At present, all people know that, during the performance of any activity, each person is always under the influence of a set of external factors that can influence in their results. In fact, all people know that factors such as hour, accumulated fatigue, or mood, can be very influential in the productivity. However, there are other less studied factors that can equally be influential, to a greater or lesser extent. For this reason, in the present work are used different techniques belonging to Soft Computing, with the objective of detecting those most influential factors by the execution of a set of experiments under different simulated circumstances in a controlled environment.

Background: The use of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) for cardiovascular risk profiling requires knowledge of the distribution in different populations. We studied serum hs-CRP in a healthy Brazilian population, with no evidence of heart disease, relative to gender and smoking status as well as other clinical and laboratory variables. methods: 684 healthy Brazilian individuals, aged 14-74 years(mean 40-.6 years), 295 men(43.1%) and 389 women(56.9%), were enrolled between July 1998 and July 2001. The relationship between the log-transformed hs-CRP, stratified by gender and smoking status(non-smokers, smokers), and clinical and laboratory variables were analyzed using the Spearman correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression. Results: In a multiple linear regression model age(β=1.0069, p=0.03), body mass index(BmI) (β=1.0093, pmoking was able to disclose different interactions between these variables and hs-CRP. Variables significantly correlated in each stratum were as follows: in smoker men, age(β=1.0236, p=0.04) and TC/HDL-C (β=1.2065, pmoker men, BmI(β=1.0786, pmoker women, BmI(β=1.1006, p=0.03); and in non-smoker women, BmI (β=1.0873, pmoking. In assessing the risk of cardiovascular events in relation to serum hs-CRP level, stratification by gender and smoking status is indicated.

Objective: This systematic review aimed to critically analyze the literature to determine how high-intensity intermittent training(HIIT) affects recreational endurance runners in the short-and ***: Electronic databases were searched for literature dating from January 2000 to October 2015. The search was conducted using the key words "high-intensity intermittent training" or "high-intensity interval exercise" or "interval running" or "sprint interval training" and "endurance runners" or "long distance runners". A systematic approach was used to evaluate the 783 articles identified for initial review. Studies were included if they investigated HIIT in recreational endurance runners. The methodological quality of the studies was evaluated using the Physiotherapy Evidence Database(PEDro) scale(for intervention studies) and the modified Downs and Black Quality Index(for cross-sectional studies).Results: Twenty-three studies met the inclusionary criteria for review. The results are presented in 2 parts: cross-sectional(n = 15) and intervention studies(n = 8). In the 15 cross-sectional studies selected, endurance runners performed at least 1 HIIT protocol, and the acute impact on physiological, neuromuscular, metabolic and/or biomechanical variables was assessed. Intervention studies lasted a minimum of 4 weeks, with 10 weeks being the longest intervention period, and included 2 to 4 HIIT sessions per week. most of these studies combined HIIT sessions with continuous run(CR) sessions; 2 studies' subjects performed HIIT ***: HIIT-based running plans(2 to 3 HIIT sessions per week, combining HIIT and CR runs) show athletic performance improvements in endurance runners by improving maximal oxygen uptake and running economy along with muscular and metabolic adaptations. To maximize the adaptations to training, both HIIT and CR must be part of training programs for endurance runners.

试验旨在研究日粮蒸煮压片(C-F)玉米和添加酶制剂(ES)对1～21日龄肉仔鸡黏膜形态、消化器官重量、饲料消化率和生长性能的影响。试验采用2×2完全随机设计,分为4个处理,其中玉米为未经处理的生玉米和C-F玉米,酶制剂为木聚糖酶、蛋白酶和α-淀粉酶混合物,并设两个添加水平,分别为0和500mg·kg-1。试验结果表明,不同玉米处理并不影响1～21日龄肉仔鸡生产性能,但ES可显著改善1～4日龄肉仔鸡体增重(P<0.01)和饲料转化率(P<0.001)。C-F玉米可改善肉仔鸡肠道食糜黏度,而ES却可以显著降低肠道食糜黏度(P<0.001)。日粮添加ES和C-F玉米对肉仔鸡肠道食糜黏度的影响较未经处理玉米组显著(P<0.05),且日龄较小时效果更为显蓍(P<0.05)。C-F玉米可显著提高肉仔鸡干物质和有机物的肠道表观消化率(P<0.05),极显著提高中性洗涤纤维和淀粉的肠道表观消化率(P<0.10),改善醚提取物(EE)消化率(P<0.10)。ES可以显著改善肉仔鸡氮沉积(P<0.01)和EE消化率(P<0.001)。中性洗涤纤维和淀粉的消化率随日龄增长呈线性增长趋势(P<0.001),但是肉仔鸡的氮沉积和有机物、EE、总能的消化率在4～8日龄下降,随后又会显著升高(P<0.001)。C-F玉米可降低肉鸡胰腺相对重量(P<0.01),提高肝脏的相对重量(P<0.001),且肉鸡前胃、肌胃和肝脏的相对重量在6日龄时达到最大,而小肠和胰的相对重量约在7、8日龄时达到最大。ES可影响绒毛长度,但不影响绒毛宽度或绒毛表面积。综上所述,C-F玉米可以改善肉仔鸡饲料消化率,但在21日龄肉仔鸡的生长性能没有影响;另外,ES只可以改善1～4日龄肉仔鸡的氮沉积、EE消化率和生长性能。

