Measurement device-independent quantum key distribution(MDI-QKD) protocols are immune to all possible attacks on the photon detectors during quantum communication, but their key generation rates are low compared with those of other QKD *** each individual photon’s channel capacity is an efficient way to increase the key generation rate, and high-dimensional(HD) encoding is a powerful tool for increasing the channel capacity of photons. In this paper, we propose an HD MDI-QKD protocol with qudits hyper-encoded in spatial mode and polarization degrees of freedom(DOFs). In the proposed protocol, keys can be generated using the spatial mode and polarization DOFs simultaneously. The proposed protocol is unconditionally secure,even for weak coherent pulses with decoy states. The proposed MDI-QKD protocol may be useful for future quantum secure communication applications.

The dielectric elastomer(DE)has attracted significant attention due to its desired features,including large deformation,fast response,and high energy ***,for a DE actuator(DEA)utilizing a snap-through deformation mode,most existing theoretical models fail to predict its deformation *** paper develops a new finite element method(FEM)based on the three-parameter Gent-Gent model suitable for capturing strain-stiffening *** simulation results are verified by experiments,indicating that the FEM can accurately characterize the snap-through path of a *** method proposed in this paper provides theoretical guidance and inspiration for designing and applying DEs and bistable electroactive actuators.

A 2-year-old boy was admitted to our hospital because of recurrent fever,cough and wheezing for half a *** examination revealed obvious inspiratory three-concave sign,moist rales,wheezing,rash on the face and hepatosplenomegaly.A chest computer tomography revealed bilateral lung consolidation(Fig.1).Direct immunofluorescence of nasopharyngeal swab was positive for *** data showed reduced white blood cell of 3.63×10^9 cells/L(ref:4-10×10^9),hemoglobin of 98 g/L(ref:110-155 g/L)and platelets of 64×10^9/L(ref:100-400×10^9).Serum ferritin continued to be above 1500μg/L.

Influence of Endwall Air Injection with Discrete Holes on Corner Separation of a Compressor Cascade

The aim of this study is to reveal the influence mechanism of endwall air injection with distributed holes on the corner separation of a highly loaded compressor cascade,so as to promote the application of injection in ***-hole and double-hole endwall injection schemes featuring different axial locations,pitchwise locations,injection mass rates and injection directions,were designed and *** showed that the corner separation was eliminated by endwall injection;the optimal single-hole injection scheme achieved an endwall loss coefficient reduction of 29.7%,with injection coefficient as low as 0.48%.The optimal axial location of single-hole endwall injection was at 82%axial chord,being the center of corner ***,as injection hole was located at upstream of it,endwall injection resulted in severer corner *** mid-span flow field was deteriorated after endwall injection,which was due to 3D flow effects,i.e.,AVDR(axial velocity density ratio)effect and low-momentum fluid spanwise migration *** optimal injection was achieved at low injection angle and from close to the suction surface on ***-hole injection exhibited inferior performance compared with single-hole,which was due to the interaction of the two injection streams and mixing of injection streams with the bulk stream.

Palladium nanoparticles(Pd NPs) were fabricated by using insulin amyloid fibrils(INSAFs) as *** force microscopy measurements showed that ultrasmall Pd NPs were well adsorbed and dispersed on surfaces of INSAFs. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirmed the partial reduction of Pd ion into metallic Pd(0) probably due to the presence of Cys groups on surface of the insulin fibrils. The electrochemical performance of Pd/INSAFs to reduction of H_2O_2 was further evaluated by cyclic voltammetry. The remarkably high electrocatalytic activity, low detection limitation and excellent stability make the Pd/INSAFs a promising bio-nanoelectrocatalyst.

Aging in oak barrels is widely used in enology which could bring flavor changes and aromatic complexity to *** the present study,the aroma compounds were analyzed from the‘Merlot’dry red wines,which were fermented in two types of fermenters(stainless steel tank and rotated oak barrel)and aged in six types of oak barrels(three geographic origins×two toasting degrees)for different time(0,3,6 and 9 months,respectively).Results showed that 30 volatiles were associated with barrels and increased during oak *** fermenters could influence the intensities of the toast,leathery,smoky,fruity,floral and caramel *** concentration of whisky lactone,eugenol,cis-isoeugenol,and the intensities of the toast and spicy aromas were highest in the wines aged in American oak and were lowest in the wines aged in French oak *** concentrations of guaiacol,syringol,trans-isoeugenol,furfural alcohol,vanilla,cis-whisky lactone enabled the medium toasting barrels to be distinguished from the light toasting *** compounds originating from the barrels could be used to distinguish the types of different barrels,but the other general grape-derived and fermentation-derived volatiles could *** fermenters,oak species and toasting degrees of the barrels all had significant effects on the aroma profiles of the aged‘Merlot’dry red wines,but the influence of the geographic origin was not obvious.
