulum Busch are the major source of a commonly used Tibetan medicine,namely Tiebangchui(TBC)(Fig.S1).However,raw TBC contains a large amount of high toxic diester-diterpenoid alkaloids(DDAs),and the improper use would cause arrhythmia,irreversible cardiovascular damages,and even death.“Paozhi”,an appropriate processing method,is the essential prerequisite for the safe clinical application of ***-decocting and sand-frying are commonly used processing methods for toxicity attenuation and efficacy preservation for TBC.

A novel carboxylated lactose/sodium lignosulfonate/polyacrylic acid hydrogel composites with self-reduction capacity was successfully synthesized by self-assembly *** hydrogel with well-developed porous structure provided abundant anchoring points and reduction capacity for transforming Ag^(+)into silver *** nanoparticles dispersed among the network of hydrogel and the composites exhibited catalytic *** catalytic performance was evaluated via degradation of p-nitrophenol,rhodamine B,methyl orange and methylene blue,which were catalyzed with corresponding reaction rate constants of 0.04338,0.07499,0.04891,and 0.00628 s^(–1),*** addition,the catalyst exhibited stable performance under fixed-bed condition and the corresponding conversion rate still maintained more than 80%after 540 ***,the catalytic performance still maintained effective in tap water and simulated *** catalytic efficiency still remained 99.7%with no significant decrease after 8 cycles.

This study developed a novel Mnfe-LDH/PMS/O3 three-phase catalytic system to degrade the organic dye RhB, which was used to address the drawbacks of persulfate oxidation and ozonation techniques. The structure, ionic and elemental composition, specific surface area, and magnetic properties of the LDHs were investigated using a variety of physicochemical characterization tools. The results showed that Mnfe-LDH had a large specific surface area, a rich crystalline phase composition, and a functional group structure. The RhB degradation rate of Mnfe-LDH/PMS/O3 was 0.34 min−1, which was much higher than that of other comparative systems. RhB could be completely degraded in 10 min after optimization and had a significant effect on TOC removal. The system was found to be effective over a wide pH range. Common anions were largely unaffected and humic acid acted as an inhibitor. At the same time, the system had generally effective degradation performance for different dyes. Combined with quenching experiments and ePR, it was found that SO4•−, •OH, O_(2)•−, and 1O_(2) all participated in the reaction, and •OH contributed more. The degradation pathway of RhB was derived by LC-MS, and the T.e.S.T. evaluation found that the toxicity of the intermediate product was significantly reduced. Finally, the stability and availability of LDHs were verified using cycling experiments and metal ion leaching. This work provides a theoretical basis and data support for the synergistic catalysis of PMS/O3 and the deep treatment of dye wastewater.

Chiral inorganic materials have attracted great attention owning to their unique physical and chemical properties attributed to the symmetry-breaking of their *** inorganic materials can be endowed with chiral geometric configurations from achiral space group crystals through lattice twisting,screw dislocations or hierarchical self-assembled spiral morphologies,showing various characteristic chiral ***,the multilevel chirality in chiral nickel molybdate films(CNMFs)remains to be elaborately *** this paper,we report three hierarchical levels of chirality in CNMFs,spanning from the atomic to the micron scale,including primary helically coiled nanoflakes with twisted atomic crystal lattices,secondary helical stacking of layered nanoflakes,and tertiary asymmetric morphology between adjacent *** findings may enrich the chiral self-assembly structural types and provide valuable insights for the comprehensive analysis path of hierarchical chiral crystals.

Constructing heterostructured nanohybrid is considered as a prominent route to fabricate alternative electrocatalysts to commercial Pt/C for hydrogen evolution reaction(HeR).In this work,(NH_(4))_(4)[NiH_(6)Mo_(6)O_(4)]·5H_(2)O polyoxometalates(NiMo_(6))are adopted as the cluster precursors for simple fabrication of heterostructured Pt-Ni_(3)Mo_(3)N nanohybrids supported by carbon black(Pt-Ni_(3)Mo_(3)N/C)without using additional N *** improved porosity and enhanced electronic interaction of Pt-Ni_(3)Mo_(3)N/C should be attributed to the integration of Pt with NiMo_(6),which favors the mass transport,promotes the formation of exposed catalytic sites,and benefits the regulation of intrinsic ***,the as-obtained Pt-Ni_(3)Mo_(3)N/C exhibits impressive and durable HeR performance as indicated by the low overpotential of 13.7 mV at the current density of 10 mA cm^(-2) and the stable overpotential during continuous working at 100 mA cm^(-2) for 100 *** work provides significant insights for the synthesis of new highly active heterostructured electrocatalysts for renewable energy devices.