Purpose:This study aimed to evaluate running kinematic characteristics during the early and late stages of 2 high-intensity intermittent training(HIIT)protocols with similar external load but different average running pace,as well as to compare the fatigue-induced changes during both HIIT protocols at a kinematic ***:Eighteen endurance runners were tested on a track on 2 occasions:10 runs of 400 m with 90-120 s recovery between running bouts(10 × 400 m),and 40 runs of 100 m with 25-30 s recovery between running bouts(40 × 100 m).Heart rate was monitored during both protocols;blood lactate accumulation and rate of perceived exertion were recorded after both exercises.A high-speed camera was used to measure sagittalplane kinematics at the first and last runs during both HIIT *** dependent variables were spatial-temporal parameters(step length and contact and flight time),joint angles during support(relative angles of the hip,knee,and ankle),and foot strike ***:High levels of exhaustion were reached by the athletes during both workouts(blood lactate accumulation>12 mmol/L,rate of perceived exertion>15;peak heart rate(HRpeak)>176 bpm).A within-protocol paired t test(first *** run)revealed no significant changes(p≥0.05)in kinematic variables during any of the HIIT sessions.A between-protocol comparison with the first run of each protocol revealed the effect of running speed on kinematics:+2.44 km/h during the 40 × 100 m:shorter contact and flight time(pmaller knee and ankle flexion(pmidstance;and greater hip extension at toe-off(pmed at intensity above the velocity associated with maximal oxygen uptake did not consistently perturb the running kinematics of trained endurance runners.

Purpose：This study aimed to describe the acute effects of 2 different high-intensity intermittent trainings（HIITs） on postural control,countermovement jump（CmJ）,squat jump（SJ）,and stretch-shortening cycle（SSC） utilisation,and to compare the changes induced by both protocols in those variables in endurance ***：Eighteen recreationally trained endurance runners participated in this study and were tested on 2 occasions：10 runs of 400 m with 90 s recovery between running bouts（10×400 m）,and 40 runs of 100 m with 30 s recovery between runs（40 × 100 m）.Heart rate was monitored during both HIITs;blood lactate accumulation and rate of perceived exertion were recorded after both *** jump ability（CmJ and SJ） and SSC together with postural control were also controlled during both ***：Repeated measures analysis revealed a significan improvement in CmJ and SJ during 10 × 400 m（p〈0.05）,whilst no significan changes were observed during 40×100 *** related to SSC did not experience significan changes during any of the *** for postural control,no significan changes were observed in the 40×100 m protocol,whilst significan impairments were observed during the 10×400 m protocol（p〈0.05）.Conclusion：A protocol with a higher number of shorter runs（40×100 m） induced different changes in those neuromuscular parameters than those with fewer and longer runs（10×400 m）.Whereas the 40×100 m protocol did not cause any significan changes in vertical jump ability,postural control or SSC utilisation,the 10×400 m protocol impaired postural control and caused improvements in vertical jumping tests.

