Regioregular poly(3-hexylthio)thiopene(P3HTT) has emerged tremendous potential in organic electronic applications due to the strong noncovalent interactions from the sulfur atom linked to thiophene. However, P3HTT generally exhibits low charge mobility mostly due to poor solution processability attributed to dense arrangement of hexylthio side chain in polymer, which led to strong noncovalent interactions among sulfur atoms. To balance the nonvalent interaction and aggregation for P3HTT, herein, we systematically study the effect of hexylthio side chain content in polymer backbone on the structure and properties. A series of regioregular P3HTT-based homopolymers(P3HTT, P3HTT-50,P3HTT-33 and P3HTT-25) were prepared via Kumada catalyst transfer polycondensation method from a set of mono-, bi-, ter-and quarterthiophenes containing different contents of hexylthio side chain. The DFT calculation shows the planarity of polymers backbone could be improved through reducing the density of hexylthio side chain in polymer mainchain. And significant changes in their crystallinity, aggregation and optical properties were observed with the content of hexylthio side chain reducing. The P3HTT-33 displayed the highest field-effect transistor hole mobility of 2.83×10^(-2) cm^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1) resulting from a balance between the crystallinity and planarity. This study demonstrates modulating the content of hexylthio side chain in P3HTT is an effective strategy to optimize the opto-electronic properties of polymer obtaining excellent semiconductor device performance.

It is challenging for aqueous Zn-ion batteries(ZIBs)to achieve comparable low-temperature(low-T)performance due to the easy-frozen electrolyte and severe Zn ***,an aqueous electrolyte with a low freezing point and high ionic conductivity is *** with molecular dynamics simulation and multi-scale interface analysis(time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry threedimensional mapping and in-situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy method),the temperature independence of the V_(2)O_(5)cathode and Zn anode is observed to be ***,dominated by the solvent structure of the designed electrolyte at low temperatures,vanadium dissolution/shuttle is significantly inhibited,and the zinc dendrites caused by this electrochemical crosstalk are greatly relieved,thus showing an abnormal temperature inversion *** the disclosure and improvement of the above phenomena,the designed Zn||V_(2)O_(5)full cell delivers superior low-T performance,maintaining almost 99%capacity retention after 9500 cycles(working more than 2500 h)at-20°*** work proposes a kind of electrolyte suitable for low-T ZIBs and reveals the inverse temperature dependence of the Zn anode,which might offer a novel perspective for the investigation of low-T aqueous battery systems.

Photocatalytic aerobic oxidation reactions are largely governed by the efficiency of charge separation and subsequent reactive oxygen species(ROS) generation. Herein, we report a polarization engineering strategy to promote the charge separation and ROS generation efficiency by substituting the benzene unit with furan/thiophene in porous organic polymers(POPs). Benefiting from the extent of local polarization, the thiophene-containing POP(JNU-218) exhibits the best photocatalytic performance in aerobic oxidation reactions, with a yield much higher than those for the furan-containing POP(JNU-217) and the benzenecontaining POP(JNU-216). Experimental studies and theoretical calculations reveal that the increase of local polarization can indeed reduce the exciton binding energy, and therefore facilitate the separation of electron-hole pairs. This work demonstrates a viable strategy to tune charge separation and ROS generation efficiency by modulating the dipole moments of the building blocks in porous polymeric organic semiconductors.

Background Prenatal bisphenol exposure has been reported to be associated with lower birth weight and obesity-related indicators in early *** findings warrant an investigation of the relationship between prenatal bisphenol exposure and the dynamic growth of *** study aimed to evaluate the relationship of maternal bisphenol concentration in urine with the body mass index(BMI)growth trajectory of children aged up to two years and to identify the critical exposure *** A total of 826 mother–offspring pairs were recruited from Wuhan Children’s Hospital between November 2013 and March *** urine samples collected during the first,second,and third trimesters were analyzed for bisphenol A(BPA),bisphenol S,and bisphenol F(BPF)*** of length and weight were taken at 0,1,3,6,8,12,18,and 24 ***'s BMI was standardized using the World Health Organization reference,and group-based trajectory modeling was used to identify BMI growth *** associations between prenatal bisphenol exposure and BMI growth trajectory patterns were assessed using multinomial logistic regression *** The BMI growth trajectories of the 826 children were categorized into four patterns:low-stable(n=134,16.2%),low-increasing(n=142,17.2%),moderate-stable(n=350,42.4%),and moderate-increasing(n=200,24.2%).After adjusting for potential confounders,we observed that prenatal exposure to BPA during the second trimester[odds ratio(OR)=2.20,95%confidence interval(CI)=1.09–4.43]and BPF during the third trimester(OR=3.28,95%CI=1.55–6.95)at the highest quartile concentration were associated with an increased likelihood of the low-increasing BMI ***,in the subgroup analysis by infant sex,the positive association between the highest quartile of prenatal average urinary BPF concentration during the whole pregnancy and the low-increasing BMI trajectory was found only in girls(OR=2.82,95%CI=1.04–7.68).Conclus

Objective To assess the use of evidence-based research(EBR)approach in randomized controlled trials(RCTs)of acupuncture-related therapies for primary dysmenorrhea(PD).Methods PubMed,EMBASE,Cochrane library,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Database,Chinese Biomedical Database,and China Science and Technology Journal Database were searched from January 2013 to December 2022 for RCTs of acupuncture on *** full text and references of each RCT were read to assess whether systematic reviews(SRs)or other types of studies with similar research questions and end-users’perspectives were cited to justify and design the *** addition,the discussion section were analyzed to evaluate whether trials placed the new result in the existing SRs to draw a *** logistic regression was used to find variables that associated with 3 aspects of EBR approach:(1)citing clinical studies for justification,(2)citing relevant studies that obtain the perspectives of end users,and(3)citing clinical studies for results *** Of 473 RCTs included,45.67%(216)of the trials cited relevant similar studies,21.56%(102)referenced to the studies that collected end-users’perspectives,and 10.99%(52)placed result in the context of the previous *** RCTs appropriately applied EBR *** all the included studies,3.17%(15)of the trials used SRs to inform study questions but none of them used updated SRs with acceptable quality;1.05%(5)of the trials cited SRs of end-user’s perspectives in the justification and design of the study,and only 1 trial added results in existing SR to draw a *** of publication,language,funding,registration,ethical approval and number of sites were significantly associated with 1 of the 3 aspects of EBR *** Few RCTs in acupuncture-related therapies for PD used the EBR approach to minimize research ***,research institutes,funding agencies,ethics committees,journals and peer
