Given the increasing number of diabetic patients,rapid and accurate detection of glucose in body fluids is *** study developed a direct electrochemical biosensor for glucose based on nitrogen-doped carbon nanocages(NcNcs).NcNcs possess a large specific surface area of 1395 m^(2)·g^(-1),a high N atomic content of 9.37%and good biocompatibility,which is favorable for enzyme loading and electron *** surface average concentration of electroactive glucose oxidase on NcNcs was 2.82×10^(-10)mol·cm^(-2).The NcNc-based direct electrochemical biosensor exhibited a high sensitivity of 13.7μA·(mmol·L^(-1))^(-1)·cm^(-2),rapid response time of 5 s and an impressive electron-transferrate constant(ks)of 1.87 s^(-1).Furthermore,we investigated an NcNc-based direct electron transfer(DET)biosensor for sweat glucose detection,which demonstrated tremendous promise for non-invasive wearable diabetes diagnosis.

One-step harvest of high-purity methane(ch_(4))from ternary propane/ethane/methane(c_(3)h_(8)/c_(2)h_(6)/ch_(4))mixtures remains a desirable yet challenging goal for natural gas ***,adsorbents either suffer from high capacity and selectivity,or are caught in a dilemma of scalable ***,we demonstrate a scalable pillar layered metal-organic framework Ni-MOF for highly efficient one-step ch_(4)***-MOF exhibits high c_(2)h_(6)and c_(3)h_(8)uptakes of 83.3 and 86.1 cm^(3)/g at 298 K and 100 kPa and remarkable c_(2)h_(6)/ch_(4)(50/50,volume ratio,21.5)and c_(3)h_(8)/ch_(4)(50/50,volume ratio,212.0)***,high c_(2)h_(6)(42.2 cm^(3)/g at 10 kPa)and c_(3)h_(8)(64.7 cm^(3)/g at 5 kPa)capacities in the low-pressure region at 298 K were realized on Ni-MOF,suggesting the strong affinities of Ni-MOF towards c_(2)h_(6)and c_(3)h_(8).Furthermore,the dynamic breakthrough experiments revealed that purifying ch_(4)from natural gas in one-step can be achieved in Ni-MOF with high-purity(>99.8%)and productivity(346.0 cm^(3)/g).Most significantly,the production of Ni-MOF can be scalably synthesized at room temperature,rendering it promising potential for industrial *** combined advantages of exceptional separation performance,scalability,and cycle stability of Ni-MOF pave the way for one-step ch_(4)purification from natural gas.

A series of novel side-chain liquid crystalline (ScLc) copolymers were synthesized by attaching two distinct mesogenic units, namely a chiral cholesteryl-based monomer (M1) and an achiral biphenyl-based monomer (M2), to a poly(3-mercaptopropylmethylsiloxane)(PMMS) backbone via thiol-ene click chemistry. The influence of side chain composition on the self-assembly behavior and phase structures of these ScLc copolymers was systematically investigated using different instrument. Results indicate that three distinct liquid crystalline phases and four unique molecular configurations were identified within the polymer series, with the emergence of the liquid crystalline phase being a synergistic outcome of the two distinct side chains. This study underscores the critical influence of side chain dimensions, rigidity, and spatial volume on the self-assembly structures and phase characteristics of liquid crystalline polymers, providing valuable insights for the rational design and development of advanced functional materials with tailored properties.

Spinor Bose–Einstein condensates(BEcs)are formed when atoms in the multi-component BEcs possess single hyperfine spin states but retain internal spin degrees of *** study concentrates on a(1+1)-dimensional three-couple Gross–Pitaevskii system to depict the macroscopic spinor BEc waves within the meanfield *** the distribution of the atoms corresponding to the three vertical spin projections,a known binary Darboux transformation is utilized to derive the𝑁matter-wave soliton solutions and triple-pole matter-wave soliton solutions on the zero background,where𝑁is a positive *** those multiple matterwave solitons,the asymptotic analysis is performed to obtain the algebraic expressions of the soliton components in the𝑁matter-wave solitons and triple-pole matter-wave *** asymptotic results indicate that the matter-wave solitons in the spinor BEcs possess the property of maintaining their energy content and coherence during the propagation and ***,in the𝑁matter-wave solitons,each soliton component contributes to the phase shifts of the other soliton components;and in the triple-pole matter-wave solitons,stable attractive forces exist between the different matter-wave soliton *** multiple matter-wave solitons are graphically illustrated through three-dimensional plots,density plot and contour plot,which are consistent with the asymptotic analysis *** present analysis may provide the explanations for the complex natural mechanisms of the matter waves in the spinor BEcs,and may have potential applications in designs of atom lasers,atom interferometry and coherent atom transport.