Objective: To evaluate the ability of Bacillus spp. as direct-fed microbials(DFm) to biodegrade al atoxin B1(AFB1) by using an in vitro digestive model simulating in vivo ***: Sixty-nine Bacillus isolates were obtained from intestines, and soil samples were screened by using a selective media method against 0.25 and 1.00 μg/m L of AFB1 in modii ed Czapek-Dox medium. Plates were incubated at 37 °C and observed every two days for two weeks. Physiological properties of the three Bacillus spp. candidates were characterized biochemically and by 16 S r RNA sequence analyzes for identii cation. Tolerance to acidic p H, osmotic concentrations of Na Cl, bile salts were tested, and antimicrobial sensitivity proi les were also determined. Bacillus candidates were individually sporulated by using a solid fermentation method and combined. Spores were incorporated into 1 of 3 experimental feed groups: 1) Negative control group, with unmedicated starter broiler feed without AFB1; 2) Positive control group, with negative control feed contaminated with 0.01% AFB1; 3) DFm treated group, with positive control feed supplemented with 109 spores/g. After digestion time(3:15 h), supernatants and digesta were collected for high-performance liquid chromatography l uorescence detection analysis by ***: Three out of those sixty-nine DFm candidates showed ability to biodegrade AFB1 in vitro based on growth as well as reduction of l uorescence and area of clearance around each colony in modii ed Czapek-Dox medium which was clearly visible under day light after 48 h of evaluation. Analysis of 16S-DNA identii ed the strains as Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus megaterium and Bacillus subtilis. The three Bacillus strains were tolerant to acidic conditions(p H 2.0), tolerant to a high osmotic pressure(Na Cl at 6.5%), and were able to tolerate 0.037% bile salts after 24 h of incubation. No signii cant dif erences(P > 0.05) were observed in the concentrations of AFB1

Due to the removal of antibiotic growth promoters (AGPs) and consumer pressure for antibiotic-free (ABF) or no antibiotics ever (NAE) poultry production, there is a need for sustainable alternatives to prevent disease in commercial poultry operations. Without AGPs, there has been a rise in diseases that were traditionally controlled by subtherapeutic levels of antibiotics in the diet. This has impacted the health of commercial poultry and has been a significant cost to poultry producers. To mitigate this, the industry has started to investigate alternatives to antibiotics to treat these forthcoming health issues, such as necrotic enteritis (NE). NE is an enteric disease caused by an over proliferation of toxigenic Clostridium perfringens (CP) in the gastrointestinal tract. Although CP is a commensal in the avian intestinal tract, dysbiosis caused by inflammation and impaired intestinal integrity facilitates uncontrolled replication of CP. Infectious agents, such as Eimeria maxima, appear to be a predominant predisposing factor that promotes NE. However, non-infectious stressors, including dietary changes, have also been associated with NE to some degree. As a result of increased pressure to restrict the use of antibiotics, there is a need for research evaluating the efficacy of alternatives, such as plant-derived essential oils, as potential tools to mitigate NE in commercial poultry flocks. The aim of this study is to review the effects of essential oils as an alternative to antibiotics to reduce the incidence and severity of necrotic enteritis in broiler chickens.

The effects of supplementing a blend of organic acids (OA) and a lactic acid bacteria (LAB) based-probiotic on egg to chick weight loss (%) and Salmonella spp. recovery counts in the litter of commercial broiler breeders were examined in three independent trials during the years 2013, 2014 and 2015. In each trial, ten thousand birds were divided into two groups of 5000 birds (4500 females and 500 males in each group): Control non-treated group, receiving regular water or treated group, receiving OA and probiotic in the drinking water from 25 to 35 weeks of age. During the ten weeks of evaluation, one thousand fertile eggs or hatched chickens in each trial respectively, were evaluated to obtained, hatching set weight, transferred egg weight, and hatching chick weight, to estimate the difference between egg to chick weight loss (%). Besides, in trial 2 (2014) and trial 3 (2015), litter samples were collected to evaluate Salmonella spp. counts. The supplementation of OA and probiotic during ten consecutive weeks significantly decreased the egg to chick weight loss (%) when compared with the control non-treated groups in all three trials evaluated. Interestingly, at the end of the trials 2 and 3, no counts of Salmonella spp. in the litter were detected. In contrast, control-non treated groups resulted in 4.30 and 4.24 Log10 of Salmonella spp. in trials two and three respectively. The results of the present study suggest that supplementation of OA and a LAB-probiotic for ten consecutive weeks decrease the egg to chick weight loss (%) and reduce Salmonella spp. counts in the litter of commercial broiler breeders. Higher initial body weight in broiler chickens and reduction of Salmonella spp., clearly justify the use of the combination of these products, as alternatives to antibiotics.
