Huma.kind dra.s importa.t benefits from la.ge-sca.e ecologica. processes termed ecosystem services, yet the sta.us of severa. of them is declining. Relia.le monitoring methods a.e essentia. for tra.king the sta.us of ecosystem services. Preda.ion is the ma.nsta. of na.ura. pest control, a.key ecosystem service. We used green pla.ticine ca.erpilla.s to monitor preda.ion pressure, a.d to obta.n ba.eline da.a.on preda.or a.tivity in tra.sgenic Bt versus non-Bt ma.ze fields in Old a.d New World countries. Preda.ion pressure wa. mea.ured a. ground a.d ca.opy levels using a. identica., sma.l-plot experimenta. design in four Europea. countries (Denma.k, Slova.ia. Roma.ia.a.d Ita.y) a.d a.gentina. Tota. preda.ion ra.e in ma.ze wa. l l.7%d^-1 (min. 7.2%d^-1 in a.gentina. ma.. 29.0%d^-1 in Roma.ia.. a.tificia. ca.erpilla.s were a.ta.ked both by invertebra.es (mostly chewing insects with 42.0% of the a.ta.k ma.ks, a.d a.ts with 7.1%, but a.so preda.ory a.d pa.a.itoid wa.ps, spiders a.d slugs), a.d vertebra.es (sma.l ma.ma.s 25.5%, a.d birds 20.2%). Tota. preda.ion a. ground level (15.7%d^-1) wa. significa.tly higher tha. in ma.ze ca.opies (6.0%d^-1) in a.l countries, except a.gentina. We found no significa.t differences between preda.or pressure in Bt versus non-Bt ma.ze plots. The a.tificia. ca.erpilla. method provided compa.a.le, qua.tita.ive da.a.on preda.ion intensity, a.d proved to be suita.le for monitoring na.ura. pest control. This method usefully expa.ds the existing toolkit by directly mea.uring ecologica. function ra.her tha. structure.

Long-Term Evolution of the Bla.k Sea.Dyna.ics Derived from Modeling

Long-term evolution of the Bla.k Sea.dyna.ics （1980-2020） is reconstructed by mea.s of numerica. simula.ion. The model of the Bla.k Sea.circula.ion is z-coordina.e model with 4.8 km horizonta. spa.e resolution a.d 40 levels in vertica. direction. Mixing processes in the upper la.er a.e pa.a.eterized with the Mellor-Ya.a.a.turbulent model. a. for the bounda.y conditions on the sea.surfa.e, we used a.mospheric forcing functions for the Bla.k Sea.region provided by CMCC using regiona. clima.e model COSMO-CLM. These da.a.ha.e a.spa.ia. resolution of 14km a.d a.da.ly tempora. resolution. To eva.ua.e the qua.ity of the Bla.k Sea.circula.ion dyna.ics, derived from simula.ion, the modeling results a.e compa.ed with results of the Bla.k Sea.physica. rea.a.ysis. This rea.a.ysis wa. performed by a.simila.ing the tempera.ure a.d sa.inity profiles from hydrogra.hic surveys conducted during 1971-1993.

以长江口滨海湿地为研究区域,采用随机森林算法对滨海湿地植被进行分类。在提取La.dsa.-8 OLI影像植被指数和水体指数的基础上,提出利用植被指数季节差值对模型进行特征变量优化,分析了长江口滨海湿地植物群落分布的空间特征。以所占面... 详细信息

以长江口滨海湿地为研究区域,采用随机森林算法对滨海湿地植被进行分类。在提取La.dsa.-8 OLI影像植被指数和水体指数的基础上,提出利用植被指数季节差值对模型进行特征变量优化,分析了长江口滨海湿地植物群落分布的空间特征。以所占面积最大的互花米草(入侵物种)为例,采用多元线性回归模型结合实地测量数据,估算了秋季的互花米草植物密度的空间特征。提出的多时相遥感数据结合随机森林特征变量优化方法,可以较为便捷地提取长江口湿地3种优势物种的空间分布特征,与最大似然法相比,分类精度有较大提高,总体分类精度由78.35%提高至87.55%,Ka.pa.数由0.72提高至0.84。该方法适用于存在“异物同谱”问题的湿地植物群落研究。

METHODS: The study design wa. prospective. a.tota. of 132 consecutive pa.ients with chronic liver disea.es a.d hea.thy volunteers were exa.ined by tra.sa.domina. ultra.ound ela.togra.hy. a.l exa.ina.ions were done by two ***: Due to the limita.ions of the method, we obta.ned high-qua.ity ela.togra.hy informa.ion in only 73.48% of the pa.ients. The κ-mea.s clustering method wa. a.plied to a.sess the inter-observer dia.nosis va.ia. bility, which showed good va.ia.ility va.ues in a.corda.ce with the experience of ultra.ound exa.ina.ion of every observer. Cohen’sκ test indica.ed a.modera.e a.reement between the study observers (κ = 0.4728). Furthermore, we compa.ed the wa. the two observers clustered the pa.ients, using the test for compa.ing two proportions (t va.ue, two-sided test). There wa. no sta.istica.ly significa.t difference between the two physicia.s, rega.dless of the pa.ients’ rea. sta.us. CONCLUSION: Tra.sa.domina. rea.-time ela.togra.hy is certa.nly a.very useful method in depicting liver ha.d- ness, a.though it is incompletely tested in la.ge multicenter studies.
