Background: Mycobacterium (M) chelonei keratitis is a rare opportunistic eye infection that can cause significant morbidity when not being treated properly. the first case was documented by Gangadharam et al in 1978 and since then, a total of 49 cases were reported in the literature. One alarming fact.is that more than 50% of cases were found in the Chinese population and mostly reported in recent years. the key to successful management of M. chelonei keratitis is early diagnosis by high index of suspicion. in order to alert ophthalmologists of t.is condition, we report a typical case of M. chelonei keratitis and review the literature of all the reported cases with special reference to its risk factors, treatments and ***: the cases reported in the literature and a case of our own were reviewed and ***: Our case was a 42-year-old gentleman who developed M. chlonei keratitis following pterygium surgery. Background and Objective:Hong Kong,like many parts of Asia,faces a high burden of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)caused by high endemic rates of hepatitis B virus *** Kong clinicians have developed a high level of expertise in HCC treatment across surgical,transarterial,ablative,radiotherapeutic and systemic *** publication summarizes the latest evidence-based recommendations on how these modalities should be ***:in two meetings held in 2020,a multidisciplinary panel of surgeons,oncologists and interventional radiologists performed a narrative review of evidence on the management of HCC,with an emphasis on treatment of HCC not amenable to surgical *** attention was paid to new evidence published since the previous version of these statements in *** Content and Findings:the expert panel has formulated 60 consensus statements to guide the staging and treatment of unresectable *** the previous version of these statements,considerable additions have been made to the recommendations on use of targeted therapies and immunotherapies because of the large volume of new ***:Our consensus statements offer guidance on how to select HCC patients for surgical or non-surgical treatment and for choosing among non-surgical modalities for patients who are not candidates for *** particular,there is a need for more evidence to aid physicians in the selection of second-line systemic therapies,as currently most data are limited to patients with disease progression on first-line sorafenib.

Background: Our aim was to assess the safety and efficacy of primary and secon dary implantation of a black diaphragm aniridia intraocular lens (iOL) in patien ts that lacked a complete iris diaphragm. Methods: t.is was a retrospective non -comparative study of six eyes in five patients with iris defects. the causes o f such defects included congenital aniridia, traumatic aniridia, and oculocutane ous albinism. three eyes underwent primary implantations of a black diaphragm iO L, and three eyes were given secondary implantations. the visual acuity, subject.ive severity of glare, postoperative anatomical outcome and any intraoperative o r postoperative complications were reviewed. Results: the mean follow-up period was 20.6 months (range 3-29 months. All patients showed stable or improvement.in best-corrected visual acuity postoperatively. Glare and photophobia had impr oved subjectively in all patients after implantation of the black diaphragm iOL. intraoperative complication included one case of hyphaema and iris damage durin g insertion of the iOL. Postoperative complications included intraocular inflamm ation with choroidal detachment, secondary glaucoma, and persistent epithelial d efect after surgery. None of the patients developed decentration of iOL after su rgery. Conclusion: the black diaphragm aniridia iOL is useful in the management of the condition in patients with iris deficiency including oculocutaneous albin ism. intraoperative and postoperative complications are not uncommon, and patients should be monitored carefully in the perioperative period.

A collision tumor of t and B-cell lymphomas occur rarely. in t.is article we report a collision tumor of anaplastic large cell lymphoma and diffuse large B cell lymphoma in a 46 year old female. the tumor showed predominantly neoplastic anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) component expressing CD30 and ALK with smaller areas of CD20+ diffuse large B cell lymphoma component. Polymerase chain reaction for t-cell receptor beta and igH (VDJ) gene rearrangements detected a clonal t cell and a clonal B cell population. the patient developed CSF involvement approximately 3 months after treatment. CSF analysis at t.is time showed only monoclonal t cells, probably due to clearing of the B cell component by the chemotherapy. to the best of our knowledge t.is is the first case report of a composite tumor of ALCL (lymphohistiocytic variant) and DLBCL. t.is case raises issues related to the classification of these composite lymphomas and the treatment on initial presentation and during relapse.

the evolution of soliton molecules emphasizes the complex soliton dynamics akin to matter *** the simplest soliton molecule-a soliton pair constituted by two bound pulses-soliton molecules with more constituents have more degrees of freedom because of the temporal pulse separations and relative *** we det.iledly characterize the transient dynamics of soliton t.iplets in fiber lasers by using the dispersive Fourier transform measurement.A particular form of leading,central,and t.iling pulses is constructed to shed new light on more int.iguing scenarios and fuel the molecular *** the vibrating dynamics of the central and t.iling pulses are captured near the regime of equally spaced soliton t.iplets,which is reminiscent of the recurrent timing jitters wit.in multi-pulse *** insights enable acess into a universal form of unequally spaced soliton t.iplets interpreted as 2+1 soliton *** binding strengths of intramo-lecular and intermolecular bonds are validated with respect to the diverse internal motions involved in t.is soliton t.iplet *** these findings unveil the transient dynamics with more degrees of freedom as well as highlight the possible application for all-optical bit storage.
